That's what I wanted when it was just Fallout 3 for the latest game. Now I want it to just be easier to team up and have a bigger active fan base. Maybe make it easier to understand the reputation mechanics
Fallout 76 wasn't review bombed on Steam. It launched on the Bethesda launcher. It didn't come to Steam until much later. The Bethesda launcher was sunset in May of 2022.
Same here. I was extremely surprised and did two playthroughs before quitting. As to inventory management, that was why they had their 'club' which had that outrageous monthly fee (unlimited storage plus other things). Mind you, they have enough stash space to play the game easily, but you had to limit the hording. Apparently it was way worse when it was first released. I think instead of 1200 pounds it was 300 or so. Luckily they wised up.
Same. Paid for fallout 1st. Worth it imo as you get lots of atoms for the shop. Got the game for free, so why not? Dumped tons of hours into the game and have fun with my friends. Knew the game would be dog doodoo prior to release so waited until 2023 to try it out. Still will never understand why anyone purchased it full price at release when it was so obvious it was a mess.
Inventory management like equipment load? or more like loot categories? because equipment load becomes better when you have a power armor, you gain 100-150 "lbs" in terms of loot categories I can perfectly understand that, the UI is really 2016ish theres a ton of furniture that can help seperate your loot, like a display furnite thingy (sorry im french canadian) ex : the comics can be demonstrated to everyone and so is the power armor theres a ton of ways to fold your loot correctly at the right place also in this game, dont be a loot goblin, you will become overencumbered really quickly
Yeaa they locked inventory behind subscription. 1200 pounds in space without fallout first. With fallout first sub.. It's nearly unlimited space. Sad. But the game is fine now. I'm playing it level 102 now
@@rd0676The game feels Minecrafty, except fallout guns gear and mobs, with minimal griefers and lots of endgame rerolling enchantments on gear. So for the most part you only come across players when they fast travel to your base to look what you selling and for Co-op events where you are happy they are desperately trying to show off how strong they are because they practically guarantee event rewards for you. To be fair, if they are lv 1000 maxed out with perfect stat full legendary gear, it is probably due to how long they played rather than how much they spent, and they probably reached that point to show off in co-op rather then to harass low lv players.
Kill me too. I enjoy the heck outta 76, alone and with fiends. I respect the older titles, but I like playing with a lot of people. I played for a year before I got FO1st. I think I unlock just about every camp item before hand.
@@levicarpenter5509fr he’s the game dev and now a producer, the guys doesnt make those decisions end of the day and bethesda is still a company. As far as im concerned their “worst business practices” are pretty tame or one time fuck ups. They brought free modding to consoles. That’s huge.
for me it really just feels like fallout 76 is soulless compared to the other fallout games bc they really drew back on the realism, the camp building feels good but the variety of enemies that make no sense to exist is terrible i also really hate the idea of the scorched it’s just corny asf and location of a lot of things really just throw off the immersion, they shoudve added less NPCs or made added more space between them, walking thru areas that had no activity and ur the only one there really set a good apocalyptic vibe with the looting, fallout new vegas had the perfect looting system in my opinion, being able to place objects u found in the wasteland to decorate your home was amazing for the immersion, in 76 anytime u drop an item it’s sitting in a paper bag, the loot u would find on enemies in new vegas would always make a lot of sense, in 76 it seems almost randomly generated please tell me why i’m finding .45 rounds on a protectron that only uses melee
Somehthing can have a name in the title just for attention only without trying to be what the name suggests. Its not so hard to comprehend is it? Typical pattern when triying to scam people.
@@Zazu1337 it seems that you’re not comprehending the point. Putting “Fallout” in the title implies that the game will play like a Fallout game. Have elements that the fan base would typically expect from a Fallout game. Obviously a game’s title can not match up to the game itself. When they put “Fallout” in the title of a looter-shooter with a veneer of Fallout aesthetics, they knew the customers would be expecting a Fallout game that plays like previous Fallout games that Bethesda had developed. So yes, it was trying to be a Fallout game by marketing to the Fallout customers and trying to get the sales numbers a Fallout game would get.
@@Marcusianery yes, I got what he meant. Did you get that my comment was a joke to subtly call out the bullshit in his excuse? Calling it “Fallout”, is false advertising. Especially when the excuse that, “it wasn’t trying to be a Fallout game” is made AFTER the game bombs. If it’s not trying to be a Fallout game, then why put Fallout in the title? …because they want the Fallout player base to buy it, as if it were a Fallout game.
