It's a real shame this series died before the Earth-Romulan War, especially considering it was originally menat to be about it. I would have exploded in a puff of logic to see Shran and Archer fight Romulans.
I thought Enterprise and Deep Space Nine were the best of the lot. I like the original of course but the first four films were much better than the very dated look of the TV series. In my opinion just like the original TV series, DS9 and Enterprise had the most believable crews. Nothing wrong with TNG but its not as good as the 3 I favor. I dont even want to talk about Voyager, what really finished it for me was that ridiculous episode with the totally unreal holodeck field extended way beyond believability. You can play a bit fast and loose with 'suspension of disbelief' but that was really ridiculous. I didnt like the crew much either.
I liked all the five series, but have the same three favorites you have. And the captains of the three series (Archer, Kirk and Sisko) are my three favorite captains. I have no single favorite among the three as I think they are all legendary in different ways.
Couldn't agree with you more. Enterprise and DS9 was way more believable than the others TNG was alright because there weren't many good SciFi weekly shows on at that time. It helped pass the time until better series came out. Voyager was a total borefest. It could never make it's mind up on what it wanted to be.
I'm on S3EP20 and I totally agree with black star it should have gone for a couple more seasons. I was heartbroken by EP19 when Capt. Archer stole the warp coil from those alien non-combatants ship. I hope the scriptwriters fixed this moral failing by Archer and his crew later on.
Enterprise may have had its ups and downs, but I thought this episode was one of their better moments. And then they followed it up with an out of nowhere time travelling alien space Nazis on Earth episode...I thought it was an interesting but ok episode, but it was so random.
What always bugged me was the fact there was no single ship near Earth when this superweapon arrived. Surely on Earth they were aware of the situation and even the Vulcans could have send a dozen of ships to protect Earth. And Earth itself had other vessels as well. Where were they? And why wasn't that Verteron array (we see in season 4) on Mars not used? That array had enough power to destroy half the moon.
The ships is a valid point. The Verteron array depends on where Mars is on its orbit as to if it'd be any use. (Plus aiming a weapon at a target 2 light minutes away would be tricky as hell)
Earth's starships (a few warp 2 patrol ships) were obviously out of position. I have 2 hypothesis. Either they were simply out of position [after all, Xindi vortex technology is fairly unfamiliar], or they were escorting an evacuation convoy
At this point Starfleet only had the Enterprise, The Columbia (both Warp 5), an Intrepid-class, and some transports- and the USS Intrepid was the closest to Earth.
Robert Simmons Surely speed is not the most relevant considering the weapon is being brought to earth rather than us going to it? Surely they could have constructed a decent orbital defence system by now?
They do! They simply changed the name to "structural integrity field" or SIF. By the 24th century, every Starfleet ship has a SIF in addition to hull armor and deflector shields. Weapon power increased drastically to match advancements in defensive technology, so taking hits without shields is still a pretty undesirable scenario, even with SIFs.
Enterprise got better and better with each new season and should had at Jesse another two or three to tell story of birth of coalition of planets, earth romulan war and foundation of the federation.
Did anyone catch these aliens in another movie not star trek but a comedy about a tv show of aliens like star trek. Can anyone gess the name of the movie.
The Enterprise series was doomed due to Star Trek fatigue (it was a real thing at the time) and the network it was on. but the Xindi arc was one of the best in Star Trek lore.
This series deserved at least a couple more seasons, and an honorable finish. Instead of getting the Earth-Romulan war, and decades of frontier conflict with the Klingons, all we got was a backalley coathanger-abortion performed by Riker and Troi. I have never forgiven the franchise for this, and I have never forgiven those two ‘actors’ for participating in it. TNG-castedTrek and all the WokeTrek that followed haven’t gotten Dollar One from me since then. I don’t own any of it. I WON’T own any of it. I wont give them another iota of my finite viewing-time. I’ll never spend another dime supporting that franchise until they make good on their promise to the fans and give the first Enterprise a proper finish to her story arc. REBOOT.

I like the Vulcans and Andorians-like Shran-better. I also liked Jhamel too. Not sure about the Tellarites (heck, even T'Pol stayed her distance from them), but Degra and the Aquatics were greater in the end.
0:11 Ayy it's palpatine
Dominic Cingoranelli
I am the senate.
Where was Shran when this went down? Surely a couple of Andorian Kumari-class warships would be of help here
I had to look it up as it's been awhile but Shran shows up in the next episode, unexpectedly, in the defense of Earth.
Why do the Arboreal ships look like the Tellarite Kehra-class ships?
