I’ve been using this product for a few months now. I do one pack a day. It seems to fill in the gaps when your diet isn’t 💯 on par. Good product no GI side effects.
Great info, i am a 53 years old male back in the 90 i use this product and now that im back to get in shape is good to know all that great information .especially when you need to know what kind of stuff u put in your body after certain age.👍
I mentioned on another thread that I work long night shifts and pak is essential for getting me thru. Last night I was dragging around 3 am and realized I hadn't taken it. I felt so bad that I took 2 packs and I dont normally do that. I was energized 30 min later and powered thru. I never take them witrhout food.
@@fernandocabanillas8133 Good question! Many of the vitamins (especially B vitamins) are better absorbed and utilized along with food. As well, sometimes people get stomach upset when they take a lot of vitamins on an empty stomach.
@@MadScientistOfMuscle Got it, but if I am not susceptible to stomach pain while taking this pack on an empty stomach it’s OK? reason why I ask is because I I’m currently fasting until five or 6 PM and don’t want to take this pack that late since I have to go to bed before 9 PM to turn right around and wake up at 4 AM. If what you say is true about the pack giving you energy I would hate to not have to go to bed because of an energy surge which is why I ask if it is OK to take on an empty stomach. Which brings me to my next question, does this pack break a fast?
@@fernandocabanillas8133 Yep, if you don't get any stomach issues from taking it empty stomach, you'll be fine. I'm the same way - doesn't bother me. And yeah, good to take earlier than later for sure. It's non-caloric, so I wouldn't say it would be enough to technically break a fast.
Animal Pak's the real deal folks, when i trained back in yhe 80s and 90s all the hardcore bodybuilders took it, but mostly on leg day and you'd smell it coming off their sweat, but it "WORKED"
If you follow the directions on the container, you'll have to take two packs ... I don't like the idea of spinning over $30 for a 15 day supply of vitamins
yep, agreed. For me, I found one pack was plenty and didn't feel the need to do 2. I tested 2 and didn't feel like it had any additional benefit for me.
Great review. I tried ordering on their site. Between crappy military verification mixed with Google sign on and animal account. I just threw my hands up in the air. I"ll have to buy somewhere else. LOL! Some other easier site account verification place. I take it as an omen. Trying to find their customer service to tell them about it. Forget that too!! LOL!
That is true for a lot of nutrients (time of day). And yep, some minerals can bind with some foods (especially some plants). It's also one of the drawbacks of taking a big formula like this all at once - some things will be optimized, some things won't. Each pack has everything in it, but not labeled, so you can't really tell what's in what, unfortunately. The BEST way to go is basically take everything individually but you can get into the weeds pretty quick and it may or may not end up being worth the time and expense. But yeah, a "shotgun" style supplement like that is one of the issues.
It's a useful product but, to me, some Animal products are a bit of an overkill. This and Omega, to me, are too loaded. For athletes, it must be more appopriate; I prefer the Universal Daily Formula when it comes to multivitamins. Cheers.
That's great feedback. I agree on overkill on this one - doesn't seem it needs quite as much as it has. Definitely covers the bases but potentially a bit over the top.
Right now, I'm just taking a basic one from NOW Foods (Super Enzymes) - it works pretty well and it doesn't cost much. The top of the line one I also take sometimes is MassZymes - here's the link to that - www.fitstep.com/goto/bio-optimizers/mass-zymes.htm - I use that one when I'm on a muscle-building phase of training.
I’ve actually been taking animal pks since 1983 when they came out. They’ve changed the formula and reduced the vitamins in the new formula. I have a old formula and compared it to the new and improved. Same price less vitamins. Deeply disappointed
@@MCJCartel lowering calcium is a smart move, why would u even want 2k unless you get 0 from your diet. You really don't want much calc from supps, so this is a good move
I work as a fedex delivery driver and spend all delivering heavy stuff and moving for extended periods of time. Would this be a good supplement to help keep my energy up all day without resorting to caffeine and energy drinks ?
It'll absolutely help with that, especially the B vitamins in it (those are what makes your pee turn super yellow when you take this stuff). I'd definitely recommend it for you.
It really depends on your body's needs. There are a LOT of nutrients in each pack and definitely some will get flushed out. If you take two, you'll get some nutrients twice a day that you might need twice a day, but it's likely it will be a lot you don't need on a second pack.

On another note,if your joints are aching,Animal pack came out with a pack called FLEX.
I started using it and my knees have no pain anymore.
Very good to know! I haven't tested that one but it's great that you've seen results like that with it.

Just got my pak today from vitamin shoppe.. it’s a lot of pills to take all at once but hopefully they work.

is it normal to pee neon green while taking this product. Im concerned
totally normal. It's the B vitamins in it. Any excess gets flushed out pretty quickly being water soluble.
It’s kind of annoying. It lasts the rest of the day.
Neon green 😂
Thanks for the review!

Hello brother 💪 Please tell me how to distinguish the original new Animal Pak 44 from a fake?
I wish I knew the answer to that! I actually didn't even know there were fakes on the market.

Dang! Sorry to hear about the runaround you got! I know they have their products on a ton of other sites - hopefully you had better luck that way.
DO YOU KNOW THE TABLET THE SYNTHETIC VITAMIN A IS IN ?
I don't - I actually wish they had a guide to tell you what's in which pill in each pack. Would be a great idea.
Do we need to add a essential fatty acid supplement with this or is that included in the formula 🤔
I would actually add that in. I like Nordic Naturals for that purpose
Aren't we supposed to take vitamins in the morning and minerals in the evening (minerals better without food, as they can bind with some food)?

That is definitely a shame. I hadn't tried it before but reducing the vitamins isn't a great thing to do.
Before they had 11 pills on pack. Now only 8. Calcium droped from 2000 to 650 . Every vitamin was cutted by 66 %. I do not use them anymore. ☹️
