No disrespect intended to Ott, but the originator and first "master" of the shaking technique was Don Iovino out of Burbank, Ca. Don was the only guy around who had arm rests on his bow seat. Where he excelled was in catching suspended fish he tracked with his electronics. My personal variation of the technique was to use lightweight "darter head" jigs and 4-inch paddle tail worms (HP122) made by a guy in Lake Isabella, Ca.
Insane Fisherman you can use a uni to uni knot, a surgeons knot, or a berkley knot to attach a flouro leader... i generaly tie a uni to uni unless im tieing with heavy braid/flouro as it uni to uni knot is a bit bit bulky compared to the others.. bit easier to tie though good luck my friend
A lot of people become masters of a particular technique and it doesn't take anything away from the others. I've fished with a lot of really good flippers but, as far as I'm concerned, Dee Thomas was the orignator of the technique. Who's Kriet, anyway?
Liking these technique specific videos, and coming from one heck of an angler, thanks Ott and MLF !!!
I met Ott this week, I tried to find out where MLF was fishing this week.. wicked nice guy! This is an excellent pro tip!

Ott Defoe has the coolest name in Bass Fishing. 2nd place is Ish Monroe. Shawn.
I really like these. To the point. Nice detail
Great insight.
how long do you make your flouro leader for gin clear water in shallow?
2-4 feet is what I recommend
20 ft.
Brushhog. Greenpumkin.
Shaky head style.
Weightless works great too.
Ott Deeeeeefoe big fan
Does anyone know if DeFoe was sponsored by Berkley or was he just specific?

I seen video around end July a kid in Alabama caught 14 pounder on a shaky head. So whoever hates on a Shakey head is dead wrong.
Shaky head master? That don’t look like Kriet.
