Very helpful video! On acrylic markers - I also have empty Molotow markers, filled with Golden High Flow paints (which are ink consistency, made to work in markers). Molotow has additional nib options which are stellar. It makes for great fun
Those Tombows will move just like your watercolor markers on watercolor paper. In fact, I think they are watercolor markers. Love your videos, looking forward to more art making from you.
I wasn’t a big marker person for a long time. Couldn’t figure out a way to use them that I liked. I’m not big into outlining things but I like them for getting color down fast. And scribbling 😁
This was a great video to watch! I just bought my first Posca pen to try out a different type of marker but I didn't know they could lift when they aren't dry yet! So I'm definitely going to buy some more colours now! Those Faber Castell markers look fabulous too! I sometimes feel like I need to buy all those newer water soluble brush pens that are everywhere now but this made me realise I'd prefer a more classic artist brand like Faber Castell and using a normal brush with water. So thank you!
This was really helpful and informative. However, in Portugal some brands either don’t exist or we can’t find them easily. So, my question is: are tombows or crayolas alcohol markers? Because I have lots of them, some are professional even, and I really like to work with them. And another question: I find it a bit difficult to use poscas on alcohol markers. Shouldn’t I do that or what am I doing wrong? Thank you so much for the great video 🙏🧡💚💙❤️💜💛💗🖤♥️
Hi! They’re not alcohol markers. What kind of paper are you using the alcohol markers on? If it’s yupo or marker paper with a really slick surface, the poscas won’t go down on that very well.
@@LaurenBellArt I use regular paper that is used for drawing and painting at school, I don’t know the name in English. I also have watercolour paper, but I don’t buy other types of paper, because they’re really expensive...
