Tales of AFib” 1

So this surprised me yesterday. Early morning and while doing some weeding I felt my heart beating faster and faster. I stopped what I was doing and try to calm my breathing down while thinking that this wasn’t normal. I was literally feeling scared asking myself whether I was having an anxiety attack or heart attack. It wasn’t a pain but I felt the sensation of the fast heartbeat at the back of my head.
So I called 9-1-1. They took me to my local ER in Westchase. The nurses did a fine job together with the doctors. Who recommended that I was suffering from atrial fibrillation and need to go to an hospital for treatment. Which I did do as they transported me to my local hospital AdventHealth In Carrollwood. They diagnosed the health problem and started working on me. I’m feeling much like my old self again and that’s really cool!
