Yes, Fast Eddie WAS and still is VERY Underrated! I knew him for almost 40 years, as I was Motörhead’s fan club Boss. Right, I discussed his stepping back on Overkill, and yes, you’re right, he knew when to leave the gaps, and did so for those very reasons. Listen to his playing on the Curtis Knight Zeus album, The Second Coming, he’s knockout, almost jazzy in places. Thanks for featuring him.

Wow, a message from *the* Alan Burridge. Thank you, an honour. I can remember sending you a letter way back in the pre-internet dark ages, asking to join the Motorhead fan club. It blew me away just meeting Eddie that one time, wish it had been more, So many questions I would have liked to ask him, and I still hope someone will write a book on him one day. I'll check out that album you mention for sure. Cheers!

Thanks for the video . I met Eddie backstage after Ace UP Your Sleeve Tour and Iron Fist Tour . He , and the rest of the band were the nicest Rock star celebrities I have met . Wonderful people .
I see you had a reply from Alan Burridge , who I think lived very close to where I lived .

Thank you... That's a cool story, to meet the oft-called 'classic line up' in their pomp must have been awesome. Yes, Alan Burridge honoured me with a comment. I paid tribute to him after passed away, and I was surprised and also honoured when his granddaughter left a comment there. . ua-cam.com/video/2KVRB6C4Pqg/v-deo.html

When Eddie played leads it sounded like he is hanging on by a thread and just thrashing away. When I heard him play leads on the track Overkill as a kid I thought it sounded like an descending fighter plane. Just so intense and loose at the same time.

Couldn't have put it better myself, I felt the exact same thing hearing Eddie play.

I like your comments and involvement, space and how hard and loud or soft you play is very important indeed. It is blues 100%...blues rock, that's it, it doesn't change to anything obscure!!
