Makersworld link takes me to Bambu labs when click Start and wants me to create an account to guess it not free anymore ? Can you share link to the app you used please?

liquid latex is the same thing and much cheaper by volume for all the poor people like me who spent all their money on kits

Hey Greedy 3D, quick question 😅. If we wanted to cast a 3D-printed head in silver or gold, have you tried or tested any third-party casting resins on the Reflex yet? Heygears has released their own casting resin (UltraPrint-Casting PAC10 Wax Casting Resin), but unfortunately, it costs an absolute fortune. It would be interesting to see if anyone has tested third-party casting resins for jewlery designs and other cool things .

This is great! I'm still learning, but are you able to make a video on how to do this but with a full body? I would like to make my family for my Christmas village, but not sure how to make a full body photo into a 3d model.

Super video, aspect ratio of the 3D head was a bit stretched just needed dropping down a little on the y axis and it would look much more like your head, other videos I have seen using this tool have all made the head slightly stretched, takes few pounds off but doesn't look quite right, super job though.

Thank you for this! It’s working for me, I always tried to click “print plate” on my printer in the prepare tab, it would show me all the details but never showed any type of button that said “print” it would just show that screen

So this cant be used to make a custom back panel on a Tablet or phone ? Only for decretive stuff. Any one have a suggestion like DIY one or the cheapest one that can be used to make more than decretive stuff.

Add grip tape to the build plate and it won't slip from your hand.

Seems like a great solution. But at $600 is out of reach for me. Wonder if you can just attach a regular $99 compressor to the printer.

Is there any real difference between the two?

I'm just starting out in the 3D printing space, as my family just got me a Saturn 3 Ultra for Christmas. When i hear that the detergent disolves uncured resin, that would communicate to me that there may be a loss in detail as the first layer is disolved before throwing it into a cure station. Maybe I'm overstating its potency though. Did you see any loss in detail while using the detergent when compared to ipa?

Well done. I like it except for the lips. The actual costume used in the movie did NOT have red lips. The red lips came from print ads in newspapers advertising the film at the time of its release. Good use of speed paints. Bravo!

Did you use Anti-Alasaing on this print? Seems the quality isn't perfect or just not sliced for AA. I'd be curious to see this side by side with their propriatry resin. I'm on the fence about buying this printer because of the propriatery resin and lack of me using any other resin vai manual exposure times and settings like a 'normal' printer.

My door just exploded - I was opening it, and as its HOT is aus right now when i slightly over extended the hinges BLAM right in my hand, multiple cuts and scratches and as I bought it last Christmas its 2 days out of warranty and i have to pay for a new door, also the usb ports fucked.

I've run the thing near non stop since I got it a year and a half ago and decided I'd upgrade to a K1 as a result, creality was selling them for 50 bucks off. Hello good sir!! I’m looking to buy a compressor with a tank. I recently purchased one without a tank on Amazon that I will be returning. Would you recommend this bad boy for painting miniatures?

I bought 2 of these & been using them for around a month. Been really happy with them. So I'm glad to see you give a positive review on your chanel. Use 1 for wash & other for curing. Plus I then have spares to hopefully keep them going if anything breaks. The basket is also wider to allow for those bigger prints, which was another big plus when I was looking to buy mine.

Why would reversing the polarity and reverse cleaning remove the nasty dirty IPA? Where does the dirty IPA go? Isnt it still in the tank?

Hi Greedy3d. I just received my purchased Reflex RS printer - I'm not fortunate enough to be sponsored. Initial setup was fine and build plate level test all ok. I don't have the pulse module but used PAS10 resin at 25 Deg C. To test printer, I printed cones of calibration. For the first 13-15 layers the reflex RS makes a rather loud noise when the build plate stops descending into the resin tray just prior to exposing next layer. Sounds like two thuds or like a stepper motor lose steps type sound and max force -244N. I have completed 4 small 1hr test prints of cones of calibration, in between each checking screen, cleaning and checking resin tray nfep for cracking or damage due to the noise. No evidence of any issues... but with each print the first 13-15 layers or so, it makes 2 thud sounds that then disappear after these first dozen or so layers - I assume printer is on normal layer exposures then. I posted a video at my channel - if you could take a quick look short video titled "Strange sounds when Heygears RS build plate retracts towards screen during initial base layers". My latest uploaded video was the full timeline of print. I sent Heygears a blueprint studio help ticket showing video with audio (and slice file and log file) to ask if such noises are normal. I have video clip on my YT channel. I would appreciate a response to this comment. Heygears tech says yes no worries - machine would shutdown if pressure too much - which is good to know. "We have reviewed the force curve and found that the zeroing force is 100N, which is within the safety range. Additionally, I have confirmed with the relevant personnel that the upper limit for the downward force on the RS printer is 250N. If this limit is exceeded, the printer will automatically stop to prevent damage. Regarding the sound in the video, we have verified that it is the sound of the electromagnets on both sides tightening, which ensures a smooth printing process and naturally differs from other machines. If there were any issues with the printer, the device would report an error, as it is equipped with multiple force sensors for monitoring, making it very safe." Do you have similar noises at the end of each retraction cycle for the first 13-15 layers? Now I printed with PAS10 the torso legs and head for a ladydeadpool - a 6 hour print. The printer makes the same noises for the first dozen or so layers then the thud noise goes away.The parts printed nicely. Then checking the resin tray vat before doing another print I found resin layers stuck to the nfep in areas surrounding the rafts of the parts. In corner areas around rafts extending our 5-10 mm or so, that should not have been exposed. Never had this on the Saturn 4 ultra. Either light bleed or resin compression Had to do a resin tray vat clean cycle to remove. Now cleaned out the PAS10 from the resin tray vat. I don't know about this printer. I have only done this 1 serious print over 1 hour - a six hour print - and 4 other <1 hr test prints, and the resin tray nfep sheet under reflecting lights shows what look like clear pressed impressions in some areas of what look like parts of a print - I always move my test prints around on the build plate when doing the test prints to ensure not repeated prints in the same area of the nfep build plate. Kindly respond to this comment. Both you and FauxHammer have pumped this printer so much it convinced dumb me purchase one, but I am doubting my decision! The RS has given me so much more trouble than the Saturn 4 Ultra. Perhaps I received a 5mins to 5pm checkout manufactured unit? ie a dud unit. Either I return this unit for refund and move on or return for replacement unit. Ideas? ------- EDIT - Decided to return the Reflex RS as my instinct says something is somewhat defective with it. Note - I have received no responses from either Fauxhammer and Greedy 3d, both of whom I asked the same questions, and both of whom have been pumping the Heygears Reflex RS printers on their channels.
