The "Only Warlocks/Only Solar" on LFG has made become a hunter main. Bad D2 players are crouching hard Well of Radiance & Phoenix Protocol, they put it down in the middle of the enemies and do PRIMARY damage
I also recommend looking out for the Gunsmith's Omolon focusing days. The Chill Clip buff to the Aurvandil coming in FS will make it a two-shot freeze now. And, Reconstruction in the other column makes it go up to 14 shots, 10 of which are Chill Clip activated. Yeah it's a long charge fusion so it's not going to be as plug-and-play as an ALH Riptide, but it's another option (I like it better personally). There might be a new mag option available I haven't rolled a new one in a while since I got mine a bit ago, so that 14 could maybe be even better.

Another solid solar primary is the BXR-55 BATTLER. It can have Demolitionist + Incandescent, is craftable, and with the damage buff coming to Pulses it is likely to put in some work.
@Bennieboy918 I work with backup mag, as running it straight up gives it an extra 12 rounds per mag (33 to 45). 4 extra bursts before reloading is amazing.
Maven just did a run-down on all pulses given the buff. Worth a watch. Unfortunately, she doesn't have much love for the Battler (justified if you watch).

Coolguy famously knows everything. Waking is pound for pound the best arc hc in the game. Shoot to loot voltshot is a one size fits all utility weapon. It is criminal how good waking is in pve/pvp. Coolguy just has a chip on his shoulder about it but goes nuts over hcs with the same stats/rolls (see spare rations)
It's also a reasonable lucky pants option, not quite as good at boss nuking as Malf or Warden's (even after the kinetic damage changes) but still a 180 rpm with a decent damage perk, and you can throw on Voltshot utility when you're not using it for the exotic pants. (shame it lost 4TTC but you can just do Backup Mag now and get enough bullets that way).
For Fusions with Chill Clip you can also go for Aurvandil FR6. You can focus the weapon with Banshee-44 using the engrams. You're looking for Reconstruction + Chill Clip.
Lumina absolutely deserves a mention if only for group activities, as does Travelers Chosen, it's Kinetic but with osmosis and it frankly can't be beat for builds that lean on ability spam.
I got a maltias birthright to drop while just screwing around on a low level nightfall and it had blinding, autoloading, and leadfrom gold. That weapon is amy favorite swiss army knife. I wish more people gave blinding GLs some love like you did friend!
oh yeah, ALH/Lead on that gun is great. I wish I kept a slideshot Ignition Code, was relatively new when TWQ dropped and didn't realize how rare it'd become, but MB's probably the next best option unless we get extremely lucky on Xur (who had a slideshot one a couple months ago, but no disorienting grenades)
Not gonna lie, that edge transit clip had me clenching the backdoor for how close your teammate got to stepping in front of you. They really need to fix GL projectile hitboxes....
One thing you forgot to mention about Forbearance: the Into the Light version doesn't have Soul Drinker as it's origin trait, which means you can't regen your health, my personal advice is, if you get the BRAVE version of the weapon, try to get one with Unrelenting in the 3rd column, that'll heal you. Or you can try and get one with Demolitionist + Wellspring, that combination paired with the BRAVE origin trait will give you instant heal grenades or whatever grenade/melee you want to use.

