- So we all know the miniatures for Street Fighter are amazing, BUT IS THE GAME ANY GOOD? This is Part 2 of my impressions of Street Fighter The Miniatures Game, and I'll share whether or not the gameplay is a kick to the gut.

Great overview. I absolutely love this game. Cant wait for the Crossover with Mortal Kombat. I better get working on that MK health tracker app
I’d like to thank you for making that graphical meter app.
@@K-Choi Thanks man, i appreciate it.
@@mikeglasswell-gameplay Yeah every Christmas I think of getting this game. And then my very next thought is about how cool it was that you made that app :)
@@SuperDecimator thanks man.
Amazing overview. Thank you!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I have a question:
if a defender successfully counters, can he/she follow-up to do a combo even though its not their turn??
Its beaten any game I have gotten gameplay wise in the last 2 years.... So yes. Its great! Really sad you didn't get all of the expansions and maps. So much value added in those.
With how we play games (one after the other), the content I DID get will likely be enough. But yeah, I've really been enjoying it too.
My favorite game to play with family and friends!
I love board games and love street fighter but this is just so expensive. I feel like any time I want to play a street fighter style board game, I'd either go for battle con, yomi, or exceed. If I wanted to go for the street fighter theme, Id sooner play exceed Street Fighter. Idk, this seems like a hard sell, but also, I'd hate to regret missing this in the future if prices go up.
This is a solid one! Can’t wait to get more into it 😬😬
How much have you played, or have you not tried it yet?
@@meeple I’ve played a few of the characters but I haven’t tried them all. I also want to try Boss Battle and Car Map :)
@@TabletopIsland Yeah, I haven't really dug into much more than the 1v1 fights and did one free for all.
@@meeple Yeah I’ll get there overtime... spent time creating storage solution and playing more games now that I’m all vaccinated 😭🙏🏼
7:19 that combo is impossible. For combos You still have to keep in mind the range value.
Good point!
The combo is possible, because after quick hadoken, you can move 2 spaces, so you move ken away 2 spaces, so you’re still in range.
@@FireStormBaller yep, quick hadoken into hurricane is correct. But not hurricane kick into fierce hadoken. Is what I was referring to.
Looks awesome!
It's pretty awesome indeed.
Moving is strategic, since u need to be in rage for cards to work, positioning to pull off extra dmg from walls or terrain is strategic, the chooice of countering or using events to boolster defence or evade, what cards to keep and not when 7+ in hand.
Se little to no diffrance between this game and summoner wars. Handmangement dice shucking game. Also Summoner wars base game is not that cheap and exp packs of just cards cost like 12-14$
Interesting comparison!
Best game I've gotten all year. It is just so much fun. I have the stretch goals. It seriously surprised me how different each character feels. I would also say that even with all the luck elements. Yes I think this game requires a skill and strategy. I like the luck parts because it helps balance the game. My friends don't need to fear me wiping the floor with them because I can wiff combos and miss counters.
Yeah. So many nice little mechanisms to keep it exciting.
Sounds like the old street fighter storytellers rpg system
This game plays the same way I play the video game. Lucky button mashing. Sometimes it works out.
For me it's more of a blend of some skill (or strategy), and a little luck--in both cases. 😉
This feels like it could have just been a card game and not much would have been lost. The minis seem like really cool promos
Although I don't think near as many people would have backed it.😉
this is a much much better take on the game than Dice tower offers.
Agree to disagree
@@BoardGameQC care to elaborate?
I think experience with the game will vary depending on your exposure to the video game. I happen to think that this game really nails the "feel" of Street Fighter. While it obviously has some luck involved, I think that is a must for making a game like this capture all the excitement of a fighting game. Thanks for watching.
Agree to disagree...to agree...or maybe disagree. Do I have you confused now?😉
@@thereal4579 nuh, I rather just say it. Kinda like you did 😜
For me Yomi and Combo Fighter much better games and they bring more this fast pace fighting of a streetfighter....this game to much luck....first dont know which card the attacker plays....second dice for the dmg and third, not knowing when a card I need will arrive.....sorry to much luck....and man the Figures and terrain are only for the show....
I certainly agree that there's luck, but for me, that dose of luck is a big part of what makes this game fun. I also love minimal luck in other games, but for some, I just feel a little luck can be a vital ingredient.
