Great video, informative as always. I’m not sure that 10 listings/hour is easily achievable though. When you take into account sourcing, testing, cleaning, picturing, listing, postage prep and posting. It would make an interesting video to see how fast you and AirVal could do all of that though!
The biggest problem I have is when I go to seek a game, let’s say a $5 game, and there are dozens others listed at prices like $2.99 with free shipping. They cost like $3.50 to ship so I don’t even know how that is possible
Question. So if you buy a game for 100 then sell it for 130. You make 30 dollars profit. Ebay takes 13 percent which would bring it down to around 16 dollars profit. Then you have your 15 percent the Government takes at tax time which would be 4.50. So your net on that would be about 12 dollars or so for what should be a 30 dollar profit. This isn't including shipping product costs. So I am having trouble seeing how you make money. I'm trying to start a business. Any tips or comments on this? Sorry for the long comment
@@alanburns9466 It's not morally iffy in the slightest unless you're forcing them to sell it with some kind of threat. Anti-capitalism is for anti-intellectuals.
@@alanburns9466 1. if they don't know what they have, it's obviously a win win. You have no moral or ethical obligation to maximize their profit. They're not running a business in that case, so it's your income at stake, not theirs. 2. You would be giving them liquidity which is a service that comes at a cost. ok question im in my first month, ebay only allows you to sell 10 items im 2 weeks in and only have 1 game left out of the 10 to sell but cant list anymore for 2 weeks until a review so how do you list that much in your first month ? i have 300+ ready to go
What I have done in the past is called eBay directly and explained what I was doing. Once they realize that you are a real person and have made some sales, they will be willing to raise your limits. In my experience I have had multiple stores get their limits raised in their first weeks just by calling eBay.
@@common_lad thanks i will try that. another quick question have you ever had your oversized letter mail take longer than the 8 business days to arrive as i have one customer who hasn't received their order yet and today is day 9
@@common_lad Initially they didn't help me over the phone but once I mentioned that I'll just have to list my items on another platform, they changed their tune and helped me out.

Great video very honest but I just wanna say take it slow!!! Don't jump in and think you're gonna make all this money right away. It takes time. Also don't think just because you have something rare or mint all of a sudden it's just gonna sell once you list it... it takes time! Be patient, don't put yourself at risk. I did that and am in a bit of a pickle ☺ God will guide me through but boy did I jump all the way into the deep end before I knew what to expect realistically, as far as turn-around time is concerned. And list as you go!!!! Don't buy a thousand things and then think you're gonna list it all later. List as you go to make your money back (and ideally profit) so you can keep buying to restock! Thanks 👍 😊

Common Lad has a video on his channel that outlines his process for getting products and has some references for getting games at $2/game. Check it out!
I'm lucky when I can find videogames for $5.00 a game and that's low end. Everything is very expensive in games and people don't want to sell their games for that price unless it's in horrible shape and not great games.
Likewise how is he getting $10 for used games? Over here you can't even sell used games for £2 with free shipping. Only games that I've sold for good money have been a couple of 2003 games that were still factory sealed..
@@FredsRandomFinds Some games on Ebay sell for crazy amounts of money ... some stuff sells for very little. But finding stuff cheap that sells for alot is harder to do now ... everyone wants full retail for everything they sell now.
Solid video sounds like I’m in the right path. Do you think you could do a video of games that sell the fastest like a top ten for each system? I’m at the 4 month mark. I have a Jfj easy pro maybe selling 3-6 games a day. I been getting lucky on sourcing. I buy all of my shipping supplies in bulk online and re use any of my own packaging. Although this is a side hustle in my time I really enjoy it and want to have it grow to your level.

@Common Lad so my first question is Where the hell are you getting the consistent inventory to list 60 games a day at the rates you are doing it.

Honestly I could manage all that apart from sourcing. I only buy games that make me a certain profit margin

Could you make a video on your eBay storage setup and all that is involved in that

Ebay is making me pay for the shipping label... Which is 3.67. Is there a way to make that go away? Also what kind of shipping do you use?
It sounds like he is using oversized letter mail, and ONLY to Canada. Good luck shipping anything to the US for that price.
