*NORTH SEA KINGDOM* Finally! I've been getting recommended to try out this CK3 challenge for years now, and I've finally gotten around to do it! Did you notice the new channel art? It's made by our very own Middovah! Tell me down bellow what you think, and check him out: twitter.com/Middovah
I formed my own High Kingdom a few hours before your vid uploaded, I united Norway, Assasinated and conquered the Danes, and then trolled the English. But then my king died and my heirs have been drowning the realm in blood and debt ever since.
CHALLENGE! Do the reverse of the popular Viking Raj challenge. Play as a Hindu character from India in 867 and try to form either the North Sea empire or Scandinavia. Note: if you do decide to do this, you will likely need to hybridize your Indian culture with Norse and choose the Norse heritage option to have the decision for the North Sea available. I’m not sure though- it might be available regardless of culture.
nonono he gotta form the south sea empire, consisting of various kingdoms that border the Indian sea (I don’t main the south-east, so I have no idea what the kingdoms are)
once I attacked him, made him my jester, unlanded him, then he became the leader of a mercenary band, I hired the band, kidnaped him and made him educate my kids. This game is very goofy.
@@lema0925I once captured the heir to Sri Lanka in a raid and made him King of Wales. He later inherited Sri Lanka, and due to his diplomatic range it became possible for characters, religions, and cultures to teleport around the map through his court
I’ve done this before lol, it’s shockingly easy to get the Scandinavian mega-empire rolling once you get started Since you pay men at arms with prestige you can basically have unlimited amounts after a certain point too. The sight of 100,000 Vikings descending on Europe whenever I needed money was awesome
literally going hunting for men at arms, putting up feast flyers for any roaming knights. by far the easiest way to build an early army from my experiences
I have wanted to do a 1066 start as Harald Hardråde and forming the North Sea that way. It's quite tricky, since all three Kingdoms have Electives, and Harald dies quite soon. Denmark is an easier start, since they have claims on both Norway and England, but Harald actually starts off being able to take England. (I always marry off a son to gain an Alliance with the HRE, which makes Wilhelm less conquering)
I love these videos where you explain whats going on, really feel like Im starting to understand the game better after watching! Also 10/10 editing and memes, always a laugh!
I salute you for having (parts of) Frisia in the High Kingdom because they had viking bases and are very much part of the North Sea. I always add then when I form this Empire.
Next challenge could be to recreate the North Sea empire in 1066 start date but with a twist…. The decision must be completed with a descendent of the original high king of the North Sea from the house of Alfwine
It's always weird to me that they didnt make Heljarskjinn look like a siberian, as his mother was a Nenetsian samoyed and he famously inherited her looks, thus the name (black-skin).
I just got North Sea Kingdom myself in my current run, but as Sweden. I forgot that North Sea title turns you feudal, so I instead jumped to feudal the hard way and then formed the High Kingdom of the North Sea. At some point I took England and claimed Paris for a while, but lost it cause during my push for taking Denmark cause I had 2 crusades called on me Sitting at 1100AD, and I'm thinking that i may turn my sights to Italy for those crusades that got called on me...
Form North Sea Empire, Take all of Britannia, Convert to Insularism, Create New religion of your choice that will take all of insularisms holy sites. You'll also be able to receive the bonuses from the christian holy sites in Vikin, Uppland, and Skane.
I want you to continue this run and set a new challenge. Lets say control ireland, scotland, the entire scandanavian region, and continue just taking the coast lines. Setting up for the world war from all the coasts into france, spain and africa at once!
35:26 I only just realised the byzantines own all of bulgaria and the magyars never migrated, i have never seen the AI manage to vassilize bulgaria before
Finnish supremacy. The vikings made settlements everywhere in the Baltic but Finland. That's because they were always driven off by the supreme Metsänvartijat.

The fact that Alfred converted to ásatrú even though irl he was a devout christian is hilarious
