Honestly...this might be the greatest innovation in the history of mobile stand hunting. These guys nailed it. It's so streamlined and well thought out, they have taken things to a whole new level for sure.
Lone wolf is exactly what I call them there a lone wolf company there tree stands maybe the lightest and cool features but a majority of the hunters don't even buy 850 dollar bows I like to see an innovated hang on tree stand from these guys for like 250 I'd bet they'd bet the other companies and have more money just a thought. Me and my buddies don't spend that type of money for it being light or have cool features
Bradley Hudson straps and seat pad available for $100 each, haha kidding, don’t know but would think it add 1-2 lbs to the set. Also don’t forget the mollie strap
I have a real question and I’m not trying to criticize... why does people use this method instead of the sit and climb or the hand climber because then you have mood need for transporting sticks or another climbing method...
This method can work in basically any tree. For example, here in Illinois we don't have a ton of super straight trees, so we can use a hang on with climbing sticks to get into crooked trees, then level out the stand while setting it up.
Bowhunting.com thanks for replying I hunt in South Carolina and mostly straight pine trees. I understand now the crooked tree part I have a saddle and sticks how high do you recommend for me to get to be good hunting
If I seen it right on the website its $500 just for the stand and $100 per climbing stick, to get maybe 18 feet up which to me is kind of low, the bare minimum to use this system is $900 which is ridiculously out of 85% of hunters price range, the industry today is kind of crooked, I was in love with this set up until I seen the price range, and this being another lone wolf company it throws people off, had to come to these comments to find where to go, I assumed it was the original lone wolf, which btw has a system similar for $469 that includes the sticks
@@Rooster_king no, by the time you add all the rope to repel all the extra movement. The sweat. One sticking is the worst option of any. With a lwcg setup and tethrd ones I’m walking in at 12 lbs.
@@arrowsanonymous7394 lol I have a lwcg setup also but it sits in storage unless I'm going to leave it up for a few days. One sticking is lighter and the same effort if you know what you're doing. Your complaints are symptoms of not having the coordination to do it properly.
i personally don't like businessmen who do business this way. They sold the company, most likely signed a non compete agreement, Then when that expired, open a company so closely mimicking Lone Wolf products (stand design) including name and almost same logo. Most likely they will be sued. I know I would sue them if I were the one that bought the original company. As a businessman I wont support them. I any industry word travels fast as to your integrity and I think they did themselves a lot of harm in the long run.
pahuntnut well the original Lone Wolf Treedstand was sold and bought 2006 and guess what? 13 years later and they haven’t improved or changed nothing, Andrea has always own the name “Lone Wolf” and “Lone Wolf Productions” he couldn’t use the name “Lone Wolf Treestands” I gotta a lot of respect for the D’acquisto family. It’s a family whitetail hunters forgot about, and now they’re back in a big way with XOP and Lone Wolf Custom Gear. XOP has been out for a few years now.
If the whole setup with 4 tree stand sticks were to cost $500 than I'll take it but $800. To rich for my blood. I'll go get myself the lone wolf assault which won't break my bank account.
Prices on gear will continue to rise until we the market rebel. We must send a message to ALL of the manufacturers that their high priced gear won't sell. Love the lighter weight stand, but absolutely not at that price. I'm buying a custom made, milgrade Tactisaddle for $179.00 instead.
Agreed but I gauruntee Cody is at least and I mean at least a 300 percent profit!!! Obviously not at start up but he could easily lower the price him and his investors are greedy!!!!
It is kinda like both brands (minds) combined to make this. It's 499 for the stand and around 360 for 6 mini sticks or 350 for 4 of the longer sticks. So it's top of the line stands. Super pricey but it's got me intrigued.
But I'll stick with my xop ambush and xop stacking sticks. That packs up super easy for me, weighs next to nothing, and simple to setup and take down. Not to mention the #1 reason, 1/4th of the price point.
There are actually three separate companies. XOP, Lone Wolf Portable Treestands (Andrae's original company that he sold) and now Lone Wolf Custom Gear.
Lone wolf has a hang on stand for like $250, and made in the US. I'll be sure to support American manufacturing any way I can. Do you know where Hawk makes their gear? Their climbing sticks and some hang-ons look great and not a bad price.
Im guessing a lot of thought went into the name of the company... and $500 for a stand, i think they might have already priced themselves out of business
You're actually not correct about that one. all of their products have an 8-10 week lean time to ship because demand is so high. People are literally buying the crap out of their products they need a lot of time to process orders.
BEST item at the ATA..period
mtnops223 it’s pretty innovative for sure
Honestly...this might be the greatest innovation in the history of mobile stand hunting. These guys nailed it. It's so streamlined and well thought out, they have taken things to a whole new level for sure.
It'll be better once the patent expires and competitors can make it for half the price.
solocam74 to bad xop is affiliated lol. How long do parents last?
@@melvinsacromentoe I'm not sure, but I can wait before spending 800 for a single set up.
I just was using my older xop sticks today and I love em...
These new ones are a whole new level.
Excellent design.
XOP = best
Im sold on this stand already. Looks like I’ll have 2 stands by lone wolf now. Love there products.
I'm with you on that. So glad to come across this video clip cause I was about to go pick myself up the lone wolf assault 2
It's actually a different company. This stand is made by Lone Wolf Custom Gear, not Lone Wolf Treestands.
Coolest item I’ve seen so far from ata2019! I really like my alpha 2 hang on but this just might replace mine!
Retractable dog leash is the best tow rope system ever attach it with Paracord and a carabiner and set up.
Their price is outrageous!
These guys nailed it
A must add to your arsenal!!!
How much just for sticks ill stick to my alpha 2 but need better sticks
Will the graumets of a 20" compact stick line up with the 1.0 stand?
Did u ever find out if they do or not?
When will these things be out, I can’t seam to find the answer!!!!!!!!
Thomas Enger next week!
I would have liked to seen the straps for this stand
That's pretty innovative. Just wonder can you pack it with the straps attached to the sticks or do you have to take straps off every time.
where can i find this model ? didnt see it online
so i checked out their website, the stand is $499.00??!! and it does not come with the sticks? was i reading this right? lol
599 now up to 699 a total rip off.
I bought the original LW for 129 and its 4lbs heaver then this!!!
Ok... I wanna see a deer be loaded on to the stand and then packed out.
7.5lbs for stand plus 6 lbs (4 mini sticks) for $800, I think I’ll stick to what I have now and carry the extra 10lbs.
Is that the price ?
@@oscarnunez7143 Yes the price for stand plus mini sticks is $800 and stand plus full sticks is $850

Yea I know I won't be spending 850 for a stand and sticks, that's ridiculous.
It is an awesome rig for sure, but with ya on the dollars. I use their climber and it doesn't get much lighter anyhow, not 850$ lighter.
What's the price
Great design but way to expensive my gosh why twice as much as the assault. Wheres the straps and the seat pad?
