I totally understand. I honestly had stage 3 cervical cancer in 2007 a month after having my son. They wanted me to do chemo but I fought threw it. Even though I was losing weight and my hair was falling out. I got threw it. I'm now 15 years cancer free. We will get threw it. No matter how hard things seem I believe this too shall pass. 🙏🏾

Going to the doctor every year is so important. I love my OBGYN, and when I asked what attributed the most to cervical cancer, she said it's when women (especially really busy women) stop showing up to their appointments. Cervical cancer is apparently a relatively slow growing cancer, so going in often enough for them to catch it early is important. I was completely healthy when I found out I had "pre cancerous cells" due to having HPV. Which is apparently SUPER common. Luckily it was caught when it was early before it developed into anything. And small correction: you are supposed to get papsmears as soon as you're sexually active. So if that's 16, 17, 18, that's when you need to get it.
It's only once a year ladies, just go get it done. Doesn't matter if you think nothing is wrong.

I went through the exact same procedure except a few days after the cryotherapy, I fell Ill with septic shock. I never forget that I was going to go home and lay down because I just thought I was tired but the Holy Spirit told me to go to the emergency room. As soon as I walk through the door it all went downhill. Thank God I was coherent enough to tell the doctors the procedure I recently had. By that time I was getting worse minute by minute to the point that I couldn’t walk or even lift my head. They immediately check the area to find an infection that entered my bloodstream. I was administered antibiotics and transported to another hospital for possible emergency surgery. Thank God everything went well and I spent the week on round the clock antibiotics and learning to walk again.
Fast forward (5 years later) I didn’t think I have more children after experiencing that level of trauma down there. After a year of trying I am 4 months pregnant. I never cried so hard y’all. Just know that God is good and prayer works. Praying for everyone ❤️

This is a very personal topic but I went through an almost identical situation JUST a week before you. I got my news of “all clear” on February 15th while you had just gotten your bad news. Honestly I am just completely overwhelmed with the likelihood of someone sharing my experience. From the running to Google, to preparing for the cancer fight, to mourning the possibility of losing my chance at motherhood, to the random moments of kindness from loved ones that break you down in gratefulness, to the complete clarity in realizing that the only way through this is full faith in God. I would pray and affirm everyday “my body will heal, and I will carry babies” until I got that news. The day the doctor called me and told me I was clear I fell to my knees, shaking, calling to God. I will never forget that moment. Thank you so so so so much again, and know that this matters. Your voice matters, your experience matters, and you are making a difference with your platform. I had some cancer cells grow on my uterus when I was around 21. I too, had to have a biopsy and it's very painful. they literally have to scrape a piece of skin off of your uterus. it feels like very intense cramps.
I ended up having to get the cryotherapy procedure (the use of freezing oxygen to freeze the cells off my uterus.) I had to be wheeled out to the car in a wheelchair with my friend helping me. I'll literally never forget that experience, it was TOUGH.
I'm 32 going on 33 now. so glad you're ok Isi. and thank you for sharing this with us. we love you!!! let this be a wake-up call to prioritize your health over everything else!! ❤️🙏

I cried everyday. I should've had a little more faith at the time, but I was more scared than ever. My partner at that time left the day we found out I had to have surgery and be out of work for 2 months. Left me with all the bills and my kids.

Thank you so much for sharing this part of your life. My first pap happened when I was 26 and my notification for BV didn't hit until 5 months later. Even though that's a small thing, I was already emotional because my dermatologist told me that it might be possible that I had PCOS. It's been a world changer and even though all of the "tests" and examinations came back negative for PCOS, it led me to finding out about a cyst on my ovaries that the pap didn't catch... This video is so important because for people who have been told or feel that they are healthy for so long, they write off any possibility that anything could be going on with their health. It's very important to go to the doctor.

The doctors and nurses made sure to tell me that even though they were vague about everything else. They also never helped me with a more accurate description of what was going on. I had a few ultrasounds and they did blood work. They later told me that I had no apparent signs of PCOS. I was also told that I'm too young and "thin" for it to be a major concern. The only ground I had to stand on was my late period and my reference from my derm because of my testosterone levels that apparently weren't high enough by the time they checked. I told them I had been on hormones by that point and to review the levels from when I had lab work done at the derm. But, they were too lazy to pull them

But like you I was playing and hadn't been to the doctor since I was 21 and I was 28 when I went back. Won't catch me slipping again! I'm 29 now so I have to be on top of it.
    Thanks for sharing!!

Thank you for being so open and trusting with us to share your experience. Our experiences are different, but I did have a similar experience where they found abnormal cells and I actually had to get a LEEP procedure done to remove those cells. It is extremely uncomfortable, scary and overwhelming. As women there’s so much we experience and have to worry about. I’m glad you’re okay and keeping the faith! You got this sis 💕💕💕

Wow thank you for sharing this video! This takes a lot of courage and vulnerability to share, and this really struck a cord. I’m a 26 year old woman just putting a doctors check up on my to do list and saw this. God is good, thank you for living in your truth it strengthens us all! ❤️ I teared up watching this, and I’m so glad you are healthy.

ISI, thank you so much for your transparency what you experienced. When you said that you made this for someone out there who has been neglecting their internal, that’s me. After an abusive relationship, I started to not care about myself as much. Missing out on taking vitamins, not eating, not drinking water, and not exercising. This video was the push I needed to get back to taking my health seriously regardless of how I’m feeling overall. I have been experiencing severe lethargy and I’ve been pushing back signing the papers to get Medicaid and have things looked at after my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer this year. This is a maternal trend that scares me but I’d rather know sooner rather than later. Thank you again for encouraging us to take our health seriously even if we fell off. I am 29 this year and you are right, I am not the same as the younger version of myself. Time to get back to loving on me internally and externally

Yes, please take care of yourself
! I am a breast cancer survivor of 22 years, God gives us one body to take care of.
Being a survivor definitely puts things into perspective!
I am so sorry for your abuse experience, but thank God that you are a survivor!

So I had a Pap smear this year after not going for 5-7 years and they found abnormal cells and said to come back in three years 😣 only thing I can do is be prayerful and hopeful that it turns out okay when I go back.

    • @niccid5922
      @niccid5922 2 роки тому +7

Hi love! I would definitely get a second opinion on that. Pap smears are supposed to be done once a year especially if your cells are abnormal. That can mean you potentially can have HPV and if left untreated it can get so much worse over a 3 year span. Hope all is well ❤️

@@niccid5922 +1 to what Nicci D shared @denedra Vincent . Usually if you have abnormal cells or ASCUS docs would do a colposcopy. Please consider getting a second opinion love. Many people don’t know this but I believe at least in the u.s., insurance companies (most) cover these pap smears EVERY Year 100% as a preventative measure and help with early detection of any related issues. Lifting everyone up that has gone through this.

I’m not a big angel number girl because i feel like it takes away from giving God ALL glory. But it definitely spoke to your situation. Praise God! Like you said He will give you a situation that makes you lean on Him and I pray that you continue to do so even when you know everything is good. Love you Isi! 🤍

Praise God!!!!!!! I am so glad you are okay. And yes God has his hands on you, he will not take his hands off of you. Thank you for sharing this because I have been afraid to get a pap smear because of the fear of there being a problem, but now I know I need to get this done. I pray that you and Josh continue to have a good health! The Lord does work in mysterious ways, He was also teaching you like hey the people surrounding you are good for you!
