Thank you dear Morgan for this incredible video. I’m teaching IFS basics to neighbors and will share this as summary of what they’ve learned so far. Have used IFS in my counseling career and with myself….and I experience you as a gift to all who watch…you’re a natural for what you do!!
Morgan, I loved this episode. I’m a huge IFS fan and you allowing yourself to do some work with Dick helps others to see the value of IFS. You are doing your parts a huge healing favor! Thank you!
For centuries now, most of us have been taught by family or culture to focus on material gains, even in the face of disease, war and environmental abuse. Not being aware by generations of our potentials and meaning of living has made us tight, small minded and self absorbed. Not an easy atmosphere to find peace and relaxation. Anxiety makes it way to the fore, makes itself unavoidable, either due to a person having all their basic needs met which naturally creates space to reflect and feel those empty spaces, or, because it has finally used up so much bandwidth it has nowhere else to go but out, literally "expressing" like coffee beans in an uncontrolled and helpless manner. The planet clears out negative symptoms in its own way, often dramatically, and we can also burn ourselves to the ground or, get vulnerable and accept the challenge and freedom of new orientation regardless of the fear. 🙏☕
