Hey could you actually show the process of binding a button? Once you go to live functions you go thru till the one you want and then what?

This is really exciting! Turn assist was like the only thing I was envious of on the Bronco. I’m curious as to why Tazer doesn’t have it listed as a feature on their website?!? I hope I can get it to work!!

Shaun bought a Bronco? A lot of UA-camrs are doing this, but I just bought a 2022 Gladiator and a 2022 Wrangler.

Thanks for that info and demo! That feature would be useful getting around some of the trees around here. I also didn't know front diff lock only was an option now. I'm going to have to update mine.

I don't see how you can only lock the front since the factory buttons only provide: Rear Locker and Front+Rear Locker buttons only.

Awesome! Just updated my Tazer with the latest firmware and tested out the Turn Assist feature. Works great. It appears that it only works in a 4 wheel drive mode (makes sense), and I can only access it in the Button Remap. I didn't see the option int he Live menu choices.
Its only on button remap as far as I know.

@@alexkaa6351 Yes, it's ONLY on the button remap. And YES it's not on the release notes! Trust me, it's there and it works.

Do you have to unmarry the Tazer JL before you bring it in for the update or will it remember your settings?
I was all about the Bronco when it was prerelease. Now that it's out and I'm hearing how the steering rack needs a little.....well... help. - I'm not completely sold on it anymore. Here's to hoping that you dirty and dangerous guys can put some more gas in my can about the new Bronco. Love the color choice and I am excited to see it in action on more channels.

Great video and content is always awesome. One correction regarding 392 Rear Wheel Drive, that has been available for some time at least since I picked mine up and installed the taser on my 392 circa late summer 2021.

Thanks for the info! Just wanted to throw this out there cause I hate broncos, the turn assist is actually originally came from Toyota Land Cruiser 200s. They deserve the credit for that! LC200 is a big old box, turn assist is basically a must have.
It was on the LC, Lexus, etc but it really came from farm tractors as a “cutting brake” from many years ago.

I was gonna say the same thing as MrNoESP that cutting brake has always been a tractor thing. Also curious as to why you hate broncos?

Are we to assume this “donut” mode is for 4wheel high and not the other modes ( 4lo, sway bar?, lockers?)Pretty neat.

So I have a jeep JL sport and bought the rubicon fender flares with led turn signals , So I just bought the tazer JL mini just to make them work I also corrected the tire size and that’s it my question is can I now disconnect the tazer JL mini and reconnect the cables back to the security gateway connector with my changes being saved?

And also please help me out in finding out if the EU version 2020 jlur works with auto high beams , tried everything in the menus and cannot manage to find it or make them work ! As far as I know the vehicle has the hardware but it only works with the tazer !

They can’t. This isn’t a factory feature to enable. It’s a creation that only the Tazer has (and patent pending)
When you hold the right button for mapping with the resume button whick button are you using to cycle threw the options

I think it is because he had the source set to Bluetooth. Probably listening to to music from his phone at some point.

Only happened that one time. Hasnt come back. I did clean my engine bay and radiator out too.
What happened to the ARS? I see you only have the front hoop on now. Been looking at them wondering if they are worth it.

I have a 21 JL rubicon running 37s nitto trail grapplers and used super chip to update the detail but JL won’t hit 8th gear most of the time…can anyone help? Im new to the JL world…want it back to stock, I do have a TeraFlex 4.5 lift kit and overland gear so not sure if it’s because of the extra weight…
So let’s say hypothetically I wanted to add proximity door handles to my JL with the tazer. Is that something I could do just once and not have to use the tazer anymore (I.e. having a friend come over and use it real quick) or does it have to be plugged in at all times in order for it work?
It marrys to your jeeps computer so it can't be used in another vehicle until you unmarry it (and reset everything it changed). It also has live settings that it needs to be plugged in to use

Casey, how in the heck did you get those two connectors unplugged? Mine would not disconnect no matter how hard I depressed the clip.
Press tabs with 2 fingers. Pull wires with other hand at same time. Or find a neighborhood kid :)

May be a dumb question but I just updated mine to the same firmware.. I have a pesant model I’m not seeing the turn assist , cooldown ect options.. brake hood was about it does the turn assist only work on rubicons ?
Also on the screen when it showed once enabled and all the criteria you need.. what’s going on around the screen? Is that a larger screen you’ve put in or a trim piece off??
What phone holder you use for the jeep ?
Does the tazer void your factory warranty? I really want one to adjust for my larger tires but I’m worried it will void my power terrain warranty.
You can umarry it and remove it so all functions return to stock before you take it to the dealership for any repairs.

Question, just bought the Z Automotive mini but cannot download the app to my mac to update to latest firmware , anyone having same issue and any alternatives???? Will it be bad to use it as is?
I just updated ours and I can't find the turn assist. Everything else comes up, but no turn assist. Something else I need to do?
Its only available through remapping a cruise control key. Menu 7, hold right arrow, while holding right arrow push 'res' on yoir cruise control and cycle through the options to bind to that key till turnassist comes up. The team at z-automotive im sure can help if you can't figure it out from there.

Nice video... however, most of what you covered has been covered over numerous videos in the past. I was expecting this to exclude all of that wasted space and get to the NEW hidden features unlocked.

How do you know if you have tpms sensor?
If you cycle thru your menus you should be able to see the tire pressure of your tires.
Does using this effect your warranty?
I personally remove the tazer when I go to the dealer.

The non locker features should.
Yes it will. The 4XE is the only version where it won’t work.
@@Casey250 do you mind explaining to me how this is physically possible in terms of mechanics if I don't have lockers? What is actually locking my rear tire?
@@vincentmamotos9937 the brake caliper. An axle locker would have the opposite effect as it would not allow one wheel to be held stationary.

No more MAC OS updates from tazor - I have been working with them since 11.3.3 (DONT USE THIS VERSION - Messes up your idle speeds!) I have been asking when they will get the MAC OS updates back and they did not commit to timing - Real pain for me since I have to go to my neighbors to do updates - was a real pain when my idle speeds were all messed up - running 11.2.4 but will upgrae to 11.3.4 when I can go to my neighbors for the update

Their website says that due to compatibility issues with new versions of MacOS they are currently freezing MacOS downloads of the programming utility. You have to use a windows computer.

the Bronco sounded like a Mule
Horrible product in a JL/JT diesel. 4 visits to the dealer to clear codes and limp mode when it goes down. Seems as though others with non diesel vehicles are happy but my experience has been horrible. Zautomotive said to bad to sad. No refunds.

Can't find turn assist in live settings. 11.3.4
You need to bind it to one of the cruise control buttons as I did in the video. It isnt in the live setting menu.
@@Casey250I figured out the key binding instructions. Hold right arrow and cycle through the menu to get what you want. What I don't see is how to save the new config for the buttons. I have tried Full reboot and 2 sleep cycles per the web instructions. However it keeps reverting back to the original 3 settings. Any help would be great. Thank you.