I know 3 or maybe 4-5 actors who have played these Xindi species, who also have played characters in Star Trek Voyager series, such as Scott MacDonald, Rick Worthy, Randy Oglesby and Tucker Smallwood ☺
Where was Earth's defense? They knew it was coming? Where was that Vulcan Armada?
I'm on S3EP20 and I totally agree with black star it should have gone for a couple more seasons. I was heartbroken by EP19 when Capt. Archer stole the warp coil from those alien non-combatants ship. I hope the scriptwriters fixed this moral failing by Archer and his crew later on.
It was necessary brutality. It was take their warp coil risk all their lives or risk the destruction of Earth and risk the lives of billions
Would of liked to see earth romulin war
Is this Galaxy Quest?
Enterprise may have had its ups and downs, but I thought this episode was one of their better moments. And then they followed it up with an out of nowhere time travelling alien space Nazis on Earth episode...I thought it was an interesting but ok episode, but it was so random.
Sir, our steam pipes have been ruptured again!
What happened after this?
Well at least Shran and the Andorians showed up to the fight. Take that, Vulcans.
Earth's starships (a few warp 2 patrol ships) were obviously out of position. I have 2 hypothesis. Either they were simply out of position [after all, Xindi vortex technology is fairly unfamiliar], or they were escorting an evacuation convoy
yup i thought same thing ,,,,only for a dozzen other episodes across the entire franchise
Wonder what they would have done for season 3 before thinking of the Xindi stuff?
It says "full episodes" ....but where are they?
No, no full episodes. Just the biggest battle in season 3. But Netflix has all the seasons right now.
Brian Perhai yes, I saw that they have them. ..I was really hoping I could get episodes for free...guess I can't.
There ua-cam.com/video/dQw4w9WgXcQ/v-deo.html
One vortex, two vortices.
"open the vortex... Set the cours for earth"!!!
Was that an early borg sphere?
I miss this show.
I have a small question? Where is star fleet? Or star fleet consist of only 1 ship?
ummm thats trek lol and yea theere was soo little star fleet because no federation
At this point Starfleet only had the Enterprise, The Columbia (both Warp 5), an Intrepid-class, and some transports- and the USS Intrepid was the closest to Earth.
For one second , space above and beyond vibes.
Some of the graphics are good
Feels like voyager.
Xindi Aquatic Crusier vs Imperial Star Destroyer! Who would win?
Where the fuck are all the other earth ships?! Surely they've had long enough to build more and prepare an adequate defence of the earth?!
max speed on most vessels is warp 4. at this point their is two warp 5s
i think its a question of time more than anything
Robert Simmons Surely speed is not the most relevant considering the weapon is being brought to earth rather than us going to it? Surely they could have constructed a decent orbital defence system by now?
Watch the series, the creatures from the expanse are more advanced. The NX-01 is the fastest Earth ship at the time and the only one this far out.
Alex Ball Poor response. Please don't comment again.
Don't like it? Oh well.
Yeah There Should Have Been A Season 5 of Star Trek Enterprise it Would Have Been Epic or Something
This in STAR TREK
WONDERFUL
Invisibility is just not a concept but infact a reality which can not be denied 🛰
Please tell me why starfleet didn't use hull polarization as Armer
ONE OF THE ALIENS WAS IN SPACE ABOVE AND BEYOND, COMMODORE ROSS I THINK HE WAS
never left this world
This was a great story, probably the best of the series. This was pure scifi IMO, little of that "Gee, Captain, there's bad people??" stuff. Ugh.
The Aquatic ship looks like a Babylon 5 White Star.
And Arboreal ships are the spitting image of Tellarite ships, why?
Wow amazing 🤔
Enterprise got better and better with each new season and should had at Jesse another two or three to tell story of birth of coalition of planets, earth romulan war and foundation of the federation.
.....The Xindi look actually BETTER then the 'Klingons' from the latest STD travesty..
The big green lights are obviously weak points you have to target.
Like with most computer games , *Shoot The Cores!*
I liked Enterprise.
After watching new Trek ? I liked it even more
Good
Did anyone catch these aliens in another movie not star trek but a comedy about a tv show of aliens like star trek. Can anyone gess the name of the movie.
The Enterprise series was doomed due to Star Trek fatigue (it was a real thing at the time) and the network it was on. but the Xindi arc was one of the best in Star Trek lore.
This Enterprise is fawl!
Where's Mathazar?
Never got into this show even though I love Star Trek, but, Galaxy Quest wants its villain aliens back.
REBOOT.