I think this is already a great list, so anything I add are alternatives or lower priority mostly: - Summoner with heal clip + onslaught/ incan from Trials - explosive personality/ tusk of the boar / the void wave frame (reload perk + damage perk) All hard to farm - mountaintop with ALH + recomb, from Onslaught - semi otician and cold comfort, for rockets w/ surges other than solar - leviathan's breath, whisper of the worm, thunderlord for alternative heavy dps (TL is freeeeeee) - the exotic bows in all three flavors
heal clip/incandescent luna's carried me on pantheon nezarec, that fight is incredibly deadly and getting to heal off frequently-up marksman dodges saved me more times than I can count. so seconding "heal clip gun" also grab field prep/bipod semiotician for GMs, 16 rockets is nothing to sneeze at. can also do explosive light if you prefer individual bigger hits
Add Elsie's Rifle for void primaries is a nice option as well. 3rd column options of feeding frenzy, keep away and zen moment with 4th column destabilizing rounds, frenzy or desperate measures
Parasite, Whisper of the Worm, Hammerhead, Irukandji, Izanagis Burden, Crux termination, Blowout, Krait and Appetence are all great options and alternatives.
Since Pulse Rifles are getting some pretty big buffs in TFS, think I'll throw a few that I really like out there. -Blast Furnace: The big thing here is that it can roll with Kinetic Tremors in the third column, so you can pair it with a damage perk like One for All or Desperate Measures. Damn good gun for grinding down tough enemies from a distance. Farmable from Onslaught -BxR-55 Battler/Adhortative/Darkest Before: Solar Pulses for throwing scorch everywhere. Adhortative and Darkest Before can mix Incandescent with Heal Clip while BxR-55 Battler can mix it with Demolitionist. Darkest Before can be farmed from the Prophecy Dungeon, Adhortative can be farmed from the Starcrossed exotic mission and focus at the Spirit of Riven and is craftable, and BxR-55 Battler can be farmed from Dares of Eternity and is craftable. -Elsie's Rifle: The best Void Pulse we have imo. Only pulse that randomly rolls with Destabilizing Rounds. Farmable from Onslaught. -Phyllotactic Spiral/Oversoul Edict: The Voltshot throwers to cover every Light element. Phyllotactic Spiral is a Neomuna world drop and can be crafted and Oversoul Edict can be farmed from Crota's End and is craftable.
The neomuna weapons unless there's been a substantial update are an absolute nightmare to farm. I have them all but new players beware (unless they updated)
@@oxsila one big tip is to start doing the 100k weekly mission once every week for the guaranteed red border drops. ;) Also, you can get one red border of each weapon from the quest per character (or class, can't recall), so with a bit of work you're pretty much guaranteed to have 3 for each weapon and will likely only need 2 more to complete the patterns.
Calus MINI-TOOL is my solar primary of choice. Rolling with Unrelenting/Incandescent it's not as potent for team support as something with Heal Clip might be, but it's great for SMG lovers. You can get the crafted version from the Presage exotic mission when it's up in the Exotic Rotator. And while not what they used to be, I think it's also important to mention Chill Clip fusion rifles. There are revisions to the nerf incoming that will allow non-Rapid Fire Frame fusions to again freeze in just 2 shots rather than 3. Deliverance from the Vow of the Disciple raid will be extremely strong simply due to this.
Given how abysmal my luck was with the Presage loot table (I'm talking I did DOZENS of Presage runs over multiple weeks and got not a single one) I'm glad he didn't put it in this list lol. There's just not enough time before TFS at this point
I straight up forgot it was in Presage, honestly, because my luck was so bad. I just bought enough copies from Xur for the pattern and cashed in all the harmonizers I'd not gotten from my seasonal track
One not mentioned for a sniper is Supremacy. Rewind or lead with kinetic tremors is very good. It's only like two shots for tremors to go off. If you need some aoe and precision. Then this is my go to.
I’d also suggest Lingering Dread for Chill Clip. Every shot has Chill Clip and it will be able to freeze in 2 shots unlike Riptide. Harder to farm from Duality, but it’s a workhorse
Must have day one build that will let you survive anything that the new Legendary campaign will throw at you: Strand Titan w/Suspend grenades/drengar's leash/banner of war. Add Stronghold and a sword with Destabilizing Rounds and Repulsor Brace. You can use a energy weapon slot with the same perks or just a void to double up. If you get one trash mob kill that then makes another one volatile and then you kill that one, you are starting a loop that makes you unkillable. You're getting a void oversheild, banner of war and restoration from the gloves. Falling Guillotine rolls with this right now, I'd suggest getting one. I pair Witherhoard with it right now and it's been a great combo.
A few that come to mind are: Mountaintop- really great for Dmg rotations on tankier enemies Trinity ghoul- great bow for ad clear, especially during an arc surge Midnight coup - super solid hand cannon with a lot of great viable rolls Prosecutor - super solid auto rifle with volt shot
Just a small correction, but Deliverance does not roll with Lead from Gold and/or Auto-loading Holster in the third or fourth column perks. Ideally, of the perks available on the weapon, Guardians should aim for a Demolitionist/Chill Clip Deliverance.
In terms of chill clip fusions post Final Shape, Burden of Guilt > Deliverance > Riptide > Aurvandil PURELY from a time to freeze perspective. Riptide will take 3 shots instead of 2 however thanks to it being the fastest firing, which slows it down AND makes it less ammo efficient. Burden of Guilt will be fastest to freeze but it also has GARBAGE perks and is only obtainable through legacy focusing from Trials which requires 2 engrams a piece after you unlock the drop for 5 engrams if you don't already have that. Deliverance has the advantage of being craftable and compulsive reloader is perfect to pair with Chill Clip to instantly reload your 2 ammo after your freeze. TECHNICALLY if you get an adept Chill Clip drop it can be SLIGHTLY faster due to the adept charge time mod. Demo + Chill Clip is also going to be very fun to play with on Stasis Hunter with Renewal Grasps where you'll really value the extra Duskfield Grenade uptime AND get a ton of benefit from Touch of Winter being buffed to increase your dodge CD any time you apply slow to enemies. Riptide's biggest advantage is that it can roll Lead From Gold which lets you have much better ammo economy even with the 3 shot to freeze requirement. Downside is that it has 12 perks in each column BUT at the very least you can get multiple perks in each column if you have crucible rank resets. Aurvandil kind of sucks because of the slow charge time BUT it can run reconstruction plus chill clip which gives you an auto-load effect and a TON of stasis slow/freeze shots in a row without needing to reload as all the overflow counts for chill clip over the "half magazine" requirement.
while rockets are still good in some situations grenade launchers are generally better for dps nowadays so I would recommend prioritising getting a good edge transit over apex predator. Also while dragons breath is great for solo content due to its high total damage and great ammo economy it doesn't have the best dps, causing it to struggle competing with other heavy hitters when playing in group content
FYI FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DONT HAVE THE RECENT DLCs, With tve release of Into The Light u can farm the pantheon mode for Raid weapons that would originally require the paid DLC to access, u can even obtain enough red borders to craft a weapon if u farm said encounter enough
A couple of other options to consider: * Wish-Ender, for dealing with Barrier champions. * Witherhoard, for running with any Bait and Switch heavy. * Parasite, for when something absolutey, has to get bursted down.
For those who got it in the Guardian Games, Heir Apparent will be a pretty solid carry, especially for Warlocks. It won't rock as hard on Hunter as either of the other two, but for someone with low-skill, it still carried me through solo Lightfall Legendary.
Pulse Rifles are gonna be insane in TFS with a +38% buff, so get these: - Adhortative with Heal Clip / Incandescent - Oversoul Edict with Eddy Current / Voltshot - Elsie's Rifle with Repulsor Brace / Destabilizing Rounds or whatever perk combo you prefer, these are just the most synergistic.
While Riptide and Deliverance are good weapons, I like to use the Aurvandil FR6 with Reconstruction & Chill Clip. Reconstruction allows you to be constantly at full ammo, giving you a nice bump to Stability from the Origin Trait. If you do reload, the Trait also gives you a boost in that department. You can focus farm this at Banshee when he had Omolon weapons available.
I'm going to shout out the phylotactic spiral pulse for ad clear as well. Why? Get one with volt shot and compulsive reloader and electrocute the world. As pulses are getting a 20% buff and extra against red bars it will be in the top 2 legendary pulses in the game.
Another thing about chill clip, deliverance will be better ammo wise since chill clip is getting buffed to activate the freeze effect faster on slower firing fusions
Get The Last Word. The weapon has been getting steady buffs over time, which bleeds into pve dmg numbers. On average LW will hit on the higher end with 16,000 24,000 on a crit. And most red bars will die with 1-2 shots in the body. This weapon chews through just about any enemy. And because you the weapon from the hip, you can fire it faster when switching to it, and you can much more easily activate all of your abilities, since unscoping creates an input buffer that doesn't let you hit melee or grenade
Cloud strike could be a great option for those who own Beyond Light, as its DPS is seriously impressive while also boasting solid ad clear, the main downside is that it’s random drop from Empire Hunts, which while not bad does mean you’re at the mercy of RNGesus.
1. Definitely Whisper of the Worm. With already underwhelming linear fusion's getting slightly worse, the Whisper is by far the best precision damage heavy weapon in the game. 2. Any decent auto, pulse or scout rifle with kinetic tremors. Extremely useful and strong perk. 3. Trinity Ghoul One of the best add clear weapons in the game and easy to get. 4. Witherhoard Just an overall great weapon which can be used in most situations for a strong effect. 5. Arbalest. Super easy to get and quite useful in certain situations. 6. D.A.R.C.I. You know it's the best. 😅
Posterity is the ultimate arc hand cannon rolls with frenzy/Volshot. Faster reload and bonus damage. The archetype might not be ideal but the perk combo is so strong that it is worth it.
Since we're recommending solar/incandescent and pulse rifles. I've found the BXR is quite consistent and it's frame makes it quite controllable. Plus craftable, plus 20% damage bopst in Final Shape
Honorable mentions...ALH + recombination or Vorpal Mountain Top or Reconstruct + recombination / Vorpal Succession. Exotic energy primary and B&S Apex Predator or even EA/ALH + Edge Transit Very easy to use F2P weapon loadout. Succession is stronger but requires you to aim of course, but if you can't do that then Mountain top is fine. Craftables are now a bit too late to chase now imo since you have no control over the drops and you only get one per day.. And you need 5 for 1 weapon.

