Hey Alex great video, I’ve been watching your videos quite a bit to learn all I can. I recently decided to start hotshot trucking after being in supply chain for nearly twenty years. Just received notification tonight that my LLC is officially filed. Luckily the company I currently work for is selling me a truck and trailer which is going to be a great help and since I manage the fleet I know the history on the equipment. Fellow Houston Native, thank for all the info!
First of all, I am very thankful to you for that professional hardwork video content. I never saw this kind of detailed + very professionally designed processes + simple describing. Excellent video sir. I've been driving doubles for fedex freight in the northeast for 3.5 years now.....been thinking about hotshot for a little bit.....then boom! The videos start showing up in my UA-cam without searching for them......a sign???? Maybe. Thanks for the content.
Alex,am CDL driver, hard worker, reliable, resourceful, for the past week or so been thinking seriously to start my own hot shot trucking,as I am gathering info around truck stops while I am out,one guy told me he is not working for less than $100 an hour for 10 hours work day, company I am at.are ripping me off on mileage big time,m being payed only loaded miles zip code to zip code, horrible,to big of financial loss for me to absorb every week, the last chest in the past 3 weeks I have lost about 789 miles
Finally a great video 💆🏾♂️thank u sir! Trying to understand the business
Thanks very informative
I have the money to start up, I just would like to make sure I do everything correctly the first time

My first year with my straight truck. I paid 20k in insurance. Now I’m at 15k. Hopefully goes lower next year
I’m 22 years old btw
@@williamhernandez5114 First year was 21k now is 8k. Age is probably the factor here. Straight truck as well.
