    I have owned the 27cc version since 2008, and it still runs beautifully well.
    Echo stuff will cost a bit more than most other makes, but will last a lifetime with care.

    Nice little saw! Love the unboxing and the review. Seems to work very well. Thanks!

    That is without a doubt the best unboxing i have ever seen. That looks like a great saw for cutting hard to reach limbs. I may just have to check in to this saw. I have an Echo 18 inch saw and i absolutely love it.

    Just purchased this same saw a week ago and have been using it a lot.
    It’s a little power house and I love the way it screams.
    I chose the 14” bar.
    Haven’t needed to sharpen it yet which really surprised me.
    Good video as usual.
    Thanks

    I think Stihl is making a great error not offering a chainsaw in this mite category. It is a must.
    I have a 1993 Stihl 021 with a 16in blade @ 35 cc that is considered heavy for its class. Still runs great but lugging it around for smaller branch work is tedious as I am getting older.

    I love this little Echo arbor saw and wanted one so bad. Unfortunately, 2 years ago when I was ready to get one, they were back ordered and not one available across the entire country. I ended up with the Husqvarna top handle, instead. I am very happy with it, and it's turned out to be a nice little saw. I just had my heart set on the Echo. If I buy another, it'll be the Echo. Now mind you, I have a Stihl 201, but like the Husqvarna more, so I'm confident of like the 2511 even more.

    I am a Stihl guy for the most part.
    When we bought Barbs portable building, that place was also an Echo dealer. They were having an open house with some really good discounts.
    We got additional discounts when we bought the building and I ended up buying the Echo pole saw. I have been very happy with it.
    However, you need to eat your Wheaties for breakfast. That thing will wear you out.

      From what I"m hearing, that's the nature of pole saws. Makes sense since you're hanging a piece of equipment off a literally 10 foot pole!

    Since I live in the west we have times when all gas powered chain saws are prohibited. Since I have Makita tools I bought a 36v chainsaw. It is a power house and my go to saw when I need to limb or cut down small trees. I had an echo cs3000 which was very reliable.

    Great video! That looks like my wife might like using it. btw, I think I recently discovered the "trick" (well at least it works for me) to the chain untangling. Once you get it to the point where there are two loops (like Mickey Mouse ears), where the chain that's crossing is over the *top* going from one loop to the other, then pull the chain from opposite the two loops **through** the two loops. If I could draw a picture it would be a lot easier to explain.

    My experience is that it's the Little dog that will bite you.
    Small and lightweight saws do look and feel like toys. I wonder how many more chainsaw accidents are occurring with the small saw craze.
    I recently bought the Milwaukee M18 Pruning saw because I already have M18 batteries and tools. I like it. Maybe it's the chain, but it doesn't do well with an undercut.

  • @theflow5269
    @theflow5269 9 місяців тому

    As a professional arborist, my previous experiences with echo saws means I wouldn't touch one with a 10ft barge pole. Besides, in Europe, you "should" have a 'chainsaw from harness' qualification to buy a top handled climbing saw as the lack of back handle means that the risk of kick back is waaaay greater.

    • @theflow5269
      @theflow5269 9 місяців тому

      And the face shield on an arb helmet is to stop sawdust and little else. It won't do squat if you have an issue with your chain.

    Nice little saw. Seems it has a place and a need. I would just warn you about those engineered fuels. I watch chickcanic, Channel on UA-cam she spends all day long fixing no start chainsaws with that engineered fuel. I don't know much about it don't use the stuff, but if when your chainsaw doesn't start one day I would check that first.