@@nicholasbullock1709 it seems that you’re not comprehending the point. Marketing to the Fallout customers and trying to get the sales numbers a Fallout game would get doesn't make it a Fallout game. Yup. As long as it didn't have MTXs, but as Bruce Nesmith said, BGS changed after millions from FO Shelter MTXs started rolling in, then BGS pivoted to mobile models.
Maybe its just that its been a long time since the launch, but I jumped into Fallout 76 about two weeks ago after finishing Fallout 4 again, and I friggin LOVE it.

Not really. The Fallout community rates Fallout 4 as one of the worst Fallout games. Mods are the only thing that saved it. Also, 76 is a multiplayer expansion for Fallout 4.
@@perceivedvelocity9914Literally the main problem people have with that game is because it's voice acted while every other game in the series isn't and it's not that big of a deal. Everything other complaint is minor or a pet peeve
@@streetside2833no, people also have a problem with the ugly and limited weapons, bad story, weak characters, weak RPG elements, tedious leveling system/perk system and boring radiant/side quests. They should’ve done at least one more big DLC. Also, many unused locations with named enemies that are just shooting galleries like Quincy for example.

Starfield is feeling very abandoned these days, still no dlc, still no creation tools, still nothing new announced for it. Fallout 4 had half it's dlc's released by now and skyrim had the creation tools.
Good luck to anyone with a new gen console playing this game. All my friends including myself would crash every hour. You would be lucky to make it through an entire public event without seeing your homescreen. Good luck if you decide to play this title
The leveling the area around me to my level killed it. I used to like being able to build my camp in low difficulty areas decked out as a base camp for new players. The sense of progression within the world is gone
As a developer I never understood Todds quote.. 16x detail just means 1k textures (Skyrim build, legacy standard) to 4k textures (past-gen standard). Clearly, that wasn't accurate. Most of the terrain is compressed to half that in the final build at release; even at highest settings.
Honestly, the map of Fallout 76 is much more detailed than that of Fallout 4, there is a lot of variety of biomes and places, so I understand why he said 16 times the detail because it is true that the map is much more detailed.
The basic problem, aside from the fact it was made by BETHESDA, was that people wanted Fallout with Multiplayer, not Multiplayer Fallout. The key difference there being that they have to make a story based game that is intended to be played solo, but with the option of multiplayer. **OPTION** to play Multiplayer. Not that hot garbage of solo player mechanics on a multiplayer game with an engine that was outdated in 2012.
@@ryangerfen7489how tho? An engine is the foundation for the game, it will allow for complex (proper) coding, physics and what you can do without overloading the server. FO76 is 100GB of nothingness with terrible gunplay, ugly graphics, terrible IA and barely to no polished interactiona
@Spinworth because it's important to understand the the engine isn't outdated. An engine is essentially just chunks of the code already written for the purpose if avoiding coding everything from scratch like they did in the old days. Differnet engines have different tools and so different engines do different things well. Thats why there are different engines in the first place and not an industry standard. There are some preferred engines, admittedly, but those engines upside is mostly graphics and physics. While those things are needed in fallout games, they aren't the priority. The priority for fallout games is keeping track of a ton of things at any given time then and adjusting accordingly. With games the size of fallout and elder scrolls games, that's especially a problem. there's so much going on that nobody has created an engine yet that can do that better than the creation engine. There's also no point in creating a "new" engine, because essentially every game they update it anyway, which is exactly what other engines do. The only real difference is that some give it a new name after an update and Bethesda doesnt.
@@ryangerfen7489 I promise you that no one is being done any favors by you excusing them using an outdated engine. They have been using this engine since at least 2002, with every new release it begs for death. No matter how many times todd lies and says they've made it better, you can still go in the code and find bugs that are 20 years old.
Its funny, I put 72 hours into Fallout 76. It was genuinely fun romping around its colorful world with my buddies, managing my power armor and exploring the actually interesting poi's and dungeons. What destroyed my motivation and made me put it down was the fact that you have to pay irl money subscription for your base to have "infinite" storage. I don't even know if that gives infinite loot storage when you pay. When having infinite storage was a normal facet of any base in Fallout 4, New Vegas and even 3. I don't know if it will ever change, but it feels crippling to have that caveat even after purchasing the game and some DLC.
I do believe it's infinite and I think along with that you actually have private server access. Making farming materials easier + own instances of cryptids.
