The last run at Chucks UP & PRR Railroad! My good friend Chuck has decided to redesign his layout and today was the last run on his really amazing layout I’m sure whatever he builds next will be equally as Impressive, enjoy!

when i was a kid in the 50s we used to go to buel planitarium on the north side and see a gigantic train layout
It was funny to see that National Bohemian Beer box car. Their slogan was "Oh Boy, what a beer!". We used to say, "Oh boy, what a hangover!".

I love trains and Amtrak trains and tri rail trains and fec freight trains and brightline trains
Some decades back a friends dad had an extensive train setup (bought house for the basement) and I believe once a month he'd invite friends over, hand them schedules (arrivals, departures, switch cars, switch trains, etc...), they'd run for an entire day with my friends dad overseeing everything from an elevated corner booth. ;-)
A somewhat small but beautiful layout. Hate to see it go but the creative mind is calling him and met of us knows that means the eight day has come.

O scale (or O gauge) is a scale commonly used for toy trains and rail transport modelling. Introduced by German toy manufacturer Märklin around 1900. 1:48 - 1:43.5 scale.
All those local beer cars and no DuBois Budweiser? Nice tour of a great layout.
I have never seen so many reefers in my entire life
The only thing missing is the artistic paint spray can graffiti on the sides of the various cars.

Fantastic layout tour Nick. Is the curved trestle bridge also on a grade, or is it just the camera angles? I would think it would be difficult to build one on a graded curve, but would be an interesting idea gor my layout I've been planning.

How can I buy this train in india
I noticed one of those monster 86' boxcars up on the ceiling shelf at 1:19. Have you had any operational 'gotchas' running that car?
I have a few of them in my collection. The only things I’ll say about them are you need at least 060 curves and the inside overhang is pretty bad lol
@@PghTrainFanatic somehow I wound up with something like 13-15 of 'em, but haven't run them yet (I nicknamed them "layout shrinkers") . Fortunately my loop is 072, with clearances designed for the overhang of a DDA40X, so I should be good there :D

Yeah his reefer collection is probably the nicest you’ll ever see! It’s a mix of mostly Altas, MTH and some Kline. He does have an icing station but it’s gigantic and I think his next layout has plans for it. Stay tuned and subscribe to chuck!

It’s homemade but I didn’t make it. An old friend gave it to me as a gift a while back
I can't help but notice but the loco shed and switching house are very similar in appearance to some British motive power depot structures and signal box.

I have seen a lot of phantastic model railroads in the US ( f.e Franklin & South Manchester, Pelican Bay & Navigation, San Juan Central) but this one definetly does not belong to them.
