    Thank you for sharing. I've been searching the internet for videos similar to this because I have a BCC on my nose. They only do Mohs surgeries on Mondays so My surgery will be on November 13th. Again, thank you for sharing your story

      Ultimately I wanted to do this video to show people that might be having Mohs surgery what the process looks like, I had never seen anyone explain it before on UA-cam this way. Thank you so much watching 💗

    Thank you for sharing your story. I had a biopsy taken about 2 weeks ago on my abdomin of a mole I had that was being a little weird. Theu called me and said they found the mole was abnormal, and they want to take more. I'm assuming their doing MOHS surgery but didn't tell me the name of the procedure. They just said they would numb my abdominal area where they're doing the procedure and take out the more tissue and then stitch me up. I'm assuming I'm having MOHS surgery? I wanted your opinion on what it sounds like, I know you can only go by your experience, but I would love to hear your feedback

      Hello, Thank you for the message. I am sorry to hear about your up coming surgery and hope it all goes well. Honestly I can't say if that is Mohs Surgery or not. I don't know if "Mohs" surgery is only on the face area or not. Very sorry that I can't give better feed back, I am not a medical expert, and like you said I can only go by my own experience. Again wish you well on your surgery and trust your recovery will be speedy 💜🤗

    Before all the swelling, you looked pretty normal. It would have been interesting to know pain level during the procedure for those who will need to do this procedure.

    I am having my surgery on February 9th..It started out like a small wart. Perfect for Halloween, right? Thanks for the insight. Hope all is well now. I also had Melanoma on my left arm about 5 inches from my shoulder. They got it all. Thank God, cause Melanoma is much worse than Basal Cell Carcinoma.

      Best wishes to you Judy regarding your surgery on Feb 9th! I know it is no fun having to deal with this. The first week after is always the toughest - but then time flies by and it all heals. Hope this video was helpful 😊

    I am going to have to have this procedure on the very tip of my nose. Were you prescribed an antibiotic after the procedure?

    • @walkswithholly4610
      @walkswithholly4610  Рік тому

      Sorry to hear about that! No I was not prescribed any antibiotics after the procedure. I mainly took ibuprofen. It was definitely painful the first day once the numbing wore off from the surgery. But with a few days of rest it went away. Best wishes to you for a good surgery, and even better recovery!

      @@walkswithholly4610 thank you. I had a knee replacement 6 years ago so I am also doing everything to avoid infection. I will be sure to ask that question.
