This single lesson has completely changed (for the better) my entire workflow, saving so much time on tools and shifting focus on creativity! Thank you so much for highlighting the 'little things' that have such a huge impact!
Very handy video! I have a request for future videos. whenever you input a keyboard command (like when you switched the mask to the alpha view) can you show the keys onscreen somewhere? it really helps reinforce these time saving keys.
I bought Fusion: Zero to Hero, Pro Color Grading in DaVinci Resolve and The Top 100 Nodes in Fusion - Video Guide from you. At first I was a little hesitant because of the price, but I can only recommend your products to everyone. The best investment ever. Worth every dollar. I hope there will be more products from you soon. Please keep up the good work, you are definitely the #1 DaVinci teacher.
@@CaseyFaris Zero beginner here... I am going to try DR 19 beta (I am on Linux and took me quite some effort to get it installed even) free version first as I don't know how stable it is. I am curious about the course (but hesitant on the price...). Does the course go deep so you would need paid version of the DR?
1:17:15 - For stuff like replacing the coffee bag, I have a tendency to export a still out to Affinity Photo or to Krita so I can use Stable diffusion to help with in painting (think a more powerful version of Adobe's Firefly but running LOCALLY on your machine) and do the heavy cloning and in painting there when I can and then exporting out a PNG. This saves DaVinci having to run through a bunch of masks and paint nodes and time speed nodes ...
1:09:27 How did the green trackers manage to disappear on the original footage after you had applied a mask of that chat screen from the planar tracker?
Very cool. If there is a swear word in a clip's audio track, is there a way to mute just the voice portion while still preserving the rest of the track?
If we already bought and downloaded Davinci Resolve 18, are we able to download 19 without paying again? If yes, how do we go about doing that? Do we just download 19 and re-use the same license key?
i don't think AI will take over video editing because everyone has their own taste and feel for what film should be. Also, SORA will be pretty rough i think for the first few years ... maybe it might take a good slice of the pie when it comes to render quality but motion blurr and vfx with transitions will be trash for a while
The best thing AI can bring to editing is giving people an easy time rotoscoping and stuff like that. A good AI copilot in an editor can also be insanely helpful especially for new users. I wish da Vinci had a copilot because Premiere and Filmora both have one and it is really really helpful.
I hate that you did the audio first because it makes it difficult to line up the narration to video when you have to go back and re-add the video because the original in (i) and out (o) was too short.
Nope. There is already AI that detects AI and UA-cam has activity mentioned that excessively (although they were vague about specifics ) non user created content would be flagged and removed.
hello sir i am big fan of your and to learn DaVinci resolve i follow you. sir i have a great idea that's can increase your subscriber and also help to spread your video although many places if you are interested then please give me a resource to contact with you
Don't forget to download the FREE media here: www.groundcontrol.film/coffee?UA-cam&+Workshop
33:40 it's gonna be a course but you show very wird way to triming clips.
What email address is the link coming from? I am not receiving the message. I think that address may have been blocked. Thx!
@@revrendgbbq941 I tried two days in a row, and I haven't gotten the link yet either
Thanks Sam! Clear and concise. Amazing walk through with Davinci. Top notch material/content. 👌👍

It's the problem i got. More than 500 dollars is huge for me. I hesitate. How many hours is there for the formation ?
we love you Casey
Thanks Sam and Dan, Awesome music Sam and a great delivery of the smooth vocals from Dan.
Casey, this was the best, bar none, 'End-to-End' I've ever seen; thanks a ton for the work. Starting my second pass right now. 😀
Thanks Dan and Sam.
Awesome walkthrough! Thanks for putting this together!
Bob Ross of editing
Danke!
Thank you for the tutorial. It's the perfect time to get back into editing!
Thank you for doing this!
Thank you for this amazing tutorial!
Love his videos and would love to buy his course but, a bit more than i can spend right now.
incredible software

Thank you for the great job. From Togo West Africa.
Thanks a lot!!
Thank you so much, very good tutorial!! I can not pay the ~ 800 USD for Tutorial but I spent you a coffee.

Prmier pro has an audio remix tool for making muisc longer or shorter.

How about a tutorial for multiple and complex screen replacements in fusion ?
Casey, quick question: can I install version 19 separately from my running DVR Studio 18.6.
Thank you
what about those who don't have studio version to transcribe audio ?
You don't use the cut section of davinci at all? Isn't it useful by saving a lot of time?
at 1:20:02 why do you use a matte control & a polygon mask to a merge just do paint to merge into transform
How are you seeing an RTA of the frequencies at 19:50?
I CAN'T ABLE TO REMOVE THE GREEN TRAKER FROM THE PHONE
Why dosent my audio match the waveform it seems to be nearly a second out, how can I remedy this

Oh sweet summer child
Hoe did you change your timescale to frame 0 5 10 20 etc
Thanks Sam in the comments, Thanks Dan in the comments
I hate that you did the audio first because it makes it difficult to line up the narration to video when you have to go back and re-add the video because the original in (i) and out (o) was too short.
And then I un-paused the video in time to watch you adjust the length of the clips without have to delete and re-add them.....

Isn't this still in Beta?
Yes any idea when the stable version comes, I have installed beta 4 my laptop is crashing sometimes
Yes but this version is incredibly stable. So no need to worry and his guide tips likely won't change when FV is released.
For you to be an instructor you can go a little bit slower please and more details on shortcut keys or whatever moves you make please thanks 😊
i broke 123 likes :D
Thanks for the video, Casey, but I am returning to Adobe. I just really dislike literally everything about DaVinci.
Should i worry about AI taking over editing?
Thanks