FWIW Forbearance with Demo/Wellspring is a complete beast for ability builds. The trait also pumps your ability recharge based on your subclass. It's awesome.
@JeffreyMcLain Thank you, you as well. I only got the idea after trying out travelers chosen because GernaderJake uses it in Trials very often, and I realized it would help bring an ability focused build to the next level.
@JeffreyMcLain honestly, I think it will be a great build for ad clear in end game content, however, I don't particularly see it doing great for all champion types or for boss damage. It may be a fun build for running in a team that can handle bigger enemies themselves.
for utility, i would also recommend a Shoot to Loot weapon for the kinetic & energy slots (depending on what primary you're using). i'm mostly using scouts -- Hung Jury in the kinetic, & for the energy slots, Tarnished Mettle (arc), Brya's Love (Void), and Staccato-46 (solar) -- you don't need one for each element unless you're using that as your main primary for a build -- otherwise a quick temporary swap will suffice...
When you're allergic to both PvP and Raid,you can get a stasis Chill clip reconstruction fusion rifle at Banshee. You can sometimes focus it (the Weapon things like Hakke and Omolon switch alot) but when you can't focus it right now you can open the gunsmith engrams on themselves and pray to the rng god. I have 2 chill clip reconstruction Aurvandil
Consider the 'Lingering Dread' grenade launcher from Duality. If you can roll Disorienting Grenades - Auto-Loading - Chill Clip you got yourself a very handy utility tool
Aurvandil FR6 from the Gunsmith It's a high impact Fusion, but it can roll with Reconstruction + Chill Clip, you can get 12 in the mag with Enhanced Battery and you'll have 9 chill clip shots. It rotates in and out, so check daily.
Notes/Honorable Mentions: - Supposedly a Strand damage Rocket Sidearm is likely obtainable as part of the Final Shape’s Destination loot pool - Chill Clip fusions that are not in the Rapid Fire category are getting a buff. - For Void weapons, I’d highly recommend the Veles-X due to incoming changes to pulses. It’s found at the monument to lost lights at the tower under Witch Queen if you have that expansion. Similarly the BXR from dares is an excellent solar pulse. - Empty Vessel is a much more easy to farm Auto-Loading + Disorienting GL. It’s at Zavala under focused decoding, but its perk pool is massive, so I’d suggest ranking up Vanguard a few times before investing heavily. As for honorable mentions, a good MG like Hammerhead (Onslaught) or Marcato (World Drop) are always nice to have and are F2P. Midnight Coup with kinetic tremors is very good in endgame content. Eramite is a very good backup DPS Fusion Rifle and can be easily obtained and crafted from season of the witch activities. Until Its Return is a very fun shotgun for nuking things with Overflow + Cascade Pt. Deep activities. Dead Weight is a shotgun from gambit that is probably the best One-Two Punch shotgun in the game. Heliocentric is a world drop Sidearm with Heal Clip + either Kill Clip or Incandescent. Sidearms shred enemies up close right now, so one with sustain like this is actually pretty great. Just my takes. Happy hunting everyone :)
I rocked a crafted Disorienting Pardon Our Dust for ad control, right up until I got an adept Wild Style with Disorienting on it. Twice the ad control. Great times all around
Worth mentioning there is an upcoming chill clip buff with final shape where most sources outside of rapid fire fusions will proc freeze on 2 shots. Deliverance will be quicker and less ammo intensive to proc than riptide in that regard.
Really sad to not see cold comfort in the list... :( (It can roll with envious and bait and switch + restoration ritual(the origin perk) you can shoot up to 4 rockets before having to reload!!)
Apex predator is better, free and about 100x easier to get that's why I have envious b&s cold comfort and I never use it because in any content where i'm actually gonna want to proc envious, i'll just use edge transit.
Striga is also a notable mention in my opinion as its very very easy to get and no effort is required as far as the catalyst goes, while also being an easy 10/10 mob clearing weapon Edit: i also forgot its getting nerfed when i commented this
Ignition Code is my go to disorienting GL. It has slideshot/danger zone with disorienting and spike grenades. It’s super fun to just slide around instead of having to reload. Sweatcicle actually has a video grinding dares to get one after deleting his god roll. 😂
Subsistence + Volt shot on the Subjunctive doesn’t work. Subsistence cancels volt shot, the auto reload doesn’t proc it and if you proc it manually , jolt shot disappears after you get 1 kill because subsistence.
A couple other ones I would definitely recommend in the Power slot: Doomed Petitioner is the linear fusion from Season of the Wish and is another one that you can get the patterns for super easily running up to TFS. I would honestly call it a best-in-slot for any damage situation where you're using LFRs. Also, if you can't get your hands on an Apex Predator, a Palmyra-B (also craftable) with auto loading and explosive light is a great second option. It's craftable and can be bought from Banshee. Pair that bad boy with Izanagi's Burden and go nuts.
Keep in mind that Kinetics will fuel BOTH sides of the Transcendence meter. getting a good Kinetic primary like midnight coup will help round out your prismatic build.
Had to pause the video at "riptide" to comment how you could skip compulsive reloader as the best 3rd column perc as chill clip only works with the top half of the mag. Perfect relationship, God roll
For a stasis fusion with chill clip I'd recommend Aurvandil since it can have reco and chill clip, guaranteeing that you stay above the 50% mag requirement for chill clip
TUNE IN FOR PSA: empty vessel is a breach loader in the energy slot, it can roll with the same auto loading, blinding roll. It's also rly easy to focus for at zavala ur welcome.
Another arc primary to look out for is Brigand's Law. It's an arc rapid fire frame sidearm from Season of Plunder. Sidearms are getting another buff in The Final Shape making this a weapon you should absolutely keep an eye out for. The roll you're looking for is threat detector and voltshot. This roll was handed out in the season pass, so if you never got the pattern but did get the curated roll from the season pass, you already have it. Otherwise, Xür sells it every now and again.
In the vein of "great arc primary featuring Volt-shot", Prosecutor is worth a mention too. Like Nation of Beasts, it can pair it with Dragonfly, with options for Keep Away, Gutshot, and Rewind Rounds
In my experience with voltshot dragonfly it's not great purely for the fact that auto rifles aren't super great in pve currently. But maybe the AR buff will change that. I also have a rewind rounds target lock one for pve and a zen moment target lock one for pvp.
@@oxsilaif your avaluation of all ARs in pve is based on a target lock roll, I think your opinion is a bit scewed. TL rarely gets to build all the way up against most targets, and you hope they die before its allowed to. ARs with other damage perks, and especially with elemental effects like V-rounds and U-rounds definitely do some work. Though the damage buff to compensate for loosing enemy spec mods will help too
@@shadowsa2b Bro when did I say any of that I just told you one of the other rolls I got. It's a good roll for champions. But ARs like I say aren't that good, hopefully they will be worthwhile with the future buff.
For a solar trace rifle, Acasia's Dejection is ten times better than Retraced Path. You can get it crafted from red borders out of Root of Nightmares. Coldheart is arguably better than Wave splitter because of the ionic traces you get which give you a damage boost and help refund your abilities. Warlocks wear a Fallen Sunstar and they'll be cooking hard. I also recommend getting The Navigator from Ghosts of the Deep dungeon and completing the catalyst. One of the fragments for prismatic says you'll get increased class ability for having any sort of subclass buff including woven mail. Navigator gives you woven mail when you either shoot a teammate for a few seconds or hold the trigger down on a bigger target for two seconds. That's free DR and free class ability synergy with Prismatic.

