I have the icecap 1K in a 50 gallon love it.
I think maxspect sent this jump range to every fish tuber in the known universe. Even aussie channels with like 2k subs got it hahahaha. As soon as I saw the title I knew it was the jump gyre.
I saw someone with less than 100 subs doing the review on this.
Great pump I'm going to look into getting one.

You can use this in a Fluval 5g? I thought this was rated for 13 gallon tanks and above :o

looks like the maxspect version of the icecap 2k other than the different controllers. I wonder if theres any difference in build quality or reliability.
Ah wondering when you'd be doing this review, Maxspect apparently sent samples to practically every youtuber who does reef content. That said, they did help me make a decision, I went with the Icecap 4k gyre because I wanted to run 2 pumps.

I have the same Fluval Evo as you. I was debating this wavemaker vs the Aqamai KPS. I went with the KPS because of the App control, I hated seeing additional control boxes around. If the Gyre was app enabled, i would have went with it. It's great for scalability in case of tank upgrades. The KPS doesn't really give you the wave abilities of the Gyre.

Another big new build on youtuber channel and wow new product is out on a big campaign at the same time. Getting ridiculous now all are not credible reviews, as they are paid or provided for free. Quoting what you always liked but its only new in this new pump which you have not used
