I have an IE600 and love it. There is no other IEM that sounds like this!

ie600 are definitely pretty bassy, if you want the absolute max in Bass get the ie900. I would recommend third party tips tho cause the standart ones are absolute trash (im currently using spinfit w1 they are awesome). The 900 is a bit smoother tho and tuned slightly different so if you want something a bit crisper and neutral maybe get the 600, the 900 is quite smooth even tho it has more resolution and details@@AG-en5y

I have both IE200 & IE600, and the IE900 as well. The IE600 are clearly the most balanced sounding, but I use the other two IEMs way more often. I bring the IE200 everywhere since they are supremely comfortable, and the IE900 just sound best with my EDM library, the bass is just out of this world.
Small correction, the IE600 is made in Ireland, not Germany.
We meant the housing is made in Germany 👍
All new Sennheiser flagship (including IE 900, all HD top modles 800, 820 etc.) are made in Ireland. They relocate the factories. The Ireland one has history also so they shoud know what they are doing. Mine are also made in Ireland 🙂

I just got a set of IE600 free from Sennheiser. They selected my name in their monthly raffle. They are amazing! And I thought the TW3 were the best ever until I heard these.
How do they compare with Momentum 3 tw in terms of bass? Witch one it's more bassy? Thank you!
@@Adrian_technic the IE600 have more bass and cleaner bass. I love the TW3. But the IE600 just sound cleaner. With more bass. Plus I got a iFi go DAC amplifier to plug into my phone and that made an even bigger difference in the sound.

@@Adrian_technic oh. Yes. Me too. I mostly use my TW3 especially on the go.. And I won my IE600 in the Sennheiser explorer group. They drew my name. I got lucky. And I listen to the IE600 at home mostly when I want to listen to really high quality audio and on an airplane .. they have better noise cancelling than the tw3 and they only have passive NC. It really blocks out noise. I probably wouldn't spend 699.00 on them myself, but I'll say they are with every penny if you can afford them. They were on sale recently for 499.00 I believe.
Sweet review I think that ie600 is going to be a fantastic option for many especially since it’s now on sale.

Bought the ie200 for an alternative to my etymotic er3se. I’m happy with them using dunu s&s eartips. They have a little more bass and treble than the flat etymotic which is what I was looking for. Cable is working fine for me. Very light and low profile.

@The Source Audio Video Design Group someone should show why some iem does not respond with reviewers point of view. Super reviews. He listen to music at 40db volume . So he likes graphs that are crazy in upper mids and treble . Then we got Kim he lives upper mids a lot ans he does not know the difference between a goof driver that raises the frequency by instruments instead of total graph. For me a reviewer should say. Ok. This iem is good for 60 dB volume. That's like 60% volume on a iPhone,,example. And terrible for volumes higher than 80db. Then they should talk about timbre. Everyone cares about graphs. I have around 75 irm now. Some of them I can hear the drums in a realist way. Some drivers have bass but sounds thin. Nobody talks about this things

The ie600 sounds better all round. More detail, depth, emotional engagement.
I'm using uncompressed lossless with a variety or sources (inc A&K se180baks lg v60). DACs include Chord Mojo 2 and Onix Alpha.

Hi, thanks for your video. Are the 2 cables of the IE600 compatible with the IE200? Have you noticed an audio difference between the 3.5mm unbalanced cable and the 4.4mm balanced cable?

same, I just got the edition xs, and i need something with a seal so was looking into these. The fan means i have to turn the edition xs up too loud, it starts to distort pretty early on.
@@DavidJosephBoth I went with Simgot Supermix 4, I use them more than Edition XS. Bass is more impactful and has a similar sound clarity to the XS.
can you recommend an actual cable replacement that works with the Sennheiser tube and lip. I know they are a non strandard mmcx but I dont want to order something that doesnt fit.

Experiencing the sound with Sennheiser IE600 is exactly the same sensation, except it lasts all the time while you listening your music, not only couple dozens of minutes.
It’s expensive IEM but after purchasing them and listen your music library you almost feel guilty that you paid much less than they actually sounds.
Great review btw, especially your thoughts about IE600 matching mine. I haven’t heard IE200 but I can sense the difference comparing IE600 to my IE100PRO which I think that for the money they are the best price performance IEM in my collection, except of course the IE600 ;) cheers 🍻

With respect, when one opens your video the 600 should be on the left whilst the 200, on the right.
The two headsets appear to be totally different where materials are concerned and build quality.
In the beginning, the 600 was intended for ( Pro…) musicians to use on stage.
Only a mean studio, club or concert venue engineer would invest in the cheaper 200 version!
And the 900 is on another level as is the older 100 version which is not worthy of a mention her…
The 200 is aimed at the masses and would probably not appreciate half of the good info you mentioned.
Nevertheless, without it, most would overlook the 600 due to its high price.
