I don't know about 2023 model, but there is zero "mush" in 2024 hybrid - very solid and responsive. I doubt that they made any crucial upgrades to the braking system in 2024. I sold my Acura RDX 2021 to get CR-V Hybrid EXL 2024, in order to save on gas and have a more spacious cabin. So far it works for me, even though it is less agile than RDX even in the hybrid Sport mode (comparable). But who cares? Eco mode, which everyone curse is actually very good in the city traffic situation (stop and go) and horrible on the highway. Just switch it to Sport when you getting on the highway and you are fine.

I’m so glad I bought the Toyota RAV4 instead of a CRV. Honda should never have gone to dinky turbocharged engines over the proven beefier 4 cylinders. And as far as the hybrids, you can keep those. No hybrid for me.
Antiquated drive shaft, instead of electric motor rear drive, no rear regen braking, overly complex trans with 2 clutches, vs Toyota with last forever, simple, planetary. Hybrid battery location looks like an afterthought with a lot of wasted space. Easy to see they are not Toyota.

Well, I absolutely love my 2023 CR V Hybrid Sport Touring, AND, my wife loves HER'S as well ... that's right ... His & Her's CR V Hybrid Sport Touring SUV's in our garage! I quit watching this video when the idiot said the electric motor was on the rear axel. That is just WRONG! If you are going to make a video review, don't expect any RESPECT, if you don't do your homework. The AWD Sport Touring has TWO electric motors, and they are both UNDER THE HOOD. One motor is rated at 181hp, and the other works more like a generator to power that motor as well as charge the high voltage battery, which is located under the rear cargo floor. I would like for it to have a plug-in, as most of my round trip driving is under 10 miles. I would only use the ICE under hard acceleration, which this vehicle will do with gusto, when asked.
I love my 2023 CRV Hybrid all wheel drive. Butterly smooth power delivery, quiet, simple and refined. Probably the best hybrid vehicle in the market. The Toyota hybrids are very noisy and unpleasant to drive.

All reviewers of the 2023 gas Honda CRV are totally out to lunch when describing a “sluggish” start off the line. I’m in “ Econ “ mode 99% of the time and have Nil problems accelerating! Let me offer this advice to those mis-informed reviewers. DON’T TROMP THE ACCELERATOR UPON leaving a stop light nimrod! Any questions so far? Regarding noise at highway speed upon hard acceleration -ya right for what all of 2.5 or three seconds. Ease into the acceleration (yes for one second more OH NO) and then press the accelerator a bit more than normal. Now if you think the CRV trans is noisy, get into the 23 RAV4 and tromp the accelerator. Now that’s noisy! If you feel someone is tailgating you & you really need to get a move on tap the gear selector to “Normal” or drop the gear shift into “Sport mode!” Any more questions? I’ve enjoyed my 23 EX-L CRV since last October. I was told by 10000 k’s I’d get better gas mileage. Not only am I getting better fuel economy, I’m consistently getting 33+ Imperial MPG C the air conditioning on in city driving!! I can’t think of why I’d put out the outrageous $6000 more for the 23 CRV TOURING HYBRID. Go Ni

