AWESOME Gord, shows your interest in perfection and how hard you work to make sure it is right and not just good enough. Thanks for sharing with us and pointing out that instructions are printed out for a reason so don't be afraid to go back and read them. You're doing great up there and continuing the family business. Fred.OH !!! The sign turned out great and Andrew will be proud to display it.

Modern technology is not my forte, you Sir have a knack to learn new things and retain that knowledge - Well Done Gord. I use to say, if you learn one thing new everyday, you had a good day, now if I can remember where I put my coffee cup, it's a good day lol. Cheers and great instructional video.

Thank you Gord. This was a very informative video. I learned a lot on using the trace feature and the multi different layers. You explain it so well and made it easier to understand. 👍👍

As a complete novice myself this helped me to understand the layers and how they are nominated as well as the tracing component. your explanations are excellent, thank you for the lesson.🙂

For moving things like your letters in Lightburn, I use control button with the arrow keys. This lets you move objects slowly and precisely. You don’t have to go back and forth to turn off snap to grid either. Thanks for the great videos. I learn something out of each one. The sign looks great but I am like you. They may not notice it but I know it’s there. I hope to have a Bolt soon and appreciate your time explaining it. Looks to be a nice machine.

I cut a bunch of foam tool cut outs and the multiple colors comes in very very handy cause each color can be set to different power and speed which is a must cause you can then turn down power and change the cut depth on the foam which is must for getting the correct depth for each different tool. There is a few sheets I have that have 10 different colors on them

You are the best at explaining. I appreciate all your videos and look forward to seeing new ones. I learn something every time. We have a Bolt too! Can you tell me what that white mask that you put on was? Not the 3m one. Thank so much.

Hey thanks for your kind comments. It is called "Paper Transfer tape" or also called "Paper Mask". It is very similar to masking tape but the glue used is very different. I found it at a Sign Shop. You can sometimes find it in a Blue colour or a creme colour. The most popular Transfer Tape is "Vinyl" Transfer tape - but you don't want that. You want "Paper Transfer Tape". Cheers!

Instead of moving the nodes , just delete the nodes in the area you need to move as it will save you a lot of time. Doing this will push the line outwards to the correct position of the letter.