I don’t know if anyone mentioned yet but the lingering dread gl can roll disorienting grenades and chill clip. Also pretty easy to farm; drops from the first encounter in duality
Just to mention that bungie isnt just eliminating all the damage increasing mods, they are making their bonus baseline. Rockets didnt get the buffs most other weapons got so they were indirectly nerfed but they didnt get hit double.
Heal Clip/Incandescent Luna's is _very much_ your friend if you're a solar hand cannon enjoyer who solo queues for basically any PvE activity. I do need to mess with the Harrowed explosive/one for all roll on Zaouli's, though. Fantastic list overall, really like the mixture of ease of acquisition. (Also more people should run Garden)
Just quick note regarding Chill Clip on Riptide/Deliverance: Bungie is changing how many slow stacks chill clip applies based on the frame of the fusion rifle. TLDR: Riptide needs 3 shots to freeze while Deliverance needs 2.
sidenote for the chill clip fusion rifle: riptide will get a nerf to need 3 shots minimum to freeze honorable mention for the autoloading blind grenade launcher: wilderflight dropped in spire of the watcher, dual shot grenades means bigger aoe
Genuinely surprised no three burst linears made the list, like doomed petitioner with recon/precision instrument is a beast for damage output if you want a low risk/high reward weapon. A lot of teams struggle with coordinating explosive weapons in a group, and doomed has been excellent for putting out a lot of free/easy damage.
@@tjseventyseven A lot of average players struggle with b&s, and lets face it this video and ones like it tend to be aimed at the average players. Doomed specifically can output a very good amount of damage if you're aggressive with it and have a couple surges on. Precision procs incredibly quickly on the three burst lfrs, combined with recon you have quite a good chunk of damage output. I was routinely out damaging most people on teams using mine in activities. Single fire lfrs I can agree aren't really as useful, but this one specifically is still competitive enough to recommend.
I don't care what anyone says, Posterity is great. As a 180 it has a bit less Oomph than 140 HC but combo Frenzy Voltshot is just picking it up and its a great primary
1) Just saying but ,on the apex predator, i think most of the time you end up dealing more damage with explosive light, unless the phase last for you to shoot all rockets (and even then, if u have orbs to shoot always buffed, you deal more) 2) The nerf would be mitigated by the wolfpack rounds matching the element and (i assume) getting buffed by surging mods
Disclaimer on outbreak, kinetics are getting -10% on bosses (Special ammo is -15% for kinetics) Just wanted to throw that out there given outbreaks notoriously a backup DPS Nonetheless the weapon should be excellent moving forward
Just throw on final warning if you want a good supplemental primary dps (it’s not better than special supplemental dps but still better than outbreak even now)
@@EggyWeggyIII I'm not fully in tune with the range of final warning but if the boss happens to be quite a distance away (like caretaker's final stand) then i'd imagine it would just be better to throw on outbreak, plus rewind rounds and the upcoming buffs are going to make it even better for boss dps
@@petervalvo1186 true, I’m not sure if it’s a projectile type of situation as I’ve not used it just seen it, but even now it’s doubling outbreak in terms of dps so even after the buff it will likely still be better, but for easy damage outbreak will probably be a good last resort damage option.

The "Only Warlocks/Only Solar" on LFG has made become a hunter main. Bad D2 players are crouching hard Well of Radiance & Phoenix Protocol, they put it down in the middle of the enemies and do PRIMARY damage

If you still need Riptide, it's Mayhem on Tuesday, so just turn on a movie, turn off your brain, and grind those crucible engrams.
I also recommend looking out for the Gunsmith's Omolon focusing days. The Chill Clip buff to the Aurvandil coming in FS will make it a two-shot freeze now. And, Reconstruction in the other column makes it go up to 14 shots, 10 of which are Chill Clip activated. Yeah it's a long charge fusion so it's not going to be as plug-and-play as an ALH Riptide, but it's another option (I like it better personally). There might be a new mag option available I haven't rolled a new one in a while since I got mine a bit ago, so that 14 could maybe be even better.

Another solid solar primary is the BXR-55 BATTLER. It can have Demolitionist + Incandescent, is craftable, and with the damage buff coming to Pulses it is likely to put in some work.
Hadn't even thought of that, the BXR is highly slept on but with the hip fire accuracy from it's frame it is so good in a lot of situations!