@@DepthFromAbove I actually don't understand what you're arguing. Like obviously in real life that's completely unrealistic and unfeasible. 5:16 What else is it supposed to be...? I really don't understand points like this one. 76 is basically FO4 but with friends. It has a story, side quests, exploration, building, scavenging, guns, power armor, etc. I've been playing the game for about a month and aside from the performance issues I'm having I've been having a lot of fun.
@@rd0676 The sad thing is, that he wasn't lying. It was just completely misunderstood by people not paying attention to exactly what he was talking about and assumed "16x better graphics" In context, he was talking about the render distance/view distance on 76 compared to 4. It's roughly 4 times farther in every direction, so looking around you in the world would be "16 times the detail", 4x detail in 4 directions. In context, he's right. But it's definitely hammed up for dramatic effect given it was an announcement teaser for a game they wanted to hype.
No, it's not and no, they don't. I haven't spent a cent since purchase and have long since had way more than I need to have fun with it. Ok unless you count the stash space. That's a bit limiting, but still not a deal breaker for me.
@@pcppbadmintonit is dude. He's right. They limit almost every avenue for progression in the game, like scrip, stamps, caps, score, atoms, legendary modules and cores, rng with weapon roles, etc. And yeah definitely with the storage amount. 1200 is still laughably small given the weight things take. It fills up very quickly. These are all done to push fallout 1st memberships and atom sales for the overexpensive atomic shop. Not to mention the new scoreboard layout is just worse than before for the most part
I guess it depends on what you want out of the game. I'm not interested in the late game grind or seasons, I'm just wandering around checking out the map and doing side quests the same as I did in Fallout 3/4/NV. I've got dozens of unspent levels and I'm happy with my gear without spending any money or doing what I would consider grinding. If they're into the events, daily/weekly missions, dungeons/delves and grinding for gear then I'd argue that most people would be fairly happy with the balance.
@@gareth6525Where did you hear that lie? Except Fallout 76 has much more stable (from my hardware settings and perspective) ultra high fps than Fallout 4. But I do agree there's much left to be desired with 76.
@@jodieholmes8453 if it had millions of players, it would rival titans like wow and ff14. Stop coping and come back to reality. I disagree entirely. I’m a long time fallout fan since the launch of Tactics and it’s easily the second best of the series. Good story, best world, the base building is great to show off, and the total wealth of content is fantastic. Is it still buggy? Yeah. Does it still have many issues? Yeah. It’s the definition of a 7/10. However it’s fun and the community is truly one of the best in all of gaming. It’s wildly crazy that given the setting of Fallout that there’s this loving community that people will bend over backwards to help others. There’s no other game like it. There’s a reason people keep coming back. And my biggest problem with this video is your points against it is “this part of the game sucks because I say so”. It comes off as dishonest. On top of that I think you’ve been told yourself “it’s not a real Fallout game” where in reality it is. On launch it wasn’t, but since Wastelanders it is. Start actually enjoying the game for once and stop telling yourself you have to hate it to be “a true fallout fan”.
You forgot to mention how Bethesda removing the refuel requirements for the vertibird broke the expeditions for a bunch of people, making it so you get hard locked out of starting the mission after finishing the requirements if you've never done an expedition before. This went on for over a month for a bunch of people myself unfortunately included there
Bethesda just wanted a cash cow sequel to Fallout Shelter. Just more micro-transactions mid-tier revenue streams. Oblivion horse armor on mega steroids.
Bethesda games are dying! Starfield is a good example that with their engine and approach to quests their games are stuck in the 2010's...just with added modern AAA BS to annoy players.
As someone who spent over 1000 hours in this game and has gotten to high levels. This game isn’t about the story or quests. It’s about about playing fallout with friends and interacting with the other players in the world. Literally one of the best communities I’ve ever played with.
Fallout is about how the world rebuilt itself in silly and weird ways for survival, but perpetuating the same vicious cycle of war and greed, which is translated through quests and story. FO76 is just full of fetch-quests and poor story, the only saving grace of the game is the base-building, everything else is FO4 online
@@TheCronotrigger1212 any coop game, no matter how trash it is, is a good experience when you have friends. Actually, ANY GAME that has an online mode is better with friends, regardless of the quality, so it isn't a solid argument in favor of FO76
Fallout 76 for me was boring as hell. Even with friends the longest we lasted was about 3 hours before everyone just left. And I was just sat there with my shitty base which was abandoned. Fallout 4 was way better and I love it. The over-monetisation of 76 is definitely the single worst part of the game.
