Look, guys, we get it, these aren't what you would call a health food. But if you have children and all your children will eat for breakfast are pancakes, these are a GREAT alternative to pancakes made with tons of sugar, processed flour, and preservatives (based off of pancakes made from a box mix.) And YES, these do have nutritional value to them. Bananas, dark chocolate, peanut butter, they have their own nutritional value to them when eaten in reasonable amounts. The only ingredient that is used with really no nutrients at all is the syrup, but come on, they're pancakes.
In my opinion pancakes don't need lots of syrup or honey poured all over them, tasty wise that is. I put some turkish yogurt on top of em when they've cooled down a bit and it's really good :)
Tips 4 the banana one 1. Use one egg instead of 2. 2 makes it watery 2. Add 2 handfuls of flour to make it t h I c c 3. Don’t get upset if the first few flop. Keep trying and you will get there, your problem might be you’re flipping to fast or hard. 4. The inside is not under cooked, it’s the banana. Once the top and bottom have good browning, you’re good to go 👍 Opinion: they’re great for breakfast,I added a little to much syrup though. Next time I’m just eating them plain 😂
Sure everything is fun and games until the little one chops is fingers off or burn....no little kids on my kitchen, no even when papa is there. No cooking til they have 8yo or something
Made the ones with Greek yogurt this morning but used dark cherries instead of blueberries! OMG, they were so delicious! Have some left over for a quick "here's one I prepared earlier " breakfast during the week!
Ignore these negative comments about syrup when its not even syrup 😂 Keep up these videos, some people actually appreciate these ideas and recipes. Thank you :)
I tried it too like twice cause its low in calories and have good nutrition and some how they didn't look good but I manage to flip them and I swear to GOD they were yummy😍
I like all of these choices and im going to try them all. And for those worried about the syrup remember they have sugar free and other syrup alternatives. You can also add honey which is a healthy alternative in itself. 😜😄
iPhone Xi lol yeah, I can't use those due to the dangerous affect it has on some animals, need alternative to non stick...that pan doesn't look like a non stick though?
Another really good pancake is Banana Oat pancakes! ( Alishamarie gave me this idea ) 1. Get 1 Banana Place in blender 2. Get a cup of oats and put it in the blender 3. Put 2 eggs in the blender 4. BLEND 5. Cook them like regular pancakes. There you have it some nutritious and delicious Banana oat pancakes!!
one more recpie for the plant based fam and for anyone elso who wants to try 😘 -1.5 cup of oats -1 cup plant based milk -1 banana blend oats into flour, add milk and mashe banana. Blend until smooth and put on a medium hot pan. Enjoy!
lu see sorry, but i dont rlly understad ur question? There are many plant-based milk such as soy, oat, almond, hemp, rice which is my favourite regarding flavour ;)
For a banana pancakes recipe that’s really good: 1 ripe banana (mashed) 3/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon maple syrup (optional depending on how ripe the bananas are/how sweet you like things) 1 teaspoon canola oil (i used olive and everything was fine tho) 1 cup flour (all-purpose or nah) 1 teaspoon baking powder Makes about 6 pancakes Super good. Ate them this morning. Adding your protein powder, if you have one, is good too, just maybe decrease the flour a little bit? My fave toppings would be stewed frozen berries and unsweetened yogurt.
I just tried the banana pancakes, and they are delicious! You just have to make sure to add a littte flour, and maybe another spice (say nutmeg) for a bit extra flavor, and thoroughly mix the egg and banana mixture until it becomes the same consistency so it does not scramble on you. Hope this helped!
Of all the ingredients I had peanut butter pancake. I tried this morning and was delicious! I made this because it was sugar free for a diabetic without sugar syrup. I would totally RECOMMEND it. It's also best if you want a sugar free diet 😋
By far my favorite pancake recipe... 1 egg 1 banana ¾ cup steel cut oats ½ cup cottage cheese Tsp vanilla extract Scoop protein ¼ cup milk Cinnamon Sometimes I'll make em just to save em for the next day. I'm... actually... going to go make some right now... 🏃♂️