@Bennieboy918 I work with backup mag, as running it straight up gives it an extra 12 rounds per mag (33 to 45). 4 extra bursts before reloading is amazing.

Coolguy famously knows everything. Waking is pound for pound the best arc hc in the game. Shoot to loot voltshot is a one size fits all utility weapon. It is criminal how good waking is in pve/pvp. Coolguy just has a chip on his shoulder about it but goes nuts over hcs with the same stats/rolls (see spare rations)

Another arc primary to mention is Posterity from Deep Stone Crypt. It's craftable and can roll Voltshot/Frenzy or Voltshot/ Rampage.

Something to note for rapage is with volt shot it is inconsistant at proccing rampage when the volt shot is triggered
180s are S tier for red bar clearing. Frenzy not only gives it damage, but extra reload speed to get that volt shot reload faster.
It's also a reasonable lucky pants option, not quite as good at boss nuking as Malf or Warden's (even after the kinetic damage changes) but still a 180 rpm with a decent damage perk, and you can throw on Voltshot utility when you're not using it for the exotic pants. (shame it lost 4TTC but you can just do Backup Mag now and get enough bullets that way).
For Fusions with Chill Clip you can also go for Aurvandil FR6. You can focus the weapon with Banshee-44 using the engrams. You're looking for Reconstruction + Chill Clip.

Lumina absolutely deserves a mention if only for group activities, as does Travelers Chosen, it's Kinetic but with osmosis and it frankly can't be beat for builds that lean on ability spam.
I got a maltias birthright to drop while just screwing around on a low level nightfall and it had blinding, autoloading, and leadfrom gold. That weapon is amy favorite swiss army knife. I wish more people gave blinding GLs some love like you did friend!

oh yeah, ALH/Lead on that gun is great. I wish I kept a slideshot Ignition Code, was relatively new when TWQ dropped and didn't realize how rare it'd become, but MB's probably the next best option unless we get extremely lucky on Xur (who had a slideshot one a couple months ago, but no disorienting grenades)
Not gonna lie, that edge transit clip had me clenching the backdoor for how close your teammate got to stepping in front of you. They really need to fix GL projectile hitboxes....

One thing you forgot to mention about Forbearance: the Into the Light version doesn't have Soul Drinker as it's origin trait, which means you can't regen your health, my personal advice is, if you get the BRAVE version of the weapon, try to get one with Unrelenting in the 3rd column, that'll heal you. Or you can try and get one with Demolitionist + Wellspring, that combination paired with the BRAVE origin trait will give you instant heal grenades or whatever grenade/melee you want to use.
Fact of the matter is that Forbearance shines with Chain Reaction, due to adclear potential.

Prodigal Return is my favorite disorienting. Voltshot and envious. Score a kill with your utility on accident, get free damage.
I think this is already a great list, so anything I add are alternatives or lower priority mostly:
- Summoner with heal clip + onslaught/ incan from Trials
- explosive personality/ tusk of the boar / the void wave frame (reload perk + damage perk) All hard to farm
- mountaintop with ALH + recomb, from Onslaught
- semi otician and cold comfort, for rockets w/ surges other than solar
- leviathan's breath, whisper of the worm, thunderlord for alternative heavy dps (TL is freeeeeee)
- the exotic bows in all three flavors
heal clip/incandescent luna's carried me on pantheon nezarec, that fight is incredibly deadly and getting to heal off frequently-up marksman dodges saved me more times than I can count. so seconding "heal clip gun"
also grab field prep/bipod semiotician for GMs, 16 rockets is nothing to sneeze at. can also do explosive light if you prefer individual bigger hits
Add Elsie's Rifle for void primaries is a nice option as well. 3rd column options of feeding frenzy, keep away and zen moment with 4th column destabilizing rounds, frenzy or desperate measures
Parasite, Whisper of the Worm, Hammerhead, Irukandji, Izanagis Burden, Crux termination, Blowout, Krait and Appetence are all great options and alternatives.
My Lingering dread rocking with both blinding grenades AND chill clip is my baby, it does everything I need especially being in the primary slot

Since Pulse Rifles are getting some pretty big buffs in TFS, think I'll throw a few that I really like out there.
-Blast Furnace: The big thing here is that it can roll with Kinetic Tremors in the third column, so you can pair it with a damage perk like One for All or Desperate Measures. Damn good gun for grinding down tough enemies from a distance. Farmable from Onslaught
-BxR-55 Battler/Adhortative/Darkest Before: Solar Pulses for throwing scorch everywhere. Adhortative and Darkest Before can mix Incandescent with Heal Clip while BxR-55 Battler can mix it with Demolitionist. Darkest Before can be farmed from the Prophecy Dungeon, Adhortative can be farmed from the Starcrossed exotic mission and focus at the Spirit of Riven and is craftable, and BxR-55 Battler can be farmed from Dares of Eternity and is craftable.
-Elsie's Rifle: The best Void Pulse we have imo. Only pulse that randomly rolls with Destabilizing Rounds. Farmable from Onslaught.
-Phyllotactic Spiral/Oversoul Edict: The Voltshot throwers to cover every Light element. Phyllotactic Spiral is a Neomuna world drop and can be crafted and Oversoul Edict can be farmed from Crota's End and is craftable.
The neomuna weapons unless there's been a substantial update are an absolute nightmare to farm. I have them all but new players beware (unless they updated)
@@oxsila one big tip is to start doing the 100k weekly mission once every week for the guaranteed red border drops. ;)
Also, you can get one red border of each weapon from the quest per character (or class, can't recall), so with a bit of work you're pretty much guaranteed to have 3 for each weapon and will likely only need 2 more to complete the patterns.
Smite of Merain gets Focused Fury/Firefly, that's gonna slap too
Calus MINI-TOOL is my solar primary of choice. Rolling with Unrelenting/Incandescent it's not as potent for team support as something with Heal Clip might be, but it's great for SMG lovers. You can get the crafted version from the Presage exotic mission when it's up in the Exotic Rotator.
And while not what they used to be, I think it's also important to mention Chill Clip fusion rifles. There are revisions to the nerf incoming that will allow non-Rapid Fire Frame fusions to again freeze in just 2 shots rather than 3. Deliverance from the Vow of the Disciple raid will be extremely strong simply due to this.
Given how abysmal my luck was with the Presage loot table (I'm talking I did DOZENS of Presage runs over multiple weeks and got not a single one) I'm glad he didn't put it in this list lol. There's just not enough time before TFS at this point
I straight up forgot it was in Presage, honestly, because my luck was so bad. I just bought enough copies from Xur for the pattern and cashed in all the harmonizers I'd not gotten from my seasonal track

One not mentioned for a sniper is Supremacy. Rewind or lead with kinetic tremors is very good. It's only like two shots for tremors to go off. If you need some aoe and precision. Then this is my go to.
Brigan's law is so much better voltshot primary than either other option out there.