I mean for me atleast I’ve been playing with my friends and we just been doing random stuff helping each other grind good gear. We sometimes even do challenges we put on ourselves to make it fun. And we been at it for 4 months
Different stroke for different folks, something about the game got me really interested since day 1, i was lucky to not encounter tons of bugs and stuff ... or didnt notice em. 5 years later i still hop on here and there to do some boss fights and play any new content that drops. im looking forward to the map expansion
The inventory space debacle was my last straw with this game. I gave it a chance after playing the beta, saw SOME charm in it. A brand new beautiful map filled with stuff, but even I got bored without any substance to that stuff. Pete Hines telling everyone that "Inventory is a server problem and we can't increase it." And then they go back and triple it, and then offer an unlimited option if you subscribe to Fallout 1st, a subscription service for a game that was nowhere near worth paying any money passed the box price for and needed YEARS of work before it would be worth a damn. You can use your Chuck-E-Cheese analogy to spin it any way you want, but you flat out lied to your customers and sold them a solution to a problem you created. Server limitations are not you "getting sick." You can fix server limitations, you just choose not to. You can make a game worth the value, but you choose not to. You can write a good story, but again, YOU CHOOSE NOT TO. Bethesda is a lazy company and there are other games I could play and get the experience I could get from Fallout 76 that came out years before. Fallout 76 is nothing but a cash grab of a game that cares more about selling you cosmetic workshop trash than delivering a fun multiplayer fallout game that doesn't do anything with it's multiplayer aspect. You could make the game entirely single player and get the exact same experience. It's literally only multiplayer so people have an excuse to show off all the cosmetic workshop trash they actually spent money on and make them go "Huh, I want that, where can I get it?" Atom shop.
Absolutely well said man, a lot of sensible people who have had their experience with 76 have always noticed stuff like the inventory thing being aggregious, the whole game is a blatant and obvious microtransaction pay 2 win simulator
You just don’t understand server load. They’ve capped it to avoid lagging unnecessary resources & you can pay to store your unnecessary junk on private servers. I’d recommend just getting gud at inventory management & stop hoarding stuff you’ll never use.
It's one thing to say we're going to Chuck E. Cheese, but we have to delay and get to Chuck E. Cheese later. This is the nonsense Hines tries to claim happened, that it was just something unexpected that could not have been worked around. It's one thing to say we're going somewhere with pizza and games that we guess is going to be Chuck E. Cheese, but we end up going somewhere else. This is the blame that Hines is trying to put on us as the players. The famous "sorry we didn't meet your expectations," tactic. You LITERALLY promised Chuck E. Cheese, and at no point, not sooner nor later, did we end up anywhere that was somewhat Chuck E. Cheese, and later it turns out that you never planned on driving to Chuck E. Cheese to begin with. You just said it so we would clap and cheer. Just say, "plans change, my bad, I shouldn't have said those things." Take the L like an adult instead of trying to make it the consumer's fault that you said things that ended up not being true. Don't try to claim "it was semantics" because if the communication was not received clearly, you're at least 50% at fault (ie pulling a Sean Murray). Even if the people above you made the decision that made the things you said not true, just own that you said them and it was an error. You're speaking as one of the faces of the game/company, it's your role to communicate clearly and, if the audience isn't happy, it's your job to take the hits in the place of the executives that own you.
WTF has he even talking about. If he bought tickets to an NFL game and the game was 2 quarters instead of 4 he knows he would feel some kind of way and want his money back. Don't believe his BS.
The game could have been great, it's been 6 years and they still haven't fixed the bugs, textures buffer half way, freezes, crashes, reticle disappearing, whole shacks and buildings not loading, aim being broken in first person view, item/door glitches where pressing x does nothing. glitch that says pip boy not available and you can't change weapon loaded out with the D pad, This is soooo broken, it should have never been released, and this is after 6 years of time they could have made it better...
That sound like a you problem lol. I have non of these except the door problem but only with the enclave and Bos lazer doors. Sounds like you need better set up.
It would make sense if Bethesda would hand over fallout to a different studio to work on a new fallout game while their working on elder scrolls, maybe involve Tim Cain Josh Sawyer and Chris Avelone to work on it. Waiting 15 plus years for a new fallout game, and that's after elder scrolls get released is bs. Especially after the big hit of the show, they can't just let this franchise hang back while their working on the new elder scrolls game
In all honesty Bethesda as a developer should take a step back and create a new engine before developing anything. Their games feel dated in terms of gameplay and how quests work and then there are the bugs and the state Bethesda launches their games...it's painful to see them not evolving whatsoever!

