Another great video! I use this resin for most of my opaque prints good to see it works in this printer. If the translucent ones work it will be time to purchase this printer. Thanks again for your the work you put into these videos.
Thanks...😂...I was worried after having bought 5 bottles . By the way it's thanks to you that I decided to jump from my ANYCUBIC Photon Mono 6 Pro to HeyGears UltraCraft Reflex RS ...as an architect dealing with detailed architecture models I suffered many issues when changing resins... (in my experience not as great as yours I discovered the worst one... RESIONE T72...😢 Siraya Tech Fast was always secure as the ANYCUBIC Plant Base resin ... I hope Heygears goes on improving the software and an UE. Thanks again!!!
@@jaym2381 Siraya Fast ABS like Grey is about 40$ from their own website. Which makes it one of the "cheaper" resins. Especially compared to HeyGears own. Also, Greedy shows the use of other "cheaper" resins as well. The "proper" price of a 3d printer always depends on market average, in my opinion. There are many great printers for around 200-400$, which you can upgrade with a fermentation belt for heating (for almost no money at all), which makes it feature-comparable to the Reflex/RS. You dial-in resin mostly just once, settings-wise. If you absolutely need the "great" auto-supports of Blueprint, you can use it and export the stl files... to use on a different printer.
I bought one with all of the bells and whistles. It’s not overpriced, but it is expensive. It’s nice for him to do all of the testing because the only negative for the HeyGears ecosystem are the price and the walled garden.
@@JohnDoe-yc2gl not over priced. You have just been content or lucky with cheap so-so printers. $799 for a printer that had never had a failure and works out of the box with 90% of the resins on the market without tweaking. Thats quality not overpriced.
Thanks for video appreciate your time and effort. Will be using Siraya Tech with my RS. I used with Mars 4 Ultra - love the stuff and swear by it. I mixed the Navy Grey with their Tenacious Obsidian Black
Hi, One of the reason that boosted my eventual purchase of the Reflex RS, was your videos showing the ability to use third Party Resins... this is of coarse aside from the Ease of use and the fantastic print quality of the printer. I do have a question and request, and that is, can HeyGears print Form Lab Resins? and if it can, is there a possibility that you do a test print?🤔 🙏🙏 😇Cheers
This is usually my go-to resin, really good stuff. I would love to see you testing some flexible resin. Stuff like Siraya Tenacious or Resione F80/F69. Thanks for the video!
I'll be interested to see the translucent resins video. I will be buying a couple of files when my Reflex RS arrives that will require blue water effect & blue lightening effect. They're figures from the Black Clover Manga, Noelle Silva & Luck Voltia. So if you are familiar with these prints I'd really like your views on how to get the best representations from printing
Would love to see you test form labs newer v5 resin. $79 a bottle and "extremely low VOCs" - stuff is near odorless and doesn't trip my air quality monitor at all!
Awesome and thanks for experimenting on our behalf. Here’s an idea for a video. I’m not sure everyone paints the final pieces, but I for one am interested in printing in different colours. The Heygears colour kit is £360+. Could you do a video with white Siraya Tech resin and add varying levels of 3rd party pigment to see how it works? E.g white print, light purple, deep purple and compare success rates and quality on the RS?
How about some different plant-based resins? I have been using Anycubic's plant-based resin with the PAP10 settings and its working well. Although the divots seam large even with a hot water bath to soften the supports.
Thanks for the test...let me ask you something... ...the SUNLU standard resin works fine without the pulse module+heating Vat in the Ultra Reflex RS? I'm asking because following one of your videos I understand so. And I've just purchased some bottles of SUNLU.
Question why aren't you using a wham bam flex plate?I been watching your videos for a while now and omg you will be spoiled by one.i never pull my jupiter se plate off anymore I just carefully peal the flex plate off slightly bend it and prints come off.great video boss keep it up.oh I love your paint tutorials too.
Love theses videos but with all of these resins working seamlessly with the RS possible that they are manufactured by the same company and then rebranded only a thought
I have light underexposure on Elegoo ABS 2.0 on PARP10 and little bit less on PAP10. ABS 3.0 works better but also slight undexposure. I guess all thinner resins fast curing resins are pretty save to use. Printemp between 21-24°. Maybe a little bit more heat can help for better experience. Would be nice if somebody can start an exel spreadsheet to get an overview what's gone work with the exposure tester. I'll test RPG from phrozen in the upcoming days.

How can you not like this guy?! He’s the Bob Ross of 3D printing!!
Nah. He just owns an overpriced 3d printer and shows us what 3rd party cheap resins we can use with it
@@JohnDoe-yc2gl Siraya Fast isn't exactly "cheap." And what's the proper price for a 3d printer?

That's the only resin I use now on my Saturn 4 Ultra. Really like it. Great video!
Awesome resin isn'tit 😁! Thank you!
I just printed a few things on my rs with siraya tech. Next to the official parp10. I am staying with this now.
Comes out fab don't it 😁

I'll try a fluorescent colour one in the test 👍
Jamg he Sculpt please, and maybe a video with your personal favorites regarding detail and durability
never mind, you have already tested that! Amazing work as always! what is your favorite resin to work with currently?

Out of all the 3rd party resins you've tested, do you have any you particularity recommend in terms of price and durability for printing models?

Yeah it works fine 👍
Would like to see elegoo Rapid Standard Resin.
nice.....
Have you tryed with more durable resins? High tough or abs like?
Tried abs like...prints fine

Hmm I don't know if the auto level will work...I've used one before though and it's a great addition

In sure there is some truth to that tbh
I think you said ultracraft reflex enough times, is this a siraya tech test or ultracraft ad?
Take your pick! 🤣
Why you are not using the original reflex. I just bought one, I wonder if I made a mistake :/.
No reason tbh I do still use it ..it's an v amazing printer
Need to select PAP10 or PARP10🤔
I used Parp10 but pap10 may work too
So pretty much any resin works with this printer

fyi - your microphone gain is too high, and that is what is causing the sound issues
Thank you