I’d also suggest Lingering Dread for Chill Clip. Every shot has Chill Clip and it will be able to freeze in 2 shots unlike Riptide. Harder to farm from Duality, but it’s a workhorse
Must have day one build that will let you survive anything that the new Legendary campaign will throw at you: Strand Titan w/Suspend grenades/drengar's leash/banner of war. Add Stronghold and a sword with Destabilizing Rounds and Repulsor Brace. You can use a energy weapon slot with the same perks or just a void to double up. If you get one trash mob kill that then makes another one volatile and then you kill that one, you are starting a loop that makes you unkillable. You're getting a void oversheild, banner of war and restoration from the gloves. Falling Guillotine rolls with this right now, I'd suggest getting one. I pair Witherhoard with it right now and it's been a great combo.
A few that come to mind are:
Mountaintop- really great for Dmg rotations on tankier enemies
Trinity ghoul- great bow for ad clear, especially during an arc surge
Midnight coup - super solid hand cannon with a lot of great viable rolls
Prosecutor - super solid auto rifle with volt shot
All brave weapons are really solid, since this is a list for new and returning players. The hard-to-get exotics are questionable to say the least.

Just a small correction, but Deliverance does not roll with Lead from Gold and/or Auto-loading Holster in the third or fourth column perks. Ideally, of the perks available on the weapon, Guardians should aim for a Demolitionist/Chill Clip Deliverance.
In terms of chill clip fusions post Final Shape, Burden of Guilt > Deliverance > Riptide > Aurvandil PURELY from a time to freeze perspective.
Riptide will take 3 shots instead of 2 however thanks to it being the fastest firing, which slows it down AND makes it less ammo efficient.
Burden of Guilt will be fastest to freeze but it also has GARBAGE perks and is only obtainable through legacy focusing from Trials which requires 2 engrams a piece after you unlock the drop for 5 engrams if you don't already have that.
Deliverance has the advantage of being craftable and compulsive reloader is perfect to pair with Chill Clip to instantly reload your 2 ammo after your freeze. TECHNICALLY if you get an adept Chill Clip drop it can be SLIGHTLY faster due to the adept charge time mod. Demo + Chill Clip is also going to be very fun to play with on Stasis Hunter with Renewal Grasps where you'll really value the extra Duskfield Grenade uptime AND get a ton of benefit from Touch of Winter being buffed to increase your dodge CD any time you apply slow to enemies.
Riptide's biggest advantage is that it can roll Lead From Gold which lets you have much better ammo economy even with the 3 shot to freeze requirement. Downside is that it has 12 perks in each column BUT at the very least you can get multiple perks in each column if you have crucible rank resets.
Aurvandil kind of sucks because of the slow charge time BUT it can run reconstruction plus chill clip which gives you an auto-load effect and a TON of stasis slow/freeze shots in a row without needing to reload as all the overflow counts for chill clip over the "half magazine" requirement.
while rockets are still good in some situations grenade launchers are generally better for dps nowadays so I would recommend prioritising getting a good edge transit over apex predator. Also while dragons breath is great for solo content due to its high total damage and great ammo economy it doesn't have the best dps, causing it to struggle competing with other heavy hitters when playing in group content
FYI FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DONT HAVE THE RECENT DLCs, With tve release of Into The Light u can farm the pantheon mode for Raid weapons that would originally require the paid DLC to access, u can even obtain enough red borders to craft a weapon if u farm said encounter enough
recluse with enlightened action and desperate measures has been a MONSTER for me!
A couple of other options to consider:
* Wish-Ender, for dealing with Barrier champions.
* Witherhoard, for running with any Bait and Switch heavy.
* Parasite, for when something absolutey, has to get bursted down.
For those who got it in the Guardian Games, Heir Apparent will be a pretty solid carry, especially for Warlocks. It won't rock as hard on Hunter as either of the other two, but for someone with low-skill, it still carried me through solo Lightfall Legendary.
Pulse Rifles are gonna be insane in TFS with a +38% buff, so get these:
- Adhortative with Heal Clip / Incandescent
- Oversoul Edict with Eddy Current / Voltshot
- Elsie's Rifle with Repulsor Brace / Destabilizing Rounds
or whatever perk combo you prefer, these are just the most synergistic.
While Riptide and Deliverance are good weapons, I like to use the Aurvandil FR6 with Reconstruction & Chill Clip. Reconstruction allows you to be constantly at full ammo, giving you a nice bump to Stability from the Origin Trait. If you do reload, the Trait also gives you a boost in that department. You can focus farm this at Banshee when he had Omolon weapons available.
I'm going to shout out the phylotactic spiral pulse for ad clear as well. Why? Get one with volt shot and compulsive reloader and electrocute the world. As pulses are getting a 20% buff and extra against red bars it will be in the top 2 legendary pulses in the game.
Another thing about chill clip, deliverance will be better ammo wise since chill clip is getting buffed to activate the freeze effect faster on slower firing fusions
Get The Last Word.
The weapon has been getting steady buffs over time, which bleeds into pve dmg numbers. On average LW will hit on the higher end with 16,000 24,000 on a crit. And most red bars will die with 1-2 shots in the body.
This weapon chews through just about any enemy. And because you the weapon from the hip, you can fire it faster when switching to it, and you can much more easily activate all of your abilities, since unscoping creates an input buffer that doesn't let you hit melee or grenade
Cloud strike could be a great option for those who own Beyond Light, as its DPS is seriously impressive while also boasting solid ad clear, the main downside is that it’s random drop from Empire Hunts, which while not bad does mean you’re at the mercy of RNGesus.
1. Definitely Whisper of the Worm.
With already underwhelming linear fusion's getting slightly worse, the Whisper is by far the best precision damage heavy weapon in the game.
2. Any decent auto, pulse or scout rifle with kinetic tremors.
Extremely useful and strong perk.
3. Trinity Ghoul
One of the best add clear weapons in the game and easy to get.
4. Witherhoard
Just an overall great weapon which can be used in most situations for a strong effect.
5. Arbalest.
Super easy to get and quite useful in certain situations.
6. D.A.R.C.I.
You know it's the best. 😅
Idk if it’s as good as I think but ticuu’s divination is pretty solid when it comes explosions since sunshot is getting nerfed
Posterity is the ultimate arc hand cannon rolls with frenzy/Volshot. Faster reload and bonus damage. The archetype might not be ideal but the perk combo is so strong that it is worth it.

