I’m a complete tool with a tool - and could follow this. Took me 15 minutes and the window rolled like new. Thanks for the time and effort in putting this together.

Thanks for the video - Solved my problem with my passenger side window :). A suggestion I removed the cable clip from the door frame and got it on the cable at an easier position an slid it back to the proper spot and re-attached it to the door frame.

Thanks so much for this video. I am finding that I am doing more and more of the work on my Miata these days as my hubby works longer and longer hours. One thing that is very helpful as I am a novice, would be to always show and tell what tools are called and what they look like. I am just learning tool names. Thanks again. Also, if you have any tips for upkeep and maintenance in dry climates I would appreciate it, as Vegas is a desert.

Well done and very helpful, thank you. The tip about loosening the guide channels and regulator to smooth operation was effective and especially appreciated. More videos please.

Thanks for the video, very helpful! Was exactly what I needed, and it was the first thing I have ever fixed on my car. I'm 48 years old, and I'm lazy AF. But Miata is simple.

I've got that issue on a '90 NA, drivers side. I may drill some carefully placed holes so that a ty-rap could be looped around that cable where it can't pop out of it's bracket again. Not sure what causes them to pop free of that bracket, but if they did it once, it's probably going to happen again. Unless other means are taken to pin it down.

My problem is that my 1992 Miata has been sitting for a very long time. The window cranks are very hard to use. I have bad arthritis in my wrists and it is difficult for me to put the window down or crank it back up. What can I do to help with this issue?

    • @MiataMan

Turtle wax dash cleaner will take that white stain out of that door. It conditions the fabric
