I had my Mohs surgery earlier this week at Kaiser Vacaville by Dr. Kenny Ollin. He and his staff were wonderful, very kind and informative. I found the Pre and Post Operative videos extremely helpful. I watched them a few times and especially before changing the dressing the first time. They put my mind at ease. This turned out to be a very positive experience!

Dr. Omlin, the surgery on my right leg (4weeks in) has healed and once again NO VISIBLE scars. The surgery was painless (other than the injection….one poke😂). My husband and I have had several surgeries from our ROCK STAR of Mohs surgery. We are truly blessed to have you Dr. Omlin (a perfectionist and a wonderful human being. Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤

I had my MOHS surgery yesterday and just watched this video for the second time, once last night and again this morning. It has been proven that utilizing multiple senses to learn something, in this case hearing, reading and seeing, reinforces the process. Now I completely understand what, why and how to care for myself post-op. I can't recall ever being told about the bio-hazard aspect of bandages before but it makes total sense to dispose of them properly. Thank you, Dr. Omlin and staff!

I had my Mohs procedure 10 days ago. I was very concerned about scarring until on day 9, I could see the light at the end of the tunnel! The scar on my nose looks like it will be pretty unnoticeable after all! Just wanting to share my experience in case you are going through something similar.

Well I’m getting to be quite a regular. The procedure this time was located on my forehead. I was not concerned about the cancer being removed or being disfigured and again I was not disappointed. Dr. Omlin and his staff are so together and on point. Dr. Omlin is a remarkable surgeon and human being. We need more doctors like Dr. Omlin.❤❤❤❤❤❤

My husband has been cared for by Dr. Omlin at Kaiser in Vacaville. First and foremost- Dr. Omlin is the best in the entire universe for MOHS Surgery! His precision is key! Not only is he a great surgeon- he is simply a kind friend to my husband! The video is super informative and like most surgery- aftercare is an important part to success. Dr. Omlin is a miracle worker and has touched many lives in his career. We are forever grateful to him for his superior knowledge and precision in removal of cancer. We were all so careless in the sun growing up. Thank you Dr. Omlin for prolonging my husband’s life!

On 5/30 I had Mohs Surgery at Kaiser Vacaville with Dr Omlin. Altho as a retired RN, familiar with surgery, I had some idea what to expect I found the videos re: the procedure and aftercare to be interesting, informative , comprehensive and easy to understand . A job well done by Dr Omlin and his crew. The procedure itself went very well. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Omlin and his staff to anyone in need of or considering Mohs. Alan RN

I had Mohs surgery on my cheek this morning, April 9, 2024 at 8:30 AM. This is the second time I’ve had Mohs surgery, the first time was in 2015 when it was above my eye, and that was basal cell carcinoma. This time it was squamous cell. Now I knew what to expect this time around, however the dermatologist did one cut and then put more sutures to close the wound and he said something about taking the surrounding skin and folding it over for reconstruction. I have the biggest bandage I’ve ever had on my face.
I watch this video which I found extremely informative. And I want to commend the people who put this together to say thank you.

I had Moh's on two squamous cell cancers on my face four days ago. Instead of the lengthy preprinted instructions, I wish they had just given me this video to watch and given me a link. It's all the best gouge they gave me condensed in an easily consumable format.

Excellent, informative video for post-surgery care. Another example of Dr. Omlin's passion for getting the word out about how important it is to nip these skin cancers in the bud, and to follow up with home care in the right way. Mohs surgery is amazing... afterwards, you would never know that surgery had occurred because of the intricate techniques that are done by the surgeon.

I just had my 21st MOHS- in the last 15 yrs... all have been on my legs... never do I get to have stictches... always required to do the "natural healing" avg 4 months before I can actually wear pants or my fave boots....I was hoping there is some video on here showing people who- like me have the MOHS - No Sutures lower leg - so far my videos are the only ones that show how to deal with it.

This video reinforces the after-surgery instructions Alicia gave us. The video helps me better understand some of the reasons why I was asked to take certain care steps. It would have been more helpful seeing the video immediately after my surgery rather than after my stitches had been removed. The conditions I might have incurred would have taken place during that week.

I just underwent MOHS surgery a few weeks ago. The procedure is definitely life saving and not so brutally disfiguring as conventional surgery. I'm very grateful I was given the option. The procedure and after care had a minimum of discomfort, and the surgical sight is rapidly healing. I'm very pleased with the results.

This video is fantastic for patients. It's really well explained and the animations are updated. The calm voice explaining in a clear tone makes it appealing to listen to, despite its length. On the other hand, the video is super informative and easy to understand. keep up the great work! I think our surgeons in switzerland can learn a lot from this as well.

Now there is a line on my nose of the scar but yellow I think the suture underneath is getting yellowish. Any sugestion? Thank you.
