I remember this time in UK music, it's when them, Canterbury, YMA6 and Futures all wanted their new albums to sound 'big and epic'. I didn't like it to be honest preferred their old stuff (as cliché as that sounds)
They do sound tired....I think they're having sound issues though because Gustav keeps adjusting his ear piece thing and the monitor thingy hooked to his pants. They really are an underrated band though.
By listening to Young Guns quite a lot and being there at Reading Festival one thing is quite clear to me. That's how much like Josh from YMA6 Gustav is trying to be. It's just pathetic and he really needs to find his own style...

Its a bit annoying when there's only like a quarter of the crowd bouncing, if you like the band or not you join in because its part of the atmosphere.
Gustav's voice may not sound as great as normal here, but I can vouch that wasn't a problem at Leeds. But then that was two days earlier...
I was actually there and his voice sounded really good, they were incredible! But watching it back, he sound a bit strained

what's wrong with the vocalist ? i've heard them live before and he was awesome, not quite like this
He's got a really powerful voice but I think he really overstrains it sometimes
Dan I thought so, saw them at reading 2011 and he was spot on
I've seen them live at a really small venue and he was there too aha. They've also ben recording a lot so his voice may be worn out a little right now
saw them two years ago and he was as good as he is on studio, i guess he may have been tired or something
I find the whole sound too well...