Fallout 76 was my “Covid game” which was when Wastelanders dropped and 76 got significantly better. (Honestly it was probably the games best time period.) So I came in ready to dislike and be mad at this video but…he’s not wrong. It’s a Fallout flavored looter shooter, but I enjoy both of those things so I like it. While there definitely is more story to the game now it is very bland as he said. Overall, I’m impressed with his level headed take. Good video. PS the title and thumbnail are definitely click baity though (it’s not “bad” anymore but you may not like it) but I get the UA-cam game and again, it worked I clicked.
Oh yay another "fallout76 is bad" video....I picked it up a couple months ago, got over 300 hours in it, and still having a blast. If you're on the fence don't listen to the negativity, just try it for yourself. Especially on sale, 100% worth it. I've never felt the atomic shop was "pushed", I check it for my daily free item, and I never see it again. At least the Fallout 1st subscription is 100% optional, once you figure out what items you actually need, the stash space isn't that bad. It used to be way less. Other MMO's charge a monthly sub just to play. At least here it's optional.
No offense, but how about you let people that don't like bad games enjoy games that aren't bad bro. Anybody that's on the fence, like myself, really doesn't need to waste their time with this mess. 😂
I actually like Fallout 76, but i would really come to love it if didn't have unnecessary obstacles. Everything you pick up weighs 50lbs, but you can carry up to 200lbs. You need to equip cards to hold more junk, but you also need cards to hold ammo that you can't sell to npc vendors. You can store them in an ammo crate that's only available with FO1st subscription. Can't travel with too little ammo as everything takes 50 rounds just to take down. You can improve this with mutations which can cost 1700 caps, in which you're "capped" at 4000. Then you need the right armor which isn't available without ending main quest. Then you roll (depending on Legendary cores #) for the right effect for your armor, and hope for the one you need. Then there's the scoreboard challenges!? eat veggies 10 times, pick up 20 tin cans, visit a friend's camp, call your mom 🤪for 300pts! Though i enjoy the new enemies like the Scorched and the Mole Miners. And the tech is cooler by design 👍
Man, i played some fallout 76 again and after playing 300 hours i get a huge stutter ever 5m on a fairly high end rig. Nothing i have done has fixed it.
Thanks for the upgrade. I never have played Fallout 76 and it looks like i never will, nothing i hear of it interests. What i liked me about Fallout 3, New Vegas and 4 was the story and the worlds with much to explore. I played all Fallout games most as a stealth game, because i hate power armor, Fallout 4 in surrival mode in particular. So bullet sponges are absolutely not what i'm looking for.
fallout 76 died to me after they deleted legacies. The only fun part i had was the market and they decided that they didn't care. Most of my friends that I used to play with have also moved on.
I remember, I had to explain to my dumbass eX Gamer Chums. That if you remove legacies from the game, the economy of the game will collapse and guess what it did. I used to make a pretty penny selling ammo to people using legacy guns. The game is a massive flop and it should be retired permanently.
its because people who constantly complain about Bethesda have as bad a predictable and played out meme NPC dialogue ever. Bane was a funny meme 9 years ago when it was first used so obviously its suited to a crowd who bring up horse amour every conversation.
Nah, I won't forgive Bethesda for this one haha. I was so amped for the Appalachia region to be an actual RPG Fallout game and then they revealed it to be an MMO. It's a disappointment that will haunt me forever
Whats wrong with it being an MMO? if you think there is bugs there isnt, there is no more bugs that annoy you in the game, and i played a recent 2024 game (Helldivers 2) i encountered lots of annoying bugs in that game more than 76. Only bug i encountered in 76 is an audio bug where the audio seem to be muted a bit in the latest new expedition Human Condition and thats it
Most games do. At least back then, they understood the issues and corrected them quickly. Fo76 just gaslit and said the game is fine and you are wrong.
It was supposed to be a rust clone. It didn't work. They fixed it. I've been playing since day one. I take more time off these days. But the game is way better than what it was. If you play it for what it is, it's a role playing game with heavy on your imagination of how you see your play through. The thing that keeps bringing me back is the friends that I've made in the game over the years because they're the best in-game friends that I've had online since Halo 2. You get in with a good group of people that want to play the game and actually like it, that is where this game is peak performance in an experience. UA-camrs don't have friends so they don't understand... 😅

I did too and it was fun fooling around and building bases. But i still was disappointed at the sanitised storywriting when wastelanders dropped. But daily ops rectified that, because they can be pretty challenging sometimes.