@@emilyorta5176 i followed the recipe but omitted the vanilla extract and instead added two scoops of vanilla protein powder and 1/4 tsp baking powder!! If you try i hope all works out!:)

Well I really hate those little hands on this videos....no little kids on the kitchen not even when papa is there. A kitchen is absolutely dangerous even for an adult. No cooking til they have at least 8yo or something.
If you want a healthier alternative to syrup as a topping, and you need _something_ kinda liquid-y & sweet that will soak into the pancake, put some frozen (or fresh) fruit - preferably berries - on the stove in a saucepan and make a quick fruit compote to pour on top - add a teeny bit of water and/or lemon juice as the heat breaks the fruit down (and help it along by mashing the fruit a little with a fork/spatula/something); also, if you want to thicken the compote and make it less runny, you can add chia seeds (after you take it off the burner). I like putting yogurt on top of my pancakes as well, in order to complement the compote, but that's admittedly an acquired taste.
If you’re having trouble flipping them, odds are your equipment is prolly not up to snuff. Try making them silver dollar style and cooking them covered on low heat. Makes them hold their shape better and equates to better flips.
100g of blueberries or any berries (or more, up to you. 100g of blueberries is 60 calories). Add the blueberries to a small saucepan, turn the heat on medium-high. Add about 1-1.5 Tbsp of Lemon/Lime Juice Add water until the water is equal to the height of the blueberries Bring water to a boil Cover and lower heat Simmer for 10-15 minutes. If you want the berry chunks gone, add the syrup to a blender once the syrup cools down a bit, then re-add it to the saucepan on a simmer temperature, and let it go for maybe 5-10 minutes covered. Then you have a smooth berry syrup, nearly just like store-bought.

Cool Girl56 well peanut butter is easy to burn off and has lots of protein. Dark chocolate is just a better version of chocolate. It's not healthy but you can eat it in small amounts and be okau since it has less sugar than regular chocolate.

Petey then don't put syrup

???? Honey contains a shit ton of sugar and is quite unhealthy if you put the same amount of it on top as in the video... :DD

Banana pancakes are everywhere and I hear they're good. I'm going to try them!
Totally nutrious when you add the maple syrup
Red Well now we have to think of a substitute or a healthy syrup.
If you're buying the 100% maple syrup (meaning without any additives) it is actually not bad for you !
100g of blueberries or any berries (or more, up to you. 100g of blueberries is 60 calories).
Add the blueberries to a small saucepan, turn the heat on medium-high. Add about 1-1.5 Tbsp of Lemon/Lime Juice
Add water until the water is equal to the height of the blueberries
Bring water to a boil
Cover and lower heat
Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Add sweetener during the cooking process if you like, or don't at all. Fruit is naturally sweet.
There ya go. Simple berry syrup. And yes, it has berry chunks in it. If you want the berry chunks gone, add the syrup to a blender once the syrup cools down a bit, then re-add it to the saucepan on a simmer temperature, and let it go for maybe 5-10 minutes covered.

I didn't care for any of those but I know are very popular.
i made the first recipe with a couple of changes and it was pretty great! here’s everything I did, but im terrible at cooking so I just eyeballed it and it was still good:
makes three pancakes (scoops of two tablespoons per pancake)
-one banana (mashed) mixed with one egg
-add a tablespoon (or 1 1/2) of oats and mix into batter
-add 3/4ish of a tablespoon of flour (I added it after the oats when I wanted it to be thicker and eyeballed it, mixing to check if it was enough so I don’t add too much. the batter was pretty thick but I guess a little runny and it turned out great as a pancake)
-add 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
-sprinkle cinnamon
then i poured some olive oil on a pan and fried it, + you can add toppings but they taste good without it (I had two plain, one blueberry w/ fruits ok the side and like less than a tsp of peanut butter just for fun lol). don’t be afraid to try new things! these were my first time making pancakes, and make sure to try them after you make your first one to see if you need any changes.
