hi Jason, good session, always great to fish with family, i was there on friday but very busy no luck, ordered another rod from toni,s hopefully pick it up wens, to make a pair, vercelli cobra,s 15ft, looking forward to my first go with them, take care mate.

You did not blank so that was good as I've heard so many times you can only catch what's in front of you so your brother got a better spot and you may of given him an added interest in fishing. (Like his t shirt, would swap it for my Jethro Tull World Tour 1973 if it wasn't falling to bits). As for the freshly caught mackerel you can't beat them I just add a little lemon. Mind you only had fresh mackerel when I lived in Cornwall straight off the boat at 2 pence each. Supermarket ones are rubbish. Keep your run of catching fish going and thanks for posting.
Alright mate seeing tull in the 70s must of been brilliant, the t shirt I had on was a band called admiral sir cloudesley shovell check them out 🤘 must of had a good spot that me and Jay were the only one pulling them out, beginner luck for me I think. Was nice tho, an plan to get out there again soon.

Can’t beat fresh mackerel shop brought ones are not the best !
Cant beat bit of fresh mackerel straight from the sea to the pan, next time you cook them in fillets give them few cut on top of the skin which will stop them curling up in the pan and will cook better :)

Excellent video, I’m new to fishing and really looking forward to going thanks to your channel. I’m planning on going to Langney point this Saturday with some friends in search of a few mackerel. It is rammed atm with tourists fishing head a little bit further out Pevensey Bay may be a good idea

what time of the day / tide was this? I cant find any mackerel down in hastings lol
You want to go first or last light are best usually on the high tide :) hope this helps