All of you have undoubtedly wasted so much time on this particular game and you are all completely biased the average player who grinds this game will reach level 300 maybe before giving it up and that’s with grinding westek and boosting a few levels..I bet none of you really pvp which says that you spend almost all your time walking around looting and doing the same event over and over and over until you get that mothman lantern or chefs hat or pig mask from meat week or fuckin red dress or some other bs rare apparel.. there is nothing in this game beyond grinding for base cosmetics and gear that does absolutely nothing… you can be lvl 97 and still do mad damage to earl or scorch beats queen with a heavy weapons build…there’s literally no reason to surpass lvl 100…im lvl 300 legit and I’ve done it all nothing he said was wrong or not true…if anything it was really unbiased i not only preordered the game but I’ve played all there is to play..i have every mask every rare apparel I’ve traded for every bloodied anti armor or furious weapon to fit my build…on top of it all the grind is so bad that there’s actually a market place to pay real life money for supplies junk loot and weapons..whole discords based on trading because nobody wants to grind 6 weeks for a full brotherhood recon set
On carry weight: There are perks that take 90% weight away from almost anything. Rifles, heavy guns, meds, food, ammo, armor to name a few. Once you hit endgame you can add in these perks on top of your base build due to the Legendaries Perk Card system. Weight become practically a non-issue. It does admittedly take time to get to this point, time that a lot of people either can't or won't spend.
Weight perks are the biggest waste of resources. You can sell 1400k of materials a day & don’t need half the junk you’re storing for no reason. Inventory management is part of the skill gap.

People have such short memories nowadays, that I've seen many people unironically state that Cyberpunk 2077 had the "worst launch of all time", completely ignoring that Fallout 76 existed just a couple of years prior and not only was entirely unplayable (not just unplayable on 1 very specific and outdated console), but also scammed a lot of people out of promised merchandise - canvas bags, leaked people's personal information, overcharged people for cheap gimmicky shit like the Nuka Cola bottles, etc... Or the fact that even before that No Man's Sky existed, that while it wasn't completely broken at launch, it was because there was practically nothing TO break, since the game was lacking so much promised content and features.
@@deriononestop lying it was not look at the videos the game was unplayable despite a big 1 day patch and Bethesda scammed everyone who bought the game especially who bought the most expensive version
What a horrible take. 76 is fun as hell. The only complaint i really have is the lack of inventory space trying to force you to buy the subscription. I just make different characters for different types of builds to circumvent that and i enjoy replaying the story missions. They gave us what fans asked for. Fallout with friends. It just was launched way too early before it was ready. It's great now tho. Thanks to the show, lots more people are trying it out, which is awesome. It still sucks that this is the only new fallout we're gonna have for the next 12 or so years, but what can you do. Bethesda refuses to make more than one game at a time. So grab a friend or join a public team and come join us in Appalachia.
I don't know how people play this garbage, considering the portfolio of games available in 2024... After watching the tv show, I gave 76 a try and I only managed to push myself to lvl 16. Every aspect of that game is so outdated, seriously it's like playing a 2010 game AT BEST. Shooting and weapons feels horrible and hit registration has a slight delay. The sound is garbage as well... I mean bottom of the barrel indie stuff, where some sounds are pushed to the foreground and reloading a shotgun gives the impression that I'm somehow reloading it 2 meters behind my character. You can sprint for 5 seconds then you have to wait 10 to regen stamina. You get encumbered if you pickup 5 guns. Quests are boring AF - go to the mine and press E on a body, go back to the Q giver, go back to the mine and find a "treasure" . We need to stop buying Bethesda games at launch until they pull their act together and actually innovate and get with the times . Starfield was shit for a 2024 game too. They are lazy and bet on the fans buying everything that has their company name on it. Just get their games on key shops for 30% off or some shit.

But theres a ton of content here for new players and you can pick the game up for like $9.00 dollars on sale quite often. There is fun to be had here solo or with friends questing, trading, building, expeditions, exploring and doing events. While I wish they would bring back Nuclear Winter, I would say it’s worth it in 2024.
Played 76 like 4-5 times, every time I started having fun it was ruined by MMO features. It's still very buggy to. But as long as it pay walls the most requested features and has no modding support will make it a dog shit fallout game until that changes
What feature's? its hardly mmo trying to communicate is terrible, no true proxy chat, and no text chat even though the personal terminal description proves there was at some point. But as for their payed feature's its required because of server cost's and stability on top of funding additional content. As for a offline Solo only mode, you, I and everyone deserves that option and they could easily do that even though the game was designed to played together, mostly everything is soloable with a strong build anyways I tend to play alot on my private server so i understand...there should've to been a free offline solo mode at launch. I tried FO76 back in 2023 for the first time and it was way better than I thought. The only thing I found to be annoying was inventory management.

