Best organized and narrated Audi repair video I've seen. Extremely useful because it is basic to so many service tasks. Many thanks!

This is seriously the most informative video I have ever seen on UA-cam! I need to replace a power steering pump, and it looked scary until I stumbled onto this video! It would be nice if at the beginning you put up a list of tool sizes of sockets that you need, and then in the video mention the size you are about to use too. I could them have them already...just a note maybe for other videos to simplify it even more with minimal work on your end! Any pointers on the PS pump? THANKS A TON!

The bumper impact absorber bolts (Torx 45 i think) 3:18 were almost stuck on mine, needed to heat them several times before they finally gave up - almost destroyed one of the bolts...
On the 1,8Turbo (as mine) the flange nuts 1:12 on the driver side are impossible to reach because of the intercooler. You can reach them from the wheel well instead - just open up the plastic in the "inner" wheel well.
Did not have to move aside any wires or hoses to get enough working space for exchanging the auxilliary condensor fan. The car´s air condition is cold again finally!

How long did you heat it up each time

I shock the heads with a brass punch first and they come out much easier. I also grease the bolt threads on the way back in. The C5 2.7T bumper cover flange bolts on the passenger side need to be accessed through the wheel well as well.

excellent job. I do have the tools to insert which have stops at their ends to prevent the carrier from slipping more forward. Where would these tools (which are threaded bolts) screw into?

As bekawe2011 said, please upload a video about how to replace the thermostat wirtout too much hassle and on the engine side, how to replace the seals for the camshaft (2.4L engine oil leakage problem) the 2.4 V6 30v engine is the same as the 2.8 V6 30v

One of the best instructional vids for A6 so far... Now I'm all the way to the impact torx and stripped one, what would be your method in getting a hold of it or getting that one out of the way?

Just wondering why it was not mentioned about using two long bolts about 10-12" that bolt into the front so the whole front section slides out. Rental tool kit came with them when I did timing belt service.

2001 Allroad: I ddidn't need to unplug the horns. Instead of moving the ac hose it was easier to go through inner fender on the right. Thanks so much for the help.

Can the starter be replaced from the service position, or does the whole front need to come off? Nice video by the way. :)

pull the wheel off and remove most of the fasteners for the fender liner so you can bend it backwards. Then use a small impact or ratchet with a long wobble extension and a deep 10mm socket
