its not so often where i look for bossing builds and accidentally encounter a build i made and im actively using.
recommendation: get a Lodbrok-C with demolition/wellspring, recharges grenades extremely fast but also has Hakke Breach for destroying crystals fast. this should clear the other weapon slots for something spicier with bigger HP pools.

I honestly forgot about HoIL since Bungie nuked it. The changes I made to your Mods was in the Arms. I replaced your Grenade Kickstart with Font of Focus and Vigor for a +30 to both Discipline and Strength whenever I pickup an orb of power. I also swapped out Whisper of Bonds for Whisper of Hedrons which gives me +60 Mobilty, Resilience, and Recovery and increased weapon stability and aim assist for 11 seconds just for freezing an enemy. I want my stats maxed and recharged rate through the roof to maybe resemble the HoIL of old lol. On the class item i took off Reaper for Empowered Finish, I may change back to Reaper but i wanted a way to get Armor Charged in a pinch.
That might work better in PvP

Salvations grip helps a lot for locking areas down
i found that severance enclosure is prob on of my fav stasis exotics, the amount of enemies you can hit with a melee, like strand too, can really generate some explosions, though I'm finding that after my initial run of it that it appears to not actually be exploding the crystals with just the exotic explosion (just mostly shattering from direct contact and pass thru), which does have some notable dmg on it, tbh the strand or void execution builds could honestly love this too.
tbh what i was really hoping for and have done just once was utilizing the stasis "knockback" the melee on titan says it has, but its like 1 foot, i was hoping the final blow would allow me to send the target into a crowd to detonate, even if its just like 5 feet, which is how the one did go, but man its such a fine line of leaving just enough hp to send the foe flying a little. still chain reaction explosions setting off frozen targets that will detonate the crystals. very nice
still been meaning to use it with the slide melee and see if those crystals final blows cause additional explosion since its coded as a melee generated crystal

Hey in the defensive aspect section, when you say "Whisper of rime" and show it on the screen you describe whisper of Shards and you don't take rime in your defensive build, is that correct not taking the overshields in the defensive build?
This is a really nice breakdown, have you considered or tried Cadmus ridge for the aggressive ice lance?
Thinking about this build and I got a lodbrock C with demo wellspring for even more abilities.
I like to think that bungie giving us mods which allows us to combine dark and light subclasses together have this whole time been teasing the endgame and what guardians will become with prismatic.
Hoarfrost is the most titan it gets using your barricade offensively, but ofc there are some pretty neat exotic armors to run with stasis…i just can’t get away from shattering the world with hoarfrost

Every build is gangsta when you have an Orpheus hunter in your team.
But 99% builds just fall flat when mobs start to run around the map.
Exactly. Rig Hunter and Phoenix Warlock are the go-to for the majority of successful legend runs. After that its just every other build riding the dick of those builds. lol

@@AbsolutelyZer0 I run both pretty heavily and both carry harder than any build out there. There is zero room to debate that. Shit just check LFG and all you see is rig hunter and Phoenix warlock requests. Rigs gives amazing crowd control while Phoenix gives amazing team survivability especially in the later waves. The best part about both is that if you've built them properly you'll have your super back every 30 seconds.
Now sure, you can run a mountain of other builds that can succeed but most people would agree that those 2 builds are basically win buttons. If you believe otherwise that means you've never played with/used them or your new to the game.
Unfortunately Titan lacks any build like this. They have solid builds but nothing that comes close to those core builds. Part of the reason for that 90% of Titan builds are melee based and in legend exploders will one-shot even the toughest of Titan builds especially in the later waves.
@@supersizesenpai sword build with funi gloves is pretty fun. But kinda useless as u either live through everything or do damage. OP for objectives like zone captures and defuses tho.

Idk i think hoarfrost is the way to go with a syntho swap for your super.
Hoarfrost is putting crystals on to your shortest cooldown ability by far and essentially makes your discipline and strength cooldowns irrelevant.
Its really good this season with the artifact as well. Im no behemoth expert, but I am a helm of inmost expert and it essentially dead after its initial nerf and the nerf to armor mods.
I’ve managed to keep HOIL chains up on void. It’d probably be harder on arc And stasis tho
I agree. After running both I think Hoarfrost is just superior. Heart just doesn't cut it anymore.
Yeah i agree i use Hoarfrost and love Hoil but sadly the nerfed it to the ground damn near... Nerfs in pve games should never happen. We need fun not balance.
Precious Scars > Hoarfrost. The extra crystals aren't needed. I use Raconteur with headstone and Salvations Grip. Healing is what behemoth needs

How do you get the exotic armour?
I threw this build on yesterday for some fun and was at 50 levels with ease. The only thing I swapped was a hand cannon with incodescent and switched to the stasis exotic grenade launcher. Forgot the name. Fun build for sure.

many crystals, lot of ammo and in its default mode still an grenade launcher (cant count how many times i killed myself)
I prefer crest of alpha lupi on this build for survivability

and so much fun. your team will hate you for blocking 70% of the view but the crowd controll ability is just nice.

The shatter damage knocked tormentors and I kept spamming crystals for my friend so he was spamming his consecration
I usually just run void in Onslaugh. Shield, not bubble. Bubble is too annoying in this mode lol
What's the name of the armor
hoil is better suited for an arc class, imo. essentially for the thrusters, I find them much more easy to put in the battle flow than a barrier
anyway, I tried this build and holy molly it slaps hard. the only downside is that team mates are having a hard time with all these sturdy crystals all over the place.

"Shatter damage"😂 yea wait till that shatter artifact mod gone😂 there's a reason why shatter damage was cried about before that mod. Now since it's here everyone so used to it and thinks the mod is only doing a small buff. Nah fam once that's gone it's gg!

For this season, I’d honestly stick with sunshot because of the seasonal mods. Just wayyy too good

Is it just me or is it actually annoying to play when others are using statis? I use Hunter/Gryfalcon/Lance a lot. I need to get weapon kills with lance but when I play with statis those walls are always up sucking up my bullets. They also get in my way when I am trying to move around. I have to take attention away from my play to break the walls.
People out here PRAISING hoar-frost. Its a slow exotic with little gains. HOIL just works better in every aspect.

IDK if I just suck or what but this build is VERY weak when I use it.... i'm dying left and right, not able to spam the crystals like he does in the video... not sure what i'm doing wrong

Curious how that plays out if enemies are frozen, which negates getting hit by melee’s for the damage explosion
@@Zyonik_ you're not using it for the melee retaliation
melee hits give you armor charge, every individual crystal from howl counts as a melee and will rapidly fill your armor charge as you shatter them near enemies, use this to fuel melee kickstarts and keep the ball rolling.
It's best used with another stasis buddy for consistency from the extra shards, otherwise monte carlo may be required to help fill the last little bit of your melee charge.
Definitely a more involved build to use and abuse, but more potent at it's peak from my experience. Also since you're using an arm exotic it's extra easy to do quick swaps to synthos before casting super

I cannot stand running with stasis users sorry. All the damn crystals get in the way and trap teammates. It’s more obnoxious than anything.

You need a good teammate. I ran hoarfrost titan...and a teammate ran tether. I would always throw my glacier or stasis wall after enemies are in the tether