Knew the game would be dog doodoo prior to release so waited until 2023 to try it out. Still will never understand why anyone purchased it full price at release when it was so obvious it was a mess.
Inventory management like equipment load? or more like loot categories?
because equipment load becomes better when you have a power armor, you gain 100-150 "lbs"
in terms of loot categories I can perfectly understand that, the UI is really 2016ish
theres a ton of furniture that can help seperate your loot, like a display furnite thingy (sorry im french canadian) ex : the comics can be demonstrated to everyone and so is the power armor
theres a ton of ways to fold your loot correctly at the right place

The main problem with FO76, its build around monetization and not gameplay, they create problems to sell you a solution

People still use the fallout 76 cash store as a meme in other games.
Start actually enjoying the game for once and stop telling yourself you have to hate it to be “a true fallout fan”.
oop, i found the echo chamber.

Open up a shop ❤❤❤ I share all my stuff so I have unlimited space and Infinite caps.
You just don’t understand server load. They’ve capped it to avoid lagging unnecessary resources & you can pay to store your unnecessary junk on private servers. I’d recommend just getting gud at inventory management & stop hoarding stuff you’ll never use.
Pete Hines Chuck E Cheese analogy is still one of the most disingenuous, out of touch things I’ve ever heard come out of Bethesda.
It's definetly scripted by the PR department.
Ended up getting half cooked frozen pizza and a board game with missing pieces 😂
WTF has he even talking about. If he bought tickets to an NFL game and the game was 2 quarters instead of 4 he knows he would feel some kind of way and want his money back. Don't believe his BS.
Hines is an ass, I'm glad he's gone. Lol
The game could have been great, it's been 6 years and they still haven't fixed the bugs, textures buffer half way, freezes, crashes, reticle disappearing, whole shacks and buildings not loading, aim being broken in first person view, item/door glitches where pressing x does nothing. glitch that says pip boy not available and you can't change weapon loaded out with the D pad, This is soooo broken, it should have never been released, and this is after 6 years of time they could have made it better...
not that it effects gameplay but why does almost every female in the game look like a lesbian?
That sound like a you problem lol. I have non of these except the door problem but only with the enclave and Bos lazer doors. Sounds like you need better set up.
Nah, the game's just garbage brian. Interesting excuse though. 👍
If only they let obsidian take another crack at the franchise
In all honesty Bethesda as a developer should take a step back and create a new engine before developing anything. Shooting and weapons feels horrible and hit registration has a slight delay. The sound is garbage as well... Plus, the main story doesn’t really feel like a story at all, just a bunch of things that happened one after another. Then there’s all the carryover and callbacks from the other Fallout games, which would be fine if the game wasn't a continent removed from 1 and 2.
Fallout 76 has the nicest community in the Fallout franchise and has been building pretty good stories over the last few years.
This entire video is excess cope from Shady Sands becoming a crater.
Seriously 76 is a turd in the fallout franchise no matter how hard they tried to polish that turd it will always remains a turd no matter what.
One of the really cool aspects of this game is rhea people who don't agree with you are AWESOME and prevelant, making the game fabulous!
It's a game I play every few months. Personally I've quite enjoyed it.
I want to game to be supported for the next 5-10 years and not spend another dime past my initial purchase. Makes sense🙄
It should, plenty of normal people want that, that's what you call a proper non aggregious live service, take a look at battlefield, they do a pretty good job of that and have more success than 76, admitting you play a pay 2 win simulator doesnt make you cool
I played FO76 from beta onward for 4 years. I was a total fanboy. However, all the expeditions and pullback on seasons destroyed this game. There is nothing else to look forward to except for Fallout 5 at this point.
"16 times the detail" lol i think tod meant 16 times the disappointment
Or 16 times the weapon and armor degradation.
Fallout 76….more like Fallout seventy shits!!!
Level 600+ here. Yes. It does suck. It's slowly inching more and more into P2W territory. Scrap and ammo, two things that are essential to gameplay and take up weight towards a maximum, can be stored infinitely by paying 86.33% of a WoW subscription for this game that has
Bruh you are lvl 600+😒 you lost all right to say anything bad about the game🤣
@@WrldWideOp So are you agreeing with the idea it sucks or are you just commenting to be a dipshit? It really has gotten that much worse. I'm trying to stay on top of achievements so when this game eventually dies, I'll have more to show for it than a useless title screen. My last session was over a month ago.
