  • In this video we get camp cleaned up before moving on. After a short drive I arrive at a new camp at the base of a beautiful mountain range. Things are heating up in the southwest regions. Time start thinking about slowly moving north to cooler temperatures.
    Thank you for being here.
*My name is Brian. I started living full time in a self built camper van in 2014 in my hometown of San Diego, CA. I hit the road full-time in 2015 to pursue seasonal work and travel around the U.S. I find free camping on public land and enjoy photography, hiking, biking, and kayaking in nature. Join me on my adventures.
    Thanks for watching!

Cascarones. They’re eggs that are emptied out, and the shell filled with confetti. Kids play with them and have “eggshell fights” at Easter. We sometimes put taros down to reduce the mess if we’re not in our own land. Hobbs looks so chill! Hi to Kelly✌️❤️🚐

Nice view Brian, that dust storm must have been around end of the first week or so of April. We left Ruidoso Nm. headed up I-25 to Albuquerque. It was just about pure Hxll driving that day. At least 3 to 4 dust storms crossing I-25, reported of 45mph to 60 mph gust.
....we had to get to Albuquerque before noon because weather reports said that's when the gusts would be worst towards afternoon. Had to replace a broken passenger rear view mirror after a young girl side swiped us.
Our adventure was only from 3/25 to May 1st back to Alabama.
....We made to best of the incident as we headed up to Durango, Co.

Nice tapestry of kokopelli. I live in Hornbrook California. I can see Mt. Ashland from my place. Last year i was able to get a few pictures of lightning strikes. One hit the hill between me and Mt. Ashland. It looked strange so i enlarged it. The bolt looks like kokopelli. And over the 6 years being here i have found 2 kokopelli from a wind mobile. It must of been blown apart by the winds i get here. I put one on the wall inside the house. The other one is on the outside of the house. I wish you could see the picture.

Keep an on Hobbs when you get into the mountains. Someone might have mentioned it before. We have a little dog who is susceptible to hypoxia, like over 7000 feet is about where she gets sick. She will acclimate after a couple of days but she is a bit younger than Hobbs so keep an eye on that old man. We quit caring about level, our bed is north/south in our van, as long as my wife and I aren't crashing into each other and the blood isn't running into our brain we just roll with it. Those sawcut mountains behind you remind me of the Tetons. Can't go wrong with that! After watching you for a few years we started cleaning up any trash we can when we're out camping, just trying to do our part where others failed to do. Thank you for the inspiration sir.
