Thank you! I have a sheet of two tone acrylic that’s too long. I was going to have to pull out my table saw. This is much easier.

Hi. Another informative video. I’m in the US and at times have received materials that are larger than the bed. This is a great tip. Thanks so much.

I have a cnc router and find it very difficult in Ontario Canada to find certain supplies as well, its like some kind of inside secret LOL! I would have to think they exist because I see people at craft shows that have cut the materials.

Hi another great video. Do you have a video on material settings ( engraving and cut)? Still having trouble getting my settings to work, lots of 🔥 wood 🫤

Good morning Vera! Thanks for watching. Yes, there is a video on my channel called 'Quickshot Free BOLT Materials Library ' - it is the base library offered out by Thunder Laser USA. As I determine settings for materials I provide them in the respective video so usually the videos will start with "Quickshot" and then say Settings for 'XYZ' etc. I have only worked a little on bamboo and Baltic Birch so far. However, off camera I have worked on some Maple, Oak and Cherry ( Oak has a weird grain and does not look nice when it is engraved - LOL) What size Lens are you using - 1.5" or 2.5"? Also, do you mask your wood? Thanks!

@@LaserNUG good morning thank for answering my question. The lens is 1.5. Wood is Baltic Birch some Walnut. I know this is a wired question but does it matter where I buy the wood? I’m in Calif

@@veralopez2681 If you take a look on my home page there are two videos - "to Mask or not to mask", and one titled Lazer Dark. These should help but please ask if you have further questions. :))

@@veralopez2681 I think the wood should be the same Baltic Birch should be consistent everywhere I believe. There is a video on my page called Quick Shot - Baltic Birch Settings and also look at the one called 1,000mm per second, 2,000 DPI. Let me know if it helps at all. And remember - it is super important to clean your mirrors and lens every day or two. Also, have you done a mirror alignment yet? GP
