One of my new favorite Disney animated films. Fun Fact: The Star's mask face is inspired my Mickey Mouse.
I really love the film and it shows the good tribute to 100 years of magic, no matter what.
It’s cringe and made me depressed but I’m glad that someone likes it. Good for you.
I loved this film. Asha is amazing and the animation is really good. Saw this 3 times in the theater.

Wanna know something amazing: King Magnifico is voiced by Chris Pine who also voices Jack Frost from Rise of The Guardians. As fans call it, The Chris Pine Duel: Jack Frost (DreamWorks Hero) vs King Magnifico (Disney Villain)
He was also The First Spider-Man of Earth 1610 (Miles home) in Spider Man Into the Spider Verse.
I still dont understand why he wanted to keep the wishes if he wasnt going to grant them, or why ppl had to forget them. Honestly wanted to know more about the villain then any other character 😂
It is to stay in power and to have the citizens rely on only him to have their wishes be granted instead of having them make their own wishes come true.
@@JestKartoonsStudios I get that, but they could always have new wishes, so even if one wish gets forgoten you still have infinite more, which makes keeping the first one pointless 😅
@@JestKartoonsStudios that doesn't make sense because the citizens feel empty after their wishes were taken. That's a negative feeling. From a writing standpoint the wishes should NOT be part of their hearts and instead they forget about the wish that was taken and just simply have another one. That's very natural as people rarely only want one thing in particular anyway.
@@ABAO2009 maybe because that's their most precious wish. The one they absolutely wants to be exausted
@@a.g.demada5263 but for what? If he didnt know wishes could give him power before he became corrupted, then why keep them? Even the most wanted/strongest would just be useless
From my understanding they did have ideas, but they were too concerned about what other people thought. Which is why the movie feels incomplete. Those ideas were supposed to help with the plot.
For example, the king and Queen both were gonna be evil. Asha was gonna be their daughter and the studio was worried. Probably that parents were thinking Disney's vilifying parents again.
There's also That originally asha was gonna have a love and the star had the ability to become human. Feels very similar to Neil Gaiman's Stardust.
Actually, Asha was never going to be Magnifico's daughter.
With Valentino I'm reminded of a very young Esmeralda.
In the original concept art, Asha was supposed to look like Esmeralda which I wished it would’ve kept for The Hunchback Of Notre-Dame reference. Better than the final design that looks too much like Rapunzel & Isabella.
Who else saw the personalities AND traits of the seven dwarves in Asha's friends?

They were not subtle about it, especially when they're almost always together as a group
This movie disappointed me so much. I felt that there were so so many amazing ideas that just missed every single mark...it was alright but it could've been amazing.

There are still a lot of classic Disney animated movies that he hasn't seen yet. Once he's seen all of them, then he should react to _Once Upon a Studio._
I love a movie where a group of entitled people who have everything turn against one person. Really speaks truth to the real problem.

There was so muvh cut out of this film that I really would've loved to see. I feel like what we got was kind of underwhelming and generic, especially for the studio's 100 year anniversary, but the animation is nice, and there's some decent music at least.
From my understanding some of their ideas they were afraid.
For example, star being a human and her falling in love with him feels too somewhere to Stardust. So they were probably nervous about a lawsuit from neil gaiman
Then you have both the king and queen being evil With Asha being their daughter, they were probably afraid of parents thinking that Disney's making both parents. Bad guys and kids should not respect them.
I know I know the last one is ridiculous. But There are people who are saying Disney's vilifying parents.
My assessment of this film, coming out of the theatre with my sister and a couple of friends - an assessment I actually had pegged down the moment I realized that the second musical number ostensibly had in-story context but would work equally well in a romantic context or a parent/child one: this feels more like the Disney *Channel* celebration of 100 years, not the Disney Animation Studios one. I mean, heck, the art style looks exactly like that of Sofia the First. Sofia is impressive because it manages on a television budget to almost look like a Disney theatrical feature. That "almost" is pretty damning when it's an actual theatrical feature with that same style...
The only other movie that has a Star that comes down to earth. Is best movie ever Stardust which is a fire movie great film. Please react to it sometime.
I thought the movie was alright, certainly not groundbreaking and not as good as the concept ideas, but I don't see what's worth making an angry fuss over
So, while I do feel this film is sub-par compared to much of the Disney Animated Canon, it's still got a lot of good in it and everyone has been too hard on it. Especially the people who think Magnifico is the secret hero - whatever he was long ago, when we meet him it's clear it's his own power and his own image he cares about most.

I did get emotionally teary eyed toward the final battle.
You should really fix that camera and remaster all of the movie reactions no skipping please and no profanity please and make it a full movie reaction please
