My first initial feeling after getting in the 2024 was that it is smaller on the inside BUT I only sat in it for about 10 min in the showroom. Looking forward to seeing more video from you.
It would be nice if instead of leaving blank buttons, like where the sway bar disconnect would be, they just made those extra Auxiliary switches. 1. It would just look better and 2. It would still give those buttons functionality.
With the prices being so high, I’m looking forward to seeing reviews of the Land Cruisers. If the Land Cruiser is way higher in quality, will probably lean towards that over the Taco. If I’m shelling out a crap ton of money I may as well go for the higher quality option.
Nice video appreciate the detailed explanation of the trim and options Just for me personally I Have a hard time Justifying that amount of money for a Truck. That’s just ME … I’m Going to look at the SR5 Trims and price it out with options and see what works; Also Toyota Increased the destination charge to almost 1500 I think for that price. Also, you should get all weather mats and depending on the trim it should be LED across-the-board.
Was looking at these and ended up getting a loaded gladiator rubicon for pretty much exactly the same money. Jeep going hard with discounts right now. Toyota hasn't realized they overpriced yet.
@TRDJon Thank you! They actually wanted the same money for a Sport S which I wasn't willing to pay that for because of resale down the line. No idea what the deal is with that. Toyota is probably not going to do big discounts because they never do, so you're safe.
NICE Job! It's about the going rate here in Canada, I will get some numbers for ya and cross shop compare! You got a nice rig there, but for the "off road" package I would think Toyota would put real skid plates under it, rather than plastic splash shields, for the Sport trim it might be okay, but not for a "off road" marketed truck! Good summary video. I like the truck.
Glad you liked it!
This is awesome man, they have sports at my local dealership but have a $5K “Zaktek” package… I told them I don’t need it and can get all of that done for a couple hundred bucks down in mexico but they’re dead set on selling it.
What’s that package?
@@TRDJon it’s a paint protection package that includes door edge guards for about 5,000 dollars. Dealer is Camelback Toyota in Phoenix
@@koehh4652$5,000 for a useless package. 😂🤣.
That’s insane
man, saving up to just pay cash for the 2025 4 runner, cannot wait
I’ve been trying to shop for a TRD Off Road myself with the premium package, really sucks that the SofTex seats only come with the premium package smh
Great video. Just subscribed. I have 2021 TRD Pro DB LB, just sat in a 2024 TRD Off road...I felt like the 2024 is more narrow? not sure.. My first initial feeling after getting in the 2024 was that it is smaller on the inside BUT I only sat in it for about 10 min in the showroom. Looking forward to seeing more video from you.
Weird. I feel the opposite. Thanks for the sub!
It would be nice if instead of leaving blank buttons, like where the sway bar disconnect would be, they just made those extra Auxiliary switches. 1. It would just look better and 2. It would still give those buttons functionality.
TRD Off-Road here locally one at 48k another at 57k. Of course +TTL
With the prices being so high, I’m looking forward to seeing reviews of the Land Cruisers. If the Land Cruiser is way higher in quality, will probably lean towards that over the Taco. If I’m shelling out a crap ton of money I may as well go for the higher quality option.
Getting a TRD pro bro! Im pumped.
Nice video appreciate the detailed explanation of the trim and options
Just for me personally I Have a hard time
Justifying that amount of money for a Truck.
That’s just ME … I’m Going to look at the SR5
Trims and price it out with options and see what works; Also Toyota
Increased the destination charge to almost 1500 I think for that price. Also, you should get all weather mats and depending on the trim it should be LED across-the-board.
Yea I agree. Or carpet mats at least
the colour is amazing espically for a non metallic ! reminds me of Ral 7016 Anthracite grey
I am now on the Buyers list with Derrick Young for the Land Cruiser.
Dude nice! I hope they get one for you all!
@@TRDJon If Derrick comes thru and you would like to meet me there to use this vehicle to make a video, you are welcome to do so.
My plan is to wait a couple years and get the OTD price at msrp or lower.
Polished bead lock with that color 🔥
They're doing 10% below MSRP now in January 2025 and special S3k down and mid $300/month for 36 month lease deals!
Was looking at these and ended up getting a loaded gladiator rubicon for pretty much exactly the same money. Jeep going hard with discounts right now. Toyota hasn't realized they overpriced yet.
Hopefully those major discounts arent too hindering for resale. I hope you enjoy it. Congrats!
I like Royal Blue accents myself! Cheers man! can't wait to see the next step!
Yes let me know how everything compares with CA to us. I like seeing your posts on IG
8.7 apr is killing it huh
No?
This video just makes me more impatient for OR Premium which is on hold with Sway Bar Disconnect
It's been 2 months since this video came out. How is your Tacoma doing. Is the new Tacoma good for people who are 5'11 240?
Your honesty is admirable, it's not often you get a person who shares his numbers with the public. The truck is awesome! I am so tempted to trade my 23 Trail, but will wait until end of the year, however good luck and look forward to your videos.
You should go with like an Africa Twin dark copper color for the wheels. I think that'd look much better than blue!
I love it 🤷🏻♂️ I hope it’s a rock solid truck because I want one 💁🏻♂️
It looks bigger than last gen but I can’t tell where 🤔
I wonder if the new 4runner is going to be in this price range....
I see it being yes. It is already close to it for a TRD ORP
@@TRDJon what is a TRD ORP? Is that a new model?
If and when you change out turn signals for LED please post process
Natural light shows the true color.
Agreed
Naty Light 😂
When you like something and you can afford it ,go ahead nice truck .
Thanks man
Order mine the beginning of Feb and it came in last week. Signed the papers and drove it home. Next day tried to take it out for a drive and it would not crane over. Dealership came and picked it up and they have had it since last Tues. Something is draining the battery and they have no idea what. I am so pissed. If i didn't get an answer tomorrow I'll be calling corporate and demanding a new replacement Tacoma!
Sorry to hear. Hopefully you get it worked out
Dang, that truck threw a nice rooster tail! Thanks for the video
I must be the only Hagler left. My last tacoma was marked up to $45k and they called me A week later and said they will except my $37500 offer . Long bed loaded toyoguard platinum. I dint pay any service for 4 years!
Nice!!!
At least you are getting earnings from your tacoma. I never got in the UA-cam social media game and probably should've with all the mods I have added.$$$
Never to late
How do feel about the short bed vs the long bed you had? Is it worth losing the extra foot for more nimbleness or do you miss it?
for me having a tundra with a longer bed i'm good. But if I didn't and I needed it for truck stuff then I would consider a longer bed.
@@TRDJon gotcha thanks! Favorite between the tundra and Tacoma?
Think they QC check has to do w/ the front Diff. TFL was testing one offroad and the front Diff exploded due to an internal failure on a part designed to fail but should not have under what they were doing.
Just bought a 24 premium off-road myself. No regrets. Amazing truck. Brokies will complain about price. When you make good life choices, have a good work ethic, it’s amazing what you can afford in life
I hung up on the 8.7% interest rate...enjoy the truck
Thanks
