    How long does the lab process take from beginning to end; specimine attached to slide, cryogel, histobath, cryostate cut specimins to 5 to 8 microns, staining, microscope analysis?

      In the lab I work, 20 minutes is the absolute max turn around time. We try to be between 10 to 15 minutes though.

    Why are you embedding that way? Why not straight to the cold cryostat?

      Are you talking about why use the histobath when you can use the cryostat to freeze the tissue?
