excellent tutorial of combination of Felt and AE. People know the power of Felt but don't know how to release it, please keep updating such combination applications.
I literally just spent two hours trying to figure this out. Never realized there was another opacity slider for the printout. Thank you man, I needed it.
Another way to extract a feature from a layer is select the feature, click edit menu top left of screen, hit copy then hit paste as new layer, or control C and shift control P.. Nice vid by the way!
Hi ! im loving your content. Great work ! To filter brazil, Jus right click on worldmap, Then go to filter, on filter experssion ==> "NAME" = 'Brazil' . It gonna give you just the boundary of brazil.
This is super great to know, thank you! One thing that bugged me though was audio-to-video sync mismatch, ha! Make sure its not your editing template as well as never trust audio syncronization in Premiere blindly:)
Ah yeah my bad. Annoying workflow obstacles. Started trying something new, and this is an issue. Trying to save storage space by recording my camera directly to my local drive. So tired of copying files from an external card. Clearly it's not working.
@@BooneLovesVideo I hear you! These workarounds for dealing with files are so annoying - when something you expect should be working by default, sometimes backfires - as you expect it to be working, so why it should not:))
Indeed! As I mention in the tutorial, just export these features as Geojsons for a GEOlayers workflow. I'll definitely do another tutorial focusing on that.
you think there would be an option to export a pre-designed map where you just choose the countries you want to see exported separately from a pull-down instead of having to create views with selected countries...? btw, thanks for this video!
Hey Boone, I have one question in my mind how Reallifelore editors show demographic data of any country in map in Geolayers 3 is there any shortcuts and anything else?
Im really good with illustrator, but when i draw countries with geolayers and use overlord to send them to illustrator, it doesn’t work, it does open a new layer and all in illustrator but its empty, i tried duplicating the shape layer in ae and sending that one to illustrator and it kinda works, but it sends the shape without fill nor stroke to illustrator and in a complete different size as it is in ae… haven’t figured out how to fix it
Exactly my point in this video. Things always get super confusing and convoluted when you bring in Illustrator. It always just "kinda" works. Especially with GEOlayers, as everything is parented and linked up. Sending it via Overlord breaks everything. 😦

How about workflow from QGIS and GEOlayer 3, I think we can utilize the features of QGIS to use with Geolayer 3.