Since we're recommending solar/incandescent and pulse rifles. I've found the BXR is quite consistent and it's frame makes it quite controllable. Plus craftable, plus 20% damage bopst in Final Shape
Destabilising Positive Outlook ftw. Love that gun and easy to get from Zavala engrams

Very easy to use F2P weapon loadout.
Succession is stronger but requires you to aim of course, but if you can't do that then Mountain top is fine.
Craftables are now a bit too late to chase now imo since you have no control over the drops and you only get one per day.. And you need 5 for 1 weapon.

FWIW Forbearance with Demo/Wellspring is a complete beast for ability builds. The trait also pumps your ability recharge based on your subclass. It's awesome.
I am currently working on getting that roll to pair with the Travelers Chosen to go with the new exotic class item for a hunter ability build.

@JeffreyMcLain honestly, I think it will be a great build for ad clear in end game content, however, I don't particularly see it doing great for all champion types or for boss damage. It may be a fun build for running in a team that can handle bigger enemies themselves.
for utility, i would also recommend a Shoot to Loot weapon for the kinetic & energy slots (depending on what primary you're using). i'm mostly using scouts -- Hung Jury in the kinetic, & for the energy slots, Tarnished Mettle (arc), Brya's Love (Void), and Staccato-46 (solar) -- you don't need one for each element unless you're using that as your main primary for a build -- otherwise a quick temporary swap will suffice...
When you're allergic to both PvP and Raid,you can get a stasis Chill clip reconstruction fusion rifle at Banshee. You can sometimes focus it (the Weapon things like Hakke and Omolon switch alot) but when you can't focus it right now you can open the gunsmith engrams on themselves and pray to the rng god. I have 2 chill clip reconstruction Aurvandil
Additional weapon recommendations…slice & CR Tusk Of The Boar, kinetic tremors Multimach, healclip + incan Summoner, healclip + frenzy Parabellum, AH + spike Wilderflight, demo + voltshot undercurrent, cold steel Slammer, Ruinous Effigy w/ catalyst…if that dmg buff to traces includes the Sphere it could be insane especially w/ gyrfalcon build.
Consider the 'Lingering Dread' grenade launcher from Duality. If you can roll Disorienting Grenades - Auto-Loading - Chill Clip you got yourself a very handy utility tool
Aurvandil FR6 from the Gunsmith
It's a high impact Fusion, but it can roll with Reconstruction + Chill Clip, you can get 12 in the mag with Enhanced Battery and you'll have 9 chill clip shots.
It rotates in and out, so check daily.
Trinity Ghoul and Thorn (with the addition of those warlock exotic gloves that I forget the name of). Soooo good for add clear.
Another arc primary that’s underrated is Brigands Law. That side arm slaps in onslaught
Notes/Honorable Mentions:
- Supposedly a Strand damage Rocket Sidearm is likely obtainable as part of the Final Shape’s Destination loot pool
- Chill Clip fusions that are not in the Rapid Fire category are getting a buff.
- For Void weapons, I’d highly recommend the Veles-X due to incoming changes to pulses. It’s found at the monument to lost lights at the tower under Witch Queen if you have that expansion. Similarly the BXR from dares is an excellent solar pulse.
- Empty Vessel is a much more easy to farm Auto-Loading + Disorienting GL. It’s at Zavala under focused decoding, but its perk pool is massive, so I’d suggest ranking up Vanguard a few times before investing heavily.
As for honorable mentions, a good MG like Hammerhead (Onslaught) or Marcato (World Drop) are always nice to have and are F2P.
Midnight Coup with kinetic tremors is very good in endgame content.
Eramite is a very good backup DPS Fusion Rifle and can be easily obtained and crafted from season of the witch activities.
Until Its Return is a very fun shotgun for nuking things with Overflow + Cascade Pt. Deep activities.
Dead Weight is a shotgun from gambit that is probably the best One-Two Punch shotgun in the game.
Heliocentric is a world drop Sidearm with Heal Clip + either Kill Clip or Incandescent. Sidearms shred enemies up close right now, so one with sustain like this is actually pretty great.

For The Recluse I personally enjoyed enlighted action + destabilizing rounds more than subsistence + destabilizing rounds
I rocked a crafted Disorienting Pardon Our Dust for ad control, right up until I got an adept Wild Style with Disorienting on it. Twice the ad control. Great times all around
Worth mentioning there is an upcoming chill clip buff with final shape where most sources outside of rapid fire fusions will proc freeze on 2 shots. Deliverance will be quicker and less ammo intensive to proc than riptide in that regard.
Crux termination can really give apex a run for its money nowadays. As a matter of fact I’d love to see a dps comparison.
Posterity has voltshot in column 3, and can pair with damage perks like frenzy or rampage. I definitely prefer that as my arc HC for pve.
Really sad to not see cold comfort in the list... :( (It can roll with envious and bait and switch + restoration ritual(the origin perk) you can shoot up to 4 rockets before having to reload!!)

I have envious b&s cold comfort and I never use it because in any content where i'm actually gonna want to proc envious, i'll just use edge transit.

