Fab video many many thanks - curse you though lol you’ve just about covered the jobs I have left to do on mine (there goes a weekend ha) and you detailed the part numbers too brilliant. I too went for the aftermarket boot seal my dealer wanted 450 which is criminal. Great tip on the light bulbs just ordered those - I’d already done my door cards and moisture seal - surprised you didn’t grease up the window winder mechanisms whilst you were in there. Your radiator grille looked great after treatment - wish me luck replacing the cracked vent surround. Keep up the great content you cover the unexceptional and car shows so well with stellar knowledge and have a real niche there - great work.
Many thanks, sometimes some small changes have a big impact but the event spurred me on the get them completed.

A2018301054, suggest you buy either from Mercedes-Benz dealer who still listed them when I last checked, or as I did from Jasmine Adams www.fraubenz.com, there is also someone on the FB 190E group selling 3D printed versions of the side vents and other trim parts.
@@Lot76CARS fantastic thanks so much Simon I’ll pursue these avenues as naturally I’m expecting to re-mortgage my house to buy the vent trim from Mercedes 😳😂
@@RuperScooper to be fair I think they are £143 from memory but used ones can fracture due to age… hence due to the time I had I went the cautious genuine OEM route.

A2018301054, suggest you buy from Mercedes-Benz dealer who still listed them when I last checked, used are 50% less BUT brittle… and there is a guy on the FB 190E group who 3D prints them too.

Not sure you could ever call a Mercedes Benz " unexceptional". "FOTU" is an oddball car show. I still don't see the appeal of base spec bang average cars but there's a bum for every seat as they say. Nice to see yours getting into a Concours and now you own a show car !
I’m still surprised that they selected any Merc to go into the concours and I’m eternally grateful that mine was the one! There is some strange appeal about the base spec cars.., someone last year removing a passenger door mirror as it wasn’t standard springs to mind….. but for me it the rare but often low value stuff that appeals!