I bought a used Honda under 12,000 miles and under 3 years. They won’t put me in their system in case i ever need to use the factory warranty. Please help. Who exactly do i contact at Honda. Noone will help
There’s almost as many pictures of the previous generation as the new one. Who does your video editing?
I’m so glad I bought the Toyota RAV4 instead of a CRV. Honda should never have gone to dinky turbocharged engines over the proven beefier 4 cylinders. And as far as the hybrids, you can keep those. No hybrid for me.
ROFL
Antiquated drive shaft, instead of electric motor rear drive, no rear regen braking, overly complex trans with 2 clutches, vs Toyota with last forever, simple, planetary. Hybrid battery location looks like an afterthought with a lot of wasted space. Easy to see they are not Toyota.
The 2023 HONDA CR-V HYBRID STILL beats ANY OTHER SUV in the same category.
People might disagree with me, but I driven the 2022 Honda CR-V hybrid. Now, I drive the 2023 Honda CRV hybrid sport. I like the push-button transmission... it didn't really bother me... I pretty much mastered it!
RAV4: front tires slip if accelerating hard.
Thanks for sharing.💞
I'm a vezel/hrv e:hev owner an I get 22 kmpl and I love this car...
I love my 2023 CRV Hybrid all wheel drive. Butterly smooth power delivery, quiet, simple and refined. Probably the best hybrid vehicle in the market. The Toyota hybrids are very noisy and unpleasant to drive.
I love my crv touring 2024
Let see if Honda recall the new CR-V 2023. But many people bought this new model ?
I have the CRV 2024 Hybrid Sport model and it is great 👍
where is the location of air filter in CRV-hybrid 2023 ?
Electric motor on the rear axle? Wrong.
Something is suspicious why honda didn’t make! Any Sport Touring model or sport trim on Non Hybrid model? Is sucks! They forced to get the best trim on hybrid im Old gas school I don’t trust on Hybrid on long term to buy my next. Car now im so stuck making the decision between CRV and Have The Civic again 🙄 and I really want the CRV on Sport Touring but Not Hybrid
There are more Honda CR-V’s on the road than there are Toyota RAV4’s from what I see driving on the road for hours daily, let alone ay other automaker.
1:41 electric motor on the back axle ???
We’re is the temperature engine don’t have meter and light very dangerous temperature engine big mistake honda
Lacks power climbing up hill! Room Reva high 😢
Go Ni
Honda & Toyota Hybrid , Nothing Else.
UA-cam would not be UA-cam without certain stupid people making certain stupid videos. It’s all good the 2023 and newer Crv is an amazing vehicle that actually drives and rides. It even sounds better on the inside than the new RAV4 along with a Bose audio that’s amazing for the money… Do not believe this entire video. I bought one two weeks ago and it’s amazing and I’m going to go buy another one because it’s so good.
thought 23' cr v hybrid only fwd you have to get touring for awd
I only buy Toyota regardless. Toyota is better bet than all others. My current Toyota is 18 years old with 324K miles still running strong without having to replace anything major.
Not gonna keep it after 10 years.
I know it still work, but a car is not just about running strong.
@@syle3668 yea how else can you flex on your neighbors that dont give a shit about you.
I'm right there with you. 2001 civic lx. Currently with 318k a 1997 CRV with 290k. I have a 2019 Type R. I keep these cars as my beaters/commuters. They're hand-me-downs. Now in the market for a Hybrid.
I'd buy one but there are none to buy. 2-3 year wait lol.
Honda provides more driving comfort compared to Toyota.
Hate the service department at my stealership
Who in their right mind to take a CRV off road? That is what Jeep Wrangler is for. With that said, our Jeep Wrangler JL engaged in 4WD ONCE in the past 5 years, it stays on pavement 99.999% of time except once it was parked next to a beach…😮
The look is what matters, the hauling job in our family is mostly carried out by our Honda Passport
Doesn’t seem to understand what this video is trying to say…..
Sponsored by Toyota.
only have FWD. 36.2 mpg. 75 mph highway. city sometimes 75 mph. jk.
Go with the 2.0 liter engine in CR V .
Is 1.5 turbo is not good?
2024 toyota rav4 prime
OMG SHOCKING!!!! ! ! ! ! !. I really couldn't care less. It's a great car. Sensationalized horse dooky.
I like that the video intro has a old guy with horrible teeth.
Fraud bad for click reported.
… buttt can this thing go off-road for reals? That’s the bummer part, I’m down for the fuel economy but I need to have confidence that a vehicle I drive in the middle of nowhere will do fine off road. Fingers crossed 🤞
Perfect suv
I like the design but I hardly see the new cr-v’s on the road. I guess people aren’t buying them, it’s probably a great car though
Is the wait time! I was going to wait on mine for almost 3-6 months but ended getting before because i change my color preferences! I was waiting for all black/ and black rims ended up going for a red one instead
@@marielhernandez55 oh I see, red is nice too
I actually like that. I don't see many on the road..... If I decide to get one. Those rav 4s are everywhere... Huge Toyota fan, but they are cramped and uncomfortable.... Which is becoming more important To me
@@miragexl007 have you tried checking out the Highlander hybrid? It’s a smoother ride than the rav 4 and more spacious. I am currently looking at one right now
What a waste of time this video is
Liar
ANY subaru would easily embarrass this Honda in hard going conditions..............Paul
subaru is shite. For nerds. CVTs are horrible.
😂 what a mess of a video!
Setzen....Note 6
Honda hattet
This refresh just keep on disappoint
Yeah. Not good for the crv