I love how this comment section is filled to the brim with 99% of people that have never touched the game/played it. Acting as if they're a knowledgeable source on it. Yet if you let them speak for five minutes it's obvious they don't know how the game works at all. The game is pretty great in 2024.
No need to lie bruh...We don't touch this game because of everything we've seen and heard on youtube, plus from other people we know who played the game, friends included. I can 100% guarantee you, that if this game was great as you're claiming, we would have been playing a long time ago. But it's not sadly.
Stop Downing people for not liking bad games. A bad game is a bad game.
@@jimmyboy95 The over 30,000 people on steam charts disagree with you. That's healthier than most of these online "good games". Every person I have a conversation about the game with is fed false information about the game because the people that "everything we've seen and heard on youtube" is false information. A bad game to someone might be a good game to another, it's all a matter of opinion.
What isn't a matter of opinion though is spreading false information on the game as if it is a point of factual information when it is not. Half of these people writting hit pieces on 76 have never played the game for more than a few hours in their entire life time, then proceed to go onto the internet and regurgitate the same information from other people that also didn't play the game. Every single person that I talked to in my personal space that "didn't like the bad game because it's a bad game" and offered a 14 day game pass sub to try the game for free, ended up buying it and is still playing it to this day.
Rent gotta be due lol
Really enjoying 76. Huge improvements since launch. Hundreds of hours invested.
Same. Even got the 1st sub just to tick off everyone else.
I still can't y'all be hating on this game for this long it's gun when stuff breaks but it's getting better new updates and just more stuff to do just because you don't like a game because of something don't mean it's a bad game they fixed most of the problems so there is no point on hating on it
100 levels !? Huh, first month of 76 people were nuking and abusing the golf xp and were past level 200. Now they at 4 or 600?
IDK, I prefer 76 over 4, I don't like 4 at all, and I'm a big fan of Morrowind. 76 has flaws, yes, but it's an online multiplayer game that can never really fit the mold of a traditional BGS game. Still, for what it is I have had more fun with it than the totality of fallout 4. I rank my FO games: 2, NV, 3 and 76, 4 never made the cut for me.
5:35 the level 8 players icon is half of the problem with the PC version of the game. It's like an LGBTQ hangout.
Lmao u scared of gay people or something bro
I enjoy playing Fallout 3, New Vegas, 4 and 76. I cannot play Starfield.
why not SF? -im curious as i haven't played it at all but i too have played F3 & FNV
@@Invisus_Letumit doesn’t have enough content and the loading screens are just too much, plus it has a lot of bugs.
I had enjoyed 76, until the lack of weapon variety and unbalanced weapons and armor values.
@@NoiFoxwell they’re supposed to be fixing that with the may update and shattered space update, but that’s a sort of ‘wait to see if it’s good’ sort of thing for me
for me it really just feels like fallout 76 is soulless compared to the other fallout games bc they really drew back on the realism, the camp building feels good but the variety of enemies that make no sense to exist is terrible i also really hate the idea of the scorched it’s just corny asf
and location of a lot of things
really just throw off the immersion, they shoudve added less NPCs or made added more space between them, walking thru areas that had no activity and ur the only one there really set a good apocalyptic vibe
with the looting, fallout new vegas had the perfect looting system in my opinion, being able to place objects u found in the wasteland to decorate your home was amazing for the immersion, in 76 anytime u drop an item it’s sitting in a paper bag,
the loot u would find on enemies in new vegas would always make a lot of sense, in 76 it seems almost randomly generated please tell me why i’m finding .45 rounds on a protectron that only uses melee
I love Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4, as for Fallout 76…. Personally been playing since beta on Xbox and PC, finished all the quest-lines four separate times, at this point I am a little bored.
Patrolling Appalachia kinda makes ya wish for nuclear winter 😏
There would probably be more payed expansion's tho instead of free ones but i think alot of people be fine with that.
@@Davis-sg4mm everything fallout first offers was the most requested things before it released, better junk storage, private worlds a second camp, ECT.
aint buggy for me
Once the quests are complete and you've got what you want from the season board, what's left to play?
2-300 hours of a game you likely got for free is pretty good…
@@DepthFromAbove nope, bought the helmet edition.
If you go into 76 thinking it's a looter shooter, you will be disappointed. If you play for the live action role play then it's everything you could want in the genre.
At least for a mmo
I misread that as 'live service' and almost agreed with you for a second there...
