I wish they would make disconnecting the cable closer to the pump head so you don't have to unravel the whole cable when it comes to cleaning them.

I own a pair of XF330 Cloud Edition with the controller and am pretty happy with the purchase. Especially the 2nd Gyre; I got it at a reasonable price at BRS's friends and family sale recently. I used the reward points too, which became affordable and less expensive than buying two powerheads from other manufacturers!
This product could be the most versatile and customizable wavemaker in the market. There are so many wave patterns and speed options you can experiment with for your tank needs. In my 55 gallons/3 feet long mixed reef, I have many euphyllias and gonis/alves that need proper water movement, and the XF330s do a great job right at the spot. The directional flow nozzles/cages are an excellent idea - they work like 4 individual powerheads. And it is a big plus for me that the 2nd Gyre (Gyre B) does not need a power bank; it can be connected to the controller directly, and that saves space and an electrical outlet. The Gyres are pretty powerful - especially when they are used as a pair on each side of the tank - I only run them at a max of 40~50% power & use the alternate flow pattern, and it is more than enough flow for my tank combined with the return pump flow. It is correct that Gyres can create water movement similar to the natural ocean flow - my corals and fishes look very happy after switching to a pair of Gyres.
The only con is the phone app. It acts weirdly, sometimes displaying foreign characters or freezes after changing a setting, etc. Overall the app's interface and navigation need to be more sophisticated - when the pumps themselves are excellent, the app is poorly designed; they deserve a better app. Looking forward to the significant app updates!

So do I get 2 Gyres, put them on opposite ends and run the anti sync (just one active at a time) or is one enough in an LPS/Gorgonian tank. I don't know if they would like to lean to one side all the time.
How does Gyre flow combine with a Tunze WaveBox?

In an aviation fuel system, those pumps are called “Jet Pumps”. They do exactly, to a point, what you say they do. In an aircraft, by using the pressure of fuel leaving the Boost pump, the fuel goes through the the center of the ejector, picking up fuel, gaining volume. .

Is it possible to use the Y splitter cable so that you can run 4 pumps from 1 controller?

Can you connect your old pump like XF250 into the new cloud controller?

Is it possibly for my to run the XF330 and the XF350 with the same controller? Unfortunately my overflow is on one corner and the larger pump will not fit, but the smaller one will.

It seems to always lose connection with the controller and I always have to disconnect the power than re-connect.

The multi directional actually defeat the main thrust of the gyre type pump. the multi directions cancel each other or fight each other. so may as well use regular wavemaker.

These are overkill unless you have a super long tank. Wave makers are the way to go

At no point will you see these effectively demonstrated in a tank during this video. I’ll buy 6 of them.

The app is absolute garbage. I really wanted to love this pump but the app makes me regret this purchase
