I started learning Elementor last year and love it. I have acquired a project to update my sister's website and it was constructed with WP Bakery, therefore I am starting to learn how to use it. Having the skill to work with both page builders will be great. Thanks for the video.
Hi @eephilosophy Yes! I couldn't agree more! WordPress offers many types of builders and it's helpful to be knowledgeable in different types so you can use more themes. Thanks for the comment and for watching the video!
Amazing Amazing Amazing! Really well put together, thanks for having me on your channel. It was great fun. Weirdly, I hadn't even heard of WP Bakery before you mentioned it. I will definitely give it a go when I build a new site - just as a little challenge!
John I loved colloborating with you! Thank you SO MUCH for being on the channel! It was a ton of fun! And great, I think you would love WP Bakery. I'll have to check out Elementor.
I used Elementor and Divi a lot, they are excellent! I currently use Brizy which is very easy to create and develop websites. Clean and highly dynamic. I read a lot about WP Bakery, it has a lot of history, it was Visual Composer and today it is WP Bakery! I'll try with him, I liked what I watched.
I agree for someone who is a designer or not a coder to use elementor but for someone who is working on a complex website with multiple integrations I would say WPBakery is much much better.
Of course! A theme is the layout, pictures, typography, etc. of a site. So, the general look and feel. Page builders are the tools you use to build the site. So you'll notice in the video you'll see portions that look like blocks and that's how sites are built with page builders. I hope that answers your question. Let me know if I can be any more help!
I used wp bakery for 1 year but now I'm using elementor permanently.. Elementor make work faster and we can do everything with combination of other plugin like AFC.
After a few years I’m starting to favor Elementor now. They seem to have better support with WordPress. While I haven’t checked the stats on load time I’m willing to bet Elementor is faster due to support alone. But there are a lot of factors that affect site speed. Having minified code is definitely one of those though.
@@rafsanjawad108 Sure. Though Elementor is great. Outside of it's mobile settings available in the free version, and a few advanced settings in the free version, I don't see where it exceeds WP Bakery. WP Bakery has better integration with other plugins like Woocommerce for example. I think many of the elements are better constructed and more creative depending on what kind of site you are building. Even custom post types like portfolios, team members, testimonials, galleries, are better in WP Bakery in my opinion. Also, it doesn't have nearly the amount of issues with things like Yoast and automatic post notifications as you have Elementor. Because Elementor is so intrusive, many core WordPress operations don't work without customization. For example, If you build a page in elementor and don't select a featured image and you paste the link in Facebook, he link will show a default empty image. It doesn't gel well in that manner. I will give you that it's a slightly more advanced version of Weebly so newer website builders may find it easy, but it's not necessarily the best in my opinion. I do use it pretty frequently in my work though.
@@TerryCarter I think why people keep liking Elementor is because they are designers with minimal code experience or no-code experience at all. They just want to drag drop elements whereas you can build a very complex website with WPBakery. You still can with elementor too but it would take forever. I use customized WPBakery 99.9% of the time.
Wp bakery and elementor are not comparable. Elementor is a website builder, ergo, you can start with a basic theme and build the header, footer and the pages ... edit I suppose global templates etc. While WPBakery is just a page builder, it doesn't do anything else to the website. If you had to compare... you should be looking at Visual Composer and Elementor.
@Eilley-official thanks for your comment. I think there’s a time and place for Shopify but WordPress will also be better in my opinion since Shopify cannot be transferred to another type of content management system which frustrates users wanting to switch to woo commerce on WordPress.
Thanks for watching! What else would you like to know about WordPress?

Thanks for watching and telling me about Brizy. I’ve never heard of it but it sparked my interest. Thanks!
do you know of any issue related to posts made with elementor not showing up if the website is seen with older OS like ios 9?
Hi Steve! Thanks for tuning in! Offhand I don’t. Sorry! Maybe Stack Overflow or Reddit has some insights.
I agree for someone who is a designer or not a coder to use elementor but for someone who is working on a complex website with multiple integrations I would say WPBakery is much much better.
So helpful ☺️ thanks!
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
I'm trying to understand what a page builder is? A theme or the mechanics of building a site.

Is there difference in terms of fasting load?

I used Bakery but I migrate to Elementor, thanks for this video.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for tuning in.
i love elementor because is well organized and easy
Awesome! Thanks for chiming in and watching the video. I keep hearing more and more good about Elementor.
I'm pretty adept with both but I prefer WP Bakery
why ? can you explain it?

Great) And very interesting. I love Elementer, but time-to-time must create sites by Elementor and Bakery.
Let's public more videos!
Right, I run into that too @Igor where I use both Elementor and WP Bakery. You are right! Thanks for tuning in!
