I grew up riding on this bridge from my hometown that's on "The Northshore" We started our trip on the southern terminus of the causeway where you hit land in Metairie.
Very nicely done! I've always enjoyed my visits to N.O. I have crossed that bridge several times and always enjoyed that adventure! Thanks for sharing!
I haven't been to New Orleans since 1988. Wow! Your tours are encouraging me to visit again.! Random fact: I was interested in pharmacy while in high school and I traveled with my mom in 1976 or 77 to visit Xavier. I did not like the campus back then and I couldn't figure out why there was water canals everywhere.. lol. I decided to major in Engineering instead and attended Purdue.
Haha..no you don't! Not sure of your direction, but if you are coming from the east or the west you're going to be on I-10, if you are coming from the north you're going to be on I-55 all these bypass the Lake.
No you won't, trust me! It's either going to be I-55 South if you pass Memphis or I-10 East if you pass through Baton Rouge. While you will be driving over water to get to New Orleans, you won't have to drive across the Pontchartrain Causeway
Just don't drive over it when it is storming. Whenever I visit N'awlins I ALWAYS check the weather first. Otherwise, very beautiful bridge to cross. Great video. Thanks!
@AaronBallistic coping and seething LMAO,at whatever elevation, the curve should be seen,if you look at a ball curve this close where it shows z Axis line of the ball that IS going to show some curve, even if u elevate the sight point higher
I LOVE WHEN PEOPLE GIVE FACTS AND HISTORY !
Driving over that bridge makes me nervous but it means I'm almost to NOLA!
:-)
I’m from New Orleans too. The Big Easy 💯⚜️

Good quality video. I have seen the great lakes and this lake Pontchartrain seems even bigger! I think it might be!
Thank you!
haha the great lakes are hundreds of miles! lake pontchartrain is only 20 by 40 miles haha
Very nicely done! I've always enjoyed my visits to N.O. I have crossed that bridge several times and always enjoyed that adventure! Thanks for sharing!

Please tell us more about the blue crab! That sounds delicious!
The blue crab is great! one of the best places to get gumbo from a restaurant in the city.Check them out here www.thebluecrabnola.com/
Thanks for sharing this virtual tour, Captain! Very informative.

Dude totally a new fan and subscribed for sure !!!
Thank you! More and better content on the way 🤗
Spot on with your comments. Even your manatee comment. I personally saw a manatee on the south shore some years ago right by the marina.
Lucky you! I would love to see a manatee in Lake Pontchartrain.
Thank you for the wonderful virtual tour. This was very well done.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice photography. You must have an exceptional drone.
Yes...and it's not cheap haha
Love this! I want to be there! The music is so seductive! Please someone do tell me the name of the music!

Thank you! I would love to do Savannah. However, I will be doing a couple of tours of Atlanta in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned 😬
Thanks I learned a lot.
You're welcome!
Love your videos! I hope you're from New Orleans so we can claim you lol
I'm an 8 year transplant, that use to work in the NOLA tourism industry. So that's the best I can do
@@AirWorthyTours That'll work!!
The north shore is metro New Orleans too, btw.
Yes and No.
thanks for the video :D i find lake Pontchartrain really interesting ! even im from Norway :)
Thank you for watching, and I can't wait to do an aerial tour of Norway!
2:05 you gotta be bold to live in southern Louisiana & surrounded by water. I’m sure they have flood insurance
😂😂 I grew up at the tip of the toe, Plaquemones Parrish in the swamps. 😊
No flood insurance since hurricane Katrina😢
And alligators
@@youraveragejoe2 alligators will always be in the swamps💞

You need to comeback soon! You know I will point you in the right direction :-).
I remember that bridge
hey nicely done! would it be okay if i could repost some of the shots on tiktok?
yea go ahead
LIKED!
Hey mate, can I use some of the clips of your video for my channel?
If you could donate to the channel, I would approve it of the use.
taking a road trip with friends to NOLA, stupid question but what are the chances of this bridge breaking when we drive over LOL. were super nervous
Haha..no you don't! Not sure of your direction, but if you are coming from the east or the west you're going to be on I-10, if you are coming from the north you're going to be on I-55 all these bypass the Lake.
@@AirWorthyTours were coming from michigan so we definitely are going to have to come across this bridge

For sure! There’s a stretch of where you can’t see land in any direction 😅
@@AirWorthyTours EXACTLY!!! 🤣
I rode across during zeta scary stuff on the twin span
nice!
Thanks for watching!
👍🏽👍🏽
IN-CREDIBLE VIDEO!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Is earth flat?
if you look at a small tiny tiny bit of it like this then of course it would look so.
Bridge gives me anxiety attacks! Probably of how long it is, just looks like it’s an never ending bridge.
I know! But I feel like it gets shorter each time you drive it 😅
@@AirWorthyTours Yea
wow that’s the wrong bridge to get a flat on
Seriously!
2:50 wow that is over 20 miles, and yet there is no curvature, this is a conclusive evidence of flat earth
That's because the drone is not at sea level. 🙃
@AaronBallistic coping and seething LMAO,at whatever elevation, the curve should be seen,if you look at a ball curve this close where it shows z Axis line of the ball that IS going to show some curve, even if u elevate the sight point higher
Awesome proof of the flat and stationary earth.
Had no idea tge bride was so long when I first went across.
It get shorter each time 😅
Seems like a nice place to live if you can afford the housing...that is until hurricane's come then it's time to leave!!!
The condos and houses by the Lake are really nice! And the way this hurricane season is going I couldn't agree more.
LUDO anyone?
Will you please accompany me so that I can prove to my family that the lake doesn't have a curve in it?
That place was so impoverished, run down and urban. It was scary. It is t even tropical. Its just dirty and run down.
Ok.
todo plano súper que😢 que mucha gente esté ciega y creé que la tierra es una pelota😅
BINGO, FLAT EARTH IS REAL
Motionless as can be
Definitely! Too bad you can't swim in it.
I hate that bridge
