The JD Triple Mash is amazing. I was recommended it by my father-in-law and think it's a great buy. I also enjoy the JD Rye from the same 100 proof series.
Ben Holladay BiB, OF 1897, HH 7 year BiB. I'm a bottled in bond guy for my everyday. Need to try that 4 gate and can't wait for my old stubborn batch 2
Russell 10…in my area of Massachusetts it’s always on the shelf. Finally tried it and liked it a lot…just finished it and going to get another! Love the channel!
For me… Ben Holladay soft Red Wheat, the bourbon judge’s pick of Middlewest spirits dark pumpernickel rye , Starlight toasted barrel, Hard Truth sweet mash Rye, Jack Daniels 12, Wild Turkey Rare Breed
Dragon's Milk Origin by New Holland brewery! My go to when i can find it! So good! Still Austin Cask Strength another one I'm really into lately. My third is Heaven Hill 7hr Bottled in Bond. Eagle Rare if i can find it and not pay over too far over MSRP
My gotos are Eagle Rare 10yr Woodford Reserve double oak, Heaven Hill, and Wild Turkey Rare Breed they're all affordable and for the most part easily accessible
Jim Beam Black 7 years Aged has been a surprise for me this week.... I like Rittenhouse for a mixer.. I will find Hard True Rye this week. I also like Wheel Horse Rye neat.... I also plan to get Rare Breed soon.... I also still like Wild Turkey 101 Rye. And, And I could name others Old Forester 1910, Woodford Double Barreled and so on... I really enjoy your videos...
One that I've been going to a lot lately - Barrell Foundation. I finally picked up a bottle a few weeks ago, and I think it's fantastic. Just a classic, well balanced bourbon at a very good price.
I always go to HH BiB, JD single barrel Rye, Ben Holladay Soft red wheat BiB and either Eagle Rare or Green River wheated. Also an honorable mention for a bottle I feel is slept on is Knob Creek 7 yr rye.
I agree, my list changes depending on time of year, etc. - (1) Hard Truth BIB Wheated Bourbon -[I picked this up on your recommendation and LOVE IT]; (2) Jack Daniels Bonded; (3) Peerless Double Oaked Bourbon; (4) High West Rendevous Rye; (5) Knob Creek 9 Year Special Pours - I have been really digging (1) Michters 10 Year SB 2023; (2) Old Over Holt 10 Year; (3) Augusta Buckner's 10 Year SB; (4) Augusta No 8 8 Year SBs (I have 4 of them and love them all in different ways and at different times; (5) Green River Single Barrel Full Proof Bourbon - this bottle might mean the most of all that I listed! Cheers Bourbon Judge!
Haven't tried the Four Gate-- one of those that will probably never be on sale 😢I can highly recommend the Very Old Barton bourbon, tho. Everything thing from the single barrel, Full proof and maybe even their small batch, great value and great sippers!
Only have 1 pour of the Kelvin Sixty left and cannot find a backup bottle. I do have 2 bottles of the Four Gate Triple Oak and am looking forward to the Kelvin Collaboration VI. I cannot put down James E Pepper Barrel Proof, Master Picke 15, Hard Truth Sweet Mash Wheated Bourbon BIB and Old Carter Bourbon batch 16. 🥃
Hmmm, Old Forester 1910 0r 1920, JD BP Rye have been on my go to as of late. But you know what, I might have to shuffle my shelves up, some of those guys in the back deserve some love and I don’t see them hiding back there. My shelves are 4-5 bottles deep, so maybe an ally Susan type thing is in order here. Cheers Judge
Since you like ryes one micro distillery here in Texas carried by Total Wine is Milam & Greene that you should try....if you haven't. I enjoyed your review!
New subscriber I like the channel.. My 4 in no particular order... WT 101 my daily sipper. The cinnamon and vanilla is just amazing for the price point ($22 in my area. Frey ranch straight bourbon. Every bottle I've had has always offered something different.. from earthynes to sweet an smooth.. I currently have 4 bottles all different... Still Austin straight bourbon I love the flavors Johnnie Walker black label.. The sweetness and Apple/grape/white peach is just soooooo good .. Honorable mention.... Russell reserve Maker's mark 45 casket strength Buffalo Trace
Can't argue with the Rare Breed, I always have one open and a couple of backups. The Four Gate is too pricey for me to grab very often. I'd say my substitute is Barrell. I've got more bottles of it than any other brand and more open bottles of it than any other brand too. Not cheap but generally less than half the price of Four Gate. Other than the Seagrass which I have bought over and over, I usually only buy one of each batch and limited release from Barrell because they are always releasing something new and they are ALL GOOD.
As always, love me some Judge. Opened a bottle of Blanton's last night, received it as a gift. First sip of Blanton's in 30 years. Very nice, but I prefer my Rare Breed.
Triple mash is good and jd bottled in bond is one of my favorites and wild turkey rare breed tastes like a weaker version of stagg jr so its really good
I reach for Eagle Rare, Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, John J. Bowman SB, Old Forester 1910.
The JD Triple Mash is amazing. I was recommended it by my father-in-law and think it's a great buy. I also enjoy the JD Rye from the same 100 proof series.
JD triple mash and Bonded are both excellent.
That whole series, is so good.

For me it's King of Kentucky. Joking! But I was lucky to win one in Total Wine's lottery this year for the first time
Lmao Carson

Sagamore Double Oak Rye and their Cask Strength Rye are two of my current favorites. For bourbons, Russell's Reserve 10yr and OF 1910 at the moment.

My daily sipper is Sazerac Rye. Easy to find and easy on the wallet. Yum.
Nothing wrong with that!
Your Hard Truth pick is fantastic. The Four Gates that I have tried have been really good but a bit pricey for me
Ty my friend
Since you like ryes one micro distillery here in Texas carried by Total Wine is Milam & Greene that you should try....if you haven't. I enjoyed your review!

Thanks for sharing! Appreciate you!
Agree the JD Triple Mash is a great sipper. When it comes to a finished rye, for me Angel’s Envy sets the bar.
I hear that Mike.
Triple mash is good and jd bottled in bond is one of my favorites and wild turkey rare breed tastes like a weaker version of stagg jr so its really good
Strong agree about the weather! I also save pricier whiskey’s for when guests come over 😂
Total wine Las Vegas is selling the one liter at 32.99
Been meaning to but a JD Triple Mash
In no specific order... WJ Decadence, OF 1920, Stagg Jr, and EC Toasted.
Nice
Peace Judge!
I wish triple mash was $35. It’s $53 to $56 in my area.
Smooth ambler cask strenghth 2022 rye whiskey , is soooo good.
