Weirdly it's the Machine Gun Armour enemies (no idea what they're called, guess a wiki might have the name) in Versailles Palace (the very next stage) that have machine guns. Konami this is may be innocent compared to what you've been doing for the last decade but wtf (ಠ_ಠ)
DAMN! Castlevania is overall INCREDIBLE! Sucks that Konami has NEVER rereleased this title, and the original Genesis/Megadrive copies are pretty valuable.
@@baseballsoffury642 I just beat Bloodlines. It's a lot of fun. It's a Genesis game through and through so it's a little different. I've never beaten IV, that's next on my list. The consensus seems to be that IV is better but that Bloodlines is still really good.
Jonathan Pressman IV is without a doubt one of my favorites. I actually like it more than Rondo of Blood. It’s right up there with Symphony of the Night.
I don't know why, but this gives my a Tanya the Evil vibe. The fact it's in a German weapons factory helps. That or it's a synth rock remix of the Porridge theme.
I think this song could be rendered using distorted guitars and accoustic drums to feel more like a Rock song, or using an electronic drum machine and beefy deep bass like the ones so common in the nineties...and both versions would sound equally amazing. Even more amazing is knowing that the Sega Genesis rendered it to sound as something pretty much in between those two ideas, and boy how well it delivered. Music can hardly get better or cooler than this.
such a badass song. the genisis was capable of making solid sounds. Michael Jackson fucked up by not taking sega up on the offer to produce sonic the hedgehog's ost for the third instalment of the series
your not alone i always loved markyjoe1990s lyrics to this song which in my humble opinion makes this song even more catchier which in my mind beats the overated mainstream current pop,rap and rock songs that you hear on the radio and in restaurants like wendys and in shopping plazas for that matter in this day and age in terms of the lyrics that markyjoe1990 sang but that's just me and i digress ^_^

The fact that this piece was rearranged in Smash Ultimate is a testament to its timelessness.
This song is absolutely amazing.
My favourite Michiru Yamane song in Castlevania! Amazing!! That begining is fantastic, i wish it looped to that part.
I always saw skeletons dressed with ww1 German Kaiser army helms shooting a machine guns to this tune.

The back story of Bloodlines, Elizabeth is using the mass killings of WW1 to resurrect her uncle Vlad Count Dracula.
Wasn't a fan of the Genesis sound chip, but this is totally my jam. Like baroque prog rock electronica. Yet a strange futuristic atmosphere.
Because they used it goodly
the PoR version of this song is superior imo.
X2
Nicolas Collart And they didn’t use the shitty Gens board for this
Mega drive had some of the best music ever your mad lool
I love this track SO MUCH.

Estoy totalmente de acuerdo
Yo soy de España,y te entiendo perfectamente…
Whatever you said, I know that i agree with you!
Jesus fucking christ, this song is one of the best songs (if not, the best) song I've ever heard
Yes
The intro to this song goes so hard that I don't understand why this isn't a final stage theme
Well, to be fair it is used for a level _more_ than half-way through the game.
DAMN! Castlevania is overall INCREDIBLE! Sucks that Konami has NEVER rereleased this title, and the original Genesis/Megadrive copies are pretty valuable.
That's why we use emulatoooors~
1 year later, we now have this title available on the Castlevania Anniversary Collection.

@@arriettylunaris I think so but I'm not sure.
A very lively tune to empower the protagonist to keep on trucking
I am playing this through right now. It's harder than I expected.
Jonathan Pressman I am playing through it to see if I like it more than Super Castlevania IV...and of course to have fun

Its one of these games where you need to know what to do, and be prepered, reaction is less important, if your composure is bad you will lose.
Game is hard af. Castlevania 4 is better tho.
Paying my respects to all the WW1 soldiers
My favorite level music here.
0:47 i always think sonic at that point :DD
My favorite song in this awesome game!
The clock tower music is very good

A dangerous level with all that machinary
I was playing this music when I was playing final fantasy 8 the castle.
It kinda goes with it you know.

But he did, he was just not credited, with multiple theories as to why. Also, what the fuck is that name?
His sister Janet actually sampled a track from one of the mega drive Sonic games in one of her songs!
Le chip sonore de la megadrive dans toute sa splendeur.
Man I loved playing this game many many years ago. Music is so epic
despite the stage theme is in Germany, it's Eric's theme in Judgment, and Eric is Spanish XD
Mean I ain't complaining because the composition is good either way
NIIICE !! This was in Portrait of Ruin too !!
Literally a Mega Man level- both in design and in music -put into a Castlevania game. What’s not to love?
I never played Bloodlines back then. I only just played it when I got the Castlevania Collection for the Switch. This is a HUGE regret.
I love this song. It’s got a little Sonic in it at 1:33
i can't be the only one who thinks to markyjoe1990's lyrics that go to this song about not recording sound for a fire emblem hack

Oh my god, once again,
I have forgotten to record game audio
My foolishness, has forced me to do this
So I can compensate for the lack of music~
