  • Learning to code is often a passport to success, and with the evolution of AI, the dream of building something amazing could be open to anyone. Entrepreneur Amjad Masad presents an innovative platform that connects human creativity with next-generation AI capabilities, allowing anyone to become a software developer - without writing a single line of code.

This has personally been one of my favorite project ideas to work on, I'm so glad someone figured it out and got it done (so I don't need to do it), there's lots more work to be done. I believe the ferdiverse has great potential as a decentralized social media platform without algorithms. We need to make social platforms about communication and connection rather than consumption of content. I hope to collaborate with Replit someday.

All very ideal, but the semantics of building an application are unchanged, as evidenced by the screen shots at 5:26. The big difference is that you now have a co-pilot who does a lot of the design and coding. (Using AI in this way is a particular form of pair programming.) You still have to provide the high level concepts and architecture (which is not the same as the basic idea), AND you must also check the code. AI code generators tend to hallucinate and can provide incorrect syntax, non-existent function calls, and even misunderstand instructions. Non-programmers can not build these types of sophisticated solutions. Also, incorporating Google libraries into your solution is not free.

    There's something missing from 8:17
AkashDeep will probably use AI to generate the code, and when it doesn't work, ask for help on Stack Overflow.
    This neatly closes the circle:
A tech bro in the Global North has an idea for the next killer app, but not the time and/or skills to program it himself.
AI does most of the heavy lifting, and what it can't do ends up being done by another tech bro in the Global North.
Meanwhile, the middleman in the Global South profits.

I've had an idea for an app for several years now, but don't have the attention span to learn much less code it out; maybe it can be accomplished with this. It has potential for referral clicks to earn money, but that is not my intention for it =)

I started in Java, then moved to C# .Net, and self-trained in Python. l'm always a bit annoyed by the fact that Python is whitespace sensitive, which makes debugging quite laborious. I wonder why is Python becoming the driver behind of the Data Science and AI these days? Does anyone know? Many thanks ❤

I am and old man so maybe next time but anyone who could design an app that could detect deception across communication lines would be the cat's meow and some.
Could anyone imagine a world without deception and treachery??? A level playing field for all, providing an indispensable solution for mankind's failure at being honest with each other not to mention the cost savings in legal issues and so many other shortcomings.
Not to mention the profits, not one person would do without, instead of profiting from the despair of others, doing a lot of good for this world..

And this will be our end, because as tools and practises accelerate, the bad will wipe out the good before the good has a chance to innoculate. Then it will all evaporate and start over.

Anyone knowing the space knows this doesn't sound futuristic. The question I had was: How can everyone be a creative business owner if the market is a competition? Seems like eventually you'd just end up with a monopolies or there'd be endless spam. Both eventually ending up with an AI that can do everything thus everyone would becoming customers who can't replenish the money in their wallet. Fewer would get the American dream, cause the dream is built off of capitalism