Striga is also a notable mention in my opinion as its very very easy to get and no effort is required as far as the catalyst goes, while also being an easy 10/10 mob clearing weapon

Ignition Code is my go to disorienting GL. It has slideshot/danger zone with disorienting and spike grenades. It’s super fun to just slide around instead of having to reload. Sweatcicle actually has a video grinding dares to get one after deleting his god roll. 😂

Subsistence + Volt shot on the Subjunctive doesn’t work.
Subsistence cancels volt shot, the auto reload doesn’t proc it and if you proc it manually , jolt shot disappears after you get 1 kill because subsistence.
Yup Threat detector is the way to go
A couple other ones I would definitely recommend in the Power slot: Doomed Petitioner is the linear fusion from Season of the Wish and is another one that you can get the patterns for super easily running up to TFS. I would honestly call it a best-in-slot for any damage situation where you're using LFRs. Also, if you can't get your hands on an Apex Predator, a Palmyra-B (also craftable) with auto loading and explosive light is a great second option. It's craftable and can be bought from Banshee. Pair that bad boy with Izanagi's Burden and go nuts.
Keep in mind that Kinetics will fuel BOTH sides of the Transcendence meter. getting a good Kinetic primary like midnight coup will help round out your prismatic build.
Had to pause the video at "riptide" to comment how you could skip compulsive reloader as the best 3rd column perc as chill clip only works with the top half of the mag. Perfect relationship, God roll
For a stasis fusion with chill clip I'd recommend Aurvandil since it can have reco and chill clip, guaranteeing that you stay above the 50% mag requirement for chill clip
TUNE IN FOR PSA: empty vessel is a breach loader in the energy slot, it can roll with the same auto loading, blinding roll. It's also rly easy to focus for at zavala ur welcome.
Another arc primary to look out for is Brigand's Law. It's an arc rapid fire frame sidearm from Season of Plunder. Sidearms are getting another buff in The Final Shape making this a weapon you should absolutely keep an eye out for. The roll you're looking for is threat detector and voltshot. This roll was handed out in the season pass, so if you never got the pattern but did get the curated roll from the season pass, you already have it. Otherwise, Xür sells it every now and again.
I think since the next seasonal artifact is most likely going to be void focused, the Graviton Lance is a must have.
Adagio is also a pretty good perk on indebted kindness, it's what I've been running along with lead from gold
In the vein of "great arc primary featuring Volt-shot", Prosecutor is worth a mention too. Like Nation of Beasts, it can pair it with Dragonfly, with options for Keep Away, Gutshot, and Rewind Rounds
In my experience with voltshot dragonfly it's not great purely for the fact that auto rifles aren't super great in pve currently. But maybe the AR buff will change that. I also have a rewind rounds target lock one for pve and a zen moment target lock one for pvp.
@@oxsilaif your avaluation of all ARs in pve is based on a target lock roll, I think your opinion is a bit scewed. TL rarely gets to build all the way up against most targets, and you hope they die before its allowed to. ARs with other damage perks, and especially with elemental effects like V-rounds and U-rounds definitely do some work. Though the damage buff to compensate for loosing enemy spec mods will help too
@@shadowsa2b Bro when did I say any of that I just told you one of the other rolls I got. It's a good roll for champions. But ARs like I say aren't that good, hopefully they will be worthwhile with the future buff.
For a solar trace rifle, Acasia's Dejection is ten times better than Retraced Path. You can get it crafted from red borders out of Root of Nightmares. Coldheart is arguably better than Wave splitter because of the ionic traces you get which give you a damage boost and help refund your abilities. Warlocks wear a Fallen Sunstar and they'll be cooking hard. I also recommend getting The Navigator from Ghosts of the Deep dungeon and completing the catalyst. One of the fragments for prismatic says you'll get increased class ability for having any sort of subclass buff including woven mail. Navigator gives you woven mail when you either shoot a teammate for a few seconds or hold the trigger down on a bigger target for two seconds. That's free DR and free class ability synergy with Prismatic.
Shoot to loot is way better than any of acasias perks so this just isn’t true

Lumina, Buried Bloodlines, and Leviathan's Breath are all good ones to have. Next Void season is going to be CRAZY with bloodlines
I always have and always will bring Le Monarque into new expansions. Destroys just about everything and hits decently hard. Big recommend.

Just to mention that bungie isnt just eliminating all the damage increasing mods, they are making their bonus baseline. Rockets didnt get the buffs most other weapons got so they were indirectly nerfed but they didnt get hit double.
Heal Clip/Incandescent Luna's is _very much_ your friend if you're a solar hand cannon enjoyer who solo queues for basically any PvE activity. I do need to mess with the Harrowed explosive/one for all roll on Zaouli's, though.

Just quick note regarding Chill Clip on Riptide/Deliverance: Bungie is changing how many slow stacks chill clip applies based on the frame of the fusion rifle. TLDR:
Riptide needs 3 shots to freeze while Deliverance needs 2.

Genuinely surprised no three burst linears made the list, like doomed petitioner with recon/precision instrument is a beast for damage output if you want a low risk/high reward weapon. A lot of teams struggle with coordinating explosive weapons in a group, and doomed has been excellent for putting out a lot of free/easy damage.
Lfrs do less dps than supremacy with bait and switch. Lfrs are really awful rn
@@tjseventyseven A lot of average players struggle with b&s, and lets face it this video and ones like it tend to be aimed at the average players. Doomed specifically can output a very good amount of damage if you're aggressive with it and have a couple surges on. Precision procs incredibly quickly on the three burst lfrs, combined with recon you have quite a good chunk of damage output. I was routinely out damaging most people on teams using mine in activities. Single fire lfrs I can agree aren't really as useful, but this one specifically is still competitive enough to recommend.
I'd honestly add Leviathan's Breath to the mix for Volatile on Bosses, Unstoppable Champs, and GREAT heavy ammo economy.
I don't care what anyone says, Posterity is great. As a 180 it has a bit less Oomph than 140 HC but combo Frenzy Voltshot is just picking it up and its a great primary
1) Just saying but ,on the apex predator, i think most of the time you end up dealing more damage with explosive light, unless the phase last for you to shoot all rockets (and even then, if u have orbs to shoot always buffed, you deal more)
2) The nerf would be mitigated by the wolfpack rounds matching the element and (i assume) getting buffed by surging mods
Disclaimer on outbreak, kinetics are getting -10% on bosses
(Special ammo is -15% for kinetics)
Just wanted to throw that out there given outbreaks notoriously a backup DPS
Nonetheless the weapon should be excellent moving forward
Pulses are getting a 20% buff (in addition to the red bar damage buff) to all enemies including bosses so it offsets the nerf specifically to kinetics
Just throw on final warning if you want a good supplemental primary dps (it’s not better than special supplemental dps but still better than outbreak even now)
@@EggyWeggyIII I'm not fully in tune with the range of final warning but if the boss happens to be quite a distance away (like caretaker's final stand) then i'd imagine it would just be better to throw on outbreak, plus rewind rounds and the upcoming buffs are going to make it even better for boss dps
@@petervalvo1186 true, I’m not sure if it’s a projectile type of situation as I’ve not used it just seen it, but even now it’s doubling outbreak in terms of dps so even after the buff it will likely still be better, but for easy damage outbreak will probably be a good last resort damage option.
