Exactly Harry! You walk in this place and fell comfortable and it’s really nice to be able to see the top of the line locomotives in the cases. Everything is very well organized and this back area is only about 33% of the size of the entire store. They have allot of rc cars and other toys
That was a Beautiful Store! Love all the cases and how neat organized everything is . You panned passed an item in the glass case I gotta call about . I’ll be sure to pay You Attribution on Your Video when I call . Thanks Guy great Tour ! 🙂
That’s awesome I’m glad you Something caught your eye! Yes please tell them you saw my video, I like supporting our local stores and then they know me when I stop by too which helps! Lol
Very nice store. Well organized. It would be a pleasure to shop here. Also, thanks for not panning through the engines so fast. I know you had to cover the remainder of the store quickly, but you did a nice job.
Thanks Paul, everyone like to see the locomotives that’s always the highlight so I took my time and showed them all. I’m hoping to find time in the next few weeks to go to some more stores and I’ll keep your comment in mind while taking time on the engines. Thank you! Nick-
Yep exactly. Nothing against pat but this place is a fun experience and I’ve found myself going here allot to “see” locomotives, get ideas, and then make purchases.
It really is a great store. I try to stop by every time I am back in the city visiting my dad and sister’s family. They had a few locomotives that I had my eye on, though I have too much on preorder to make any new purchases right now.
Thanks for the nice comments! They seem to always have something I want also lol! I know the feeling about pre orders I try to limit myself to must haves
Pat had a lot of inventory and it looked quite daunting but his inventory on the website is usually spot on even with only one item left. Which makes him a gold mine if you looking for something hard to find.
Funny, the store owner mentioned he didn’t sell many of those Williams locomotives over the Xmas holiday rush because of not unboxing them. And now you point out no prices. Maybe a good suggestion for futures sales! Thanks!
Going to a Train shop You can not get enough of if you or not Buy anything It’s still worth going to Better than Goin to a Bar if I had A choice It Would be Train shop Hands Down.
I can try one day, it’s not exactly close to where I live. About a 40 min drive. I’m also not well versed in HO scale since I model O gauge that’s what I know best. I’m planned on doing a few more shops soon I’ll take a little more time to cover the N and HO items
I noticed that as well. The store is really big and they have allot going on there with toys RC car and other hobbies. If they had a webmaster to expand more to online sales I bet they could do allot more business!
Our website is very much a work in progress. Someday it will better show all the things we have in the store. Though the train department might just get a link to Nick's video!
While the website has nothing about trains, except for the wooden trains... the Facebook page does. But don't live in Pennsylvania or the area, so would love to have a website to look. Love to help local hobby shops even if I don't live in the area
You have to remember this is a small business not a major corporation so if you return Somthing that’s damaged or open it’s probably really hard for them to either resell it or have it fixed by the manufacturer. They probably end up loosing money on that sale. Sometimes though as a customer you don’t have any other choice and it ends up in a crappy situation for both parties involved.
@@PghTrainFanatic i would not have complained but the items were not broken or taken out of the package , they also wanted to charge a restocking fee .I should have just walked away .
OUTSTANDING. ! Great Looking Store. Well organized. 🇺🇸
I start to appreciate this store more and more after I visited more places
Great looking shop.
Wish we had that much room in our shop.
Well organized way a shop should be.

Thanks roger!! I plan and hope to do more soon! Nick-
After seeing Pats train store then this store, it just goes to show how far organization and proper displays make the shopping experience
I agree with that on an organized shop is important.
Yep exactly. Nothing against pat but this place is a fun experience and I’ve found myself going here allot to “see” locomotives, get ideas, and then make purchases.
Train shops Always Have the good Stuff.
Yes! And it’s fun!
great Train store walk through video 🚂👍🚅
Thank you Brian! It’s an excellent store and a great way to end this group of 5 store visits!

😎Yes - First class Train Shop & excellent tour • Cheers from the Detroit & Mackinac Railway 🚂
Thanks Gary! They have a very nice place! Fun place to shop for trains!
I shop for HO trains for my grandson and O for my layout. Selection and prices are good, and the staff is always helpful.
They do have a really nice selection of HO scale items. Although I don’t model that scale myself it’s cool to look at.
Another excellent store Nick!!!
Thanks Jeff!! It’s an awesome store!!
@@PghTrainFanatic You're welcome!!!

Very true statement! This store is just a pleasure to shop in though
Very nice place!
Top class store Randy and you can see the engines!!
@@PghTrainFanatic Envy!
I love it there nice
Yeah this place rocks!
Kool place great video 😎🚂👍👍👍👍👍
Nice store review and visit ! Surprise there was no pricing on the Williams / Bachmann Locomotives.
Funny, the store owner mentioned he didn’t sell many of those Williams locomotives over the Xmas holiday rush because of not unboxing them. And now you point out no prices. Maybe a good suggestion for futures sales! Thanks!
@@PghTrainFanatic Williams dont have all the Bells and whistles like MTH & Lionel. But nice product for someone on budget or just starting out.
@@tonyarsenault4256 I agree!
Tony Williams engines are in the $220 - $250 range for most of them. (the price tags are on the side of the box. I'll work on fixing that)
So recently this place had a massive expansion in the train area a lot more room to walk and tons of sets, and more train casings!
Cool
Thanks!!
good vid
Thanks Lee!

I completely agree! I grew up my whole life with a family in the bar business so I get it more than anyone. Thanks!
Looks like a nice Store. How far is it from Washington PA?
40 minutes north. GREAT store. Also big into R/C stuff and interesting toys for the kiddos.
@@PBZzZz OK Thank You. I'm about an hour and 15 minutes from Washington PA. So might be a Trip in the Spring.
Yeah straight up 79N and you’ll end up in cranberry pa about 30 mins north at least how I drive 😂😂😂
@@PghTrainFanatic OK Thanks.
@@PghTrainFanatic Also do you know of anywhere or anyone who does O Scale Steel Mill buildings. Thanks
Beautiful train store. Sniff sniff , i have to stick with my depressing N-scale layout .
Can you go back and cover their HO stuff?

i am going to visit this place do they have a good selection of used engines?
Hi, no they don’t sell used engines
@@PghTrainFanatic thanks! For the info before i went.
Whatever you bought it’s lionel and it has Bluetooth
Good eye yes it does! lol
I visited their web site to find nothing mentioned about model railroading at all. Odd.

I like shopping here but when I had to return an item the process didn't go over to well , I did get the refund but it wasn't a pleasant experience.
I understand as a customer but also as a business owner too so I’m sure they will listen to your feedback and do better next time. Thank you!

**ETA** Just saw in the description that this was a one-day adventure.
Lol they were! And in the order I posted them this week. I left at 7:30 am and got home at 5pm 😂
