Dude, I just commented on another vid of yours a few days ago asking if the ambush was as comfy as a viper. Now that I’ve seen this I think I’ve gotta get into saddle hunting! Can’t wait for its release!!

Any mention on keeping the top portion same as the ambush for use during gun season. With same seat and bar for gun rest.
one other thing to add. Xop needs the top portion of this stand wide enough for some with a 38" waist or more to be able to sit and climb on the strap they plan to add. The summit open shot digs into your gut when you try a strap on it like mentioned.
Do you know of a climbing stand that would be best for gun or cross bow hunting? Preferably with some sort of rest.
Are they doing any per order options? Just curious if you had that info. I imagine they will go quick. Looks killer. Thanks for the video and keeping us up to date. That news is new to me at least. Lol love the content man.

I'm still climbing with my XOP hand climber I bought in 2017 for less than $200. I believe it was called the strike force.

This made my year. My lone wolf was stolen and could never get it replaced before they sold out everywhere. Super cool and the price is awesome too!!
Lol what? You can buy the lone wolf hand climbers easily for half that price and make them the exact same weight with a mesh or net seat. Throw your money wherever you like, but I'd make sure of what the real weight is before I pulled the trigger on an xop.
Lone wolf just put out a video they re did the old good version of the hand climber i have, they fixed all that was problematic and made it better by the looks of it i would highly recommended checking it out if i ever replace my climber im getting the brand new updated one
@@dustinhoffman9843 I own two lonewolfs (hand climber, assult hand climber) and ever since they went out of business the prices have sky rocketed! However lonewolf custom gear did also just drop a climber as well. I’m excited about both considered I already have both of their old models

Does the bottom piece comes with foot hooks to help pulling up with your feet like the summit has?
They are built in the full review will show them better
The only downside is the way the belts are adjusted, with the screw system rather than a clamp style like the new LWCG version, but for the money, I can live with it. Never use a saddle if you have the tree's to use a belt style climber, safer, quieter, faster, and lighter, less movement once your set up.
Dang… I really like the ambush I’ve got, but the changes they’ve made pretty much solve the issues I have with the ambush. When do these release?

being able to fit into this and sit and climb on this with a 2 webstrap is Huge. I sure would prefer a climber over a saddle if they really keep it a 13 pounds.

I recently bought the summit open seat after your review and I really like it but now I want this one because it folds flat. Hunting is a very expensive passion lol
Trust me you got a awesome stand I’ve been using a summit open shot for probably 12 yrs or more but this stand sure is appealing with the sit and climb mesh
They will both work! One will just hurt your back a little less hahaha

Clifton, is this the Revolt? Any idea when it will be released? Bow season is open now in Tennessee, and I can’t see that they’ve released it.

Ive been screaming at all treestand manufacturers for several years now to make a new climber for todays ultralight ultra-compact market. I praise XOP for stepping out of the shadows and 'trying' with this stand..but, im still waiting. The platform is still too big (mainly wide) imo. I want to see a platform exactly like this but way more narrow. Picture the top piece, or hand climber seat, then add about 6-8 inches in depth while leaving the width. Just enough space out away from the tree to be able to rest your feet on while sitting, facing away from the tree. This would result in lighter weight, smaller footprint while packing, and a more mobile stand imo.

It’s 13 lbs right now before the seat change which will also drop a little weight I’m not sure the weight of the lwcg

There will be a version coming out in 2024! However this climber is going through some upgrades!

With the rigid seat, when you stand up there’s very little platform
Agree the seat is one reason they have pushed back the release date there’s some changes to the new design

They are making some big changes to it! There will be a climber coming out before season however this climber is looking closer to 2025

Honest opinion. Guys use climbers for the comfortability Factor like summit vipers or api stands..For hang and bang set ups hang on stands are the go to..
I use a lone wolf assult climber and a lone wolf hand climber for about 80% of my hunting and most of which is all run and gun public land all day sits.

You can take the metal outta the middle of the lone wolf seat and make it lighter than that xop. You can turn it into a sit n climb and level the entire stand at hunting height. I've had over 20 buddies buy that stand just from your UA-cam review of it alone.

I hate when these company’s tell u a date then it’s pushed back that much ! I’m sure they stopped the release of this climber cause they were afraid the lwcg crossover climber sales would suffer !
Negative they pushed it back to January because that are making the strap locking system more user friendly

That’s the point me either ! I was just disappointed that they didn’t release the climber ! I had corresponded with them and they told me august ! I just found it very odd when lwcg announced there crossover climber Right after that they pushed back the xop ! It was probably a good financial decision on there part ! A1000$$ is a lot for a climber especially with bidenomics at work ! Lol

Well as a 6 ft 6 in 310 lbs hunter i appreciate xop making higher weight rated stands......but....a 17 inch wide seat? Not much point of a 350 lb rating if a guy cant sit in it esp when you figure in the fact itll be winter time and have thick clothes on.
