Bought this the other day. Its amazing. Fast, good battery and finger print scanner, face recognition is flawless. And i came from a galaxy s21 ultra. I decided i wanted a cheap phone as im sick paying for expensive phones and breaking them. I have a fast charger from my samsung and it charges quickly enough.
Nice! I love the S21 Ultra, probably one of my favourite phones I've ever used! But this is a good one too, if you don't need all the bells and whistles 😁

Since we're talking about an LCD display and not a very bright one, you might experience some difficulties seeing the screen under sunlight. Motorola doesn't provide information regarding screen brightness, but considering other reviews I've looked into, it doesn't seem to be that powerful for outside use during the day, yet perfectly usable.

Yes I was, and it proved to be correct afterwards. You see, I wanted to know more about the moto g54 because I wanted to buy it, and I did. The screen isn't that bright in the sunlight indeed, but I came from an amoled display so I guess my standards for that are a bit high. I have a question for you, have you noticed the screen has a slightly yellow tint in it?

Just finally had to bin off my ancient e6 plus, which was still running pretty much fine, if a little slow, on Android 9, solely because of the UK 3G switch off and no longer being able to make actual phone calls owing to incompatibility with VoLTE, so not overly bothered about limited updates. Got one of these, for 130 quid from Argos, which updated to Android 14 out of the box, and am very happy with it

@@cmhonsu33can put a phone service/data on phone without a insertion of a actual SIM. Just a code you buy. So at arrival in say a international airport you buy phone service over a counter or by subscribing online without having to fiddle pulling your phone apart to fit a SIM.

I’m getting old now too 😂😂. That should be a pretty decent upgrade from that, screen won’t be as nice but everything else should be equivalent if not better! Consider the edge 40 Neo, that’s a good one too!
Same here, trying to replace my old S8, it still runs great, but apps are refuse to work on Android 9 :'( Slack, Online banking, GoPro app. S8 great phone still works great, too bad it doesn't get Android 10 😢
I replaced my LG V60 with this... I needed 256rom. Phone is great. Does everything you'd expect a phone to do. Plays games quite well too.

Hi, is it an easy phone to set up and navigate for an elderly person? The spec is perfect for the usage needed.
Yes, most phones these days are pretty straightforward to setup. Just follow the steps, and as long as you have a gmail account so you can access the apps you need etc. Software and security update regularity will depend on the individual phone.

Where are the speakers ?
I know this sounds fickle but i prefer my headphone jack at the top, regardless of blue tooth headphones. Shame,was thinking of getting the G54.
