Karmann Ghia 1961

A great adventure that started in 2008 and ended in 2017.
I am not a mechanic. I'm just a lover of the old VW. I traded this ruined car for a VW181. I started the work in 2008. With contacts and friends, I was able to finish it. It is now a pleasure to see her in this condition as new. The car is from Nevada. The body was in good condition but one side was damaged. The most difficult was to find the parts of the year of construction. All parts are specific to the original 1961 year (NOS) except:
- disc brakes,
- the engine improved with weber,
- 8x31 transmission box (original VW).
